I had the previous version and I upgraded it to this one. Sound is a little better and louder, it is waterproof and nothing happens to it when you accidentally drop it.

Battery life is decent. Setup was super easy also has an app for syncing more speakers volume control and different eq settings. Comes with a heavy duty strap for carrying around and is extremely loud the bass has a deep sound due to the passive radiator design. JBL has done it once again.
