This is a great speaker for the outdoors and super sturdy. However it seems only slightly louder than the flip speaker. I'm still satisfied with my purchase as the sound is full and the bass is great. Definitely does the trick for camping and boating.

A great speaker that can take a beating, owned the previous generation of this speaker and this version is a huge improvement, from sound quality, battery life, and durability.

A little on the pricey side but the sound is amazing coming out of such a small speaker. Love that its waterproof. We just strap it down on our paddle board when we head out for the day. Very portable and would buy again!

The speaker is great, battery life, portability, volume. It does everything really good.

This speaker is awesome. Not too big and not too small. The strap it comes with makes it easy to carry around. The volume is more than I expected from this.

This speaker packs a punch and great for traveling/hiking. The up sound at the edge of disturbing your neighbors will social distancing. I think it’s not too much to say but the sound quality is good low/high. the overall experience buying the product was great, clean store!

I know a lot of people disliked the JBL XTREME3 for various reasons, but I will tell you in my own opinion why I rate this speaker excellent. 1) Base is pretty punchy for a compact speaker. Is it a subwoofer? No. But it's good. 2) It weighs less than the Extreme2. 3) Charge time and battery life are about the same which is why elected to go with less weight because I carry it around with me at the pool and on vacation. Overall, there isn't a huge performance increase with the Extreme3 over the Extreme2 other than better bass in my opinion. My main incentive to upgrading to the 3 is the increase bass performance and it being slightly less heavy.

I thoroughly love this speaker. The sound quality is top notch. I love that the speaker is waterproof and soundproof that makes it great to take on trips to the beach and the lake.

Sound quality is tremendous. Volume levels extreme :-) battery life is fantastic. Would definitely recommend anyone looking to upgrade or make a first time purchase

Like everything about this speaker. Sound quality is good, the strap that comes with it is handy, it could be carried or hanged on a tree. This speaker could also be linked to another JBL speaker to extend the sound.

Speaker is crazy loud. Fills our whole house when at 75% volume. Kind of pricey but totally worth because of the bass and balance you get compared to cheaper speakers.
