As a Bluethooth speaker, this is simply amazing. The sound quality is excellent, the straps are convenient, and it has a decent IP rating against water and dust. The only downside is that according to reviews, the much cheaper Charge5 has only slightly less impressive sound. This one is louder and has more bass, but only by a little bit. You could get two Charge5 speakers and run them in stereo mode for about the same price as one of these.

Bought this to replace an older JBL portable speaker. This one is much bigger and louder. It sounds pretty good but I do think it's probably about $100 over-priced. It would be a good purchase at $250 and a great purchase at $200, but $350 is steep for what you get. Either way, I still like JBL products.

I like the size, not too small and not too big. It can fill a room well and has that traditionally smooth bass from JBL. (I have the Flip 5 as well, which is great for travel).

Great portable speaker. We take it out on the kayaks and it has great sound. Have not had any issues when it get wet. Love the bottle opener feature.

I was looking for a speaker that could hold up to a large space outside. This is awesome and the volume and base is fantastic. For a compact speaker this packs a punch!

It’s my Mother’s Day gift and I love it I love it I love it!!! It’s better than the one I asked for! It’s beautifully designed, can be loud enough for a party, and I can take it on the plane. I can put a USB stick in it with some ear plugs to listen to music by myself. Just masterly created!

I was skeptic base on sound quality. Shockingly, impressive. My purchase will be the boombox 4. I recommend.

Good product overall was satisfied with how comfortable it is to carry with the strap attachment it does leave a little to be desired with how loud it is.It’s not the loudest but overall a good product and I use it almost every time I go out and it last a very good while with charge.

I had the Flip 4 for a very very long time, I got it with my phone upgrade seven years ago. It just broke on me now, and I replaced it with this. I'm sure if the Flip 4's quality is anything to speak to, this speaker will last a long time too if taken care of. The speaker sounds fantastic, really good waterproofing, durable. And also did I mention it sounds *fantastic*.

I love the sound and the strap. But, beware this WILL NOT connect with all JBL. I have a jBl charge 4 (with the hourglass and plus sign) and they cannot link. Only other speakers with the infinity sign. The whole purpose of me buying was to link. Now i will have to get another one. I am not taking away stars for that because that was my fault and i was given wrong information. I didn’t really notice the symbols were slightly different.
