Posted .Our JBL Xtreme 3's playtime would last up to 15 hours. This may vary depending on volume and music content. If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at a low to mid-volume level, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. I have a Sonos Move which i realize is a bit more expensive, but in a similar sized footprint, the Sonos sounds much more musical and enveloping than this JBL.
