This is an amazing speaker! I pair up my charge 5 and extreme 3 for parry play all the time! The sound is clear and clean!

Overall I’m very satisfied with its performance, especially if I’m using it indoors. Outdoors it leaves a bit to be desired if you’re trying to entertain a campout or other larger event. At higher volume levels it sounds like it’s straining…and the bass gets lost. Poolside for you and 8 or 10 friends it’s perfect.

I got this speaker for $279. The sound is absolutely incredible for the money. A full charge lasts a very, very long time.

Love using this when at the beach or at the pool. It can be plenty loud with great battery life

been meaning to pick up a new speaker. i was tempted because of the price. but massive research. im glad i went with the jbl. sound quality was amazing. if you put it at the 'right angle near wall. the bass hit hard. it will thump

It’s big sound, long battery life, and ability to charge phones and other stuff. If you don’t plan on cranking it past 60% volume do your wallet a favor and just get the smaller one since it’s sound quality is almost identical.

Sound quality is tremendous. Volume levels extreme :-) battery life is fantastic. Would definitely recommend anyone looking to upgrade or make a first time purchase

I've purchased the line of JBL Xtremes. IMO they got everything right. You will not be disappointed. Complain about the price if you like but you won't find a other speaker that will match or outperform it.

This is a premium speaker. Big size for a loud, but high quality sound. Great for any use. I even have the charge 5 for my car. JBL overall is an excellent brand with great products

The speaker is decent. There's an app associated with it that allows you to make very basic sound adjustments. I wish it came with a case like some other speakers. Overall, I like it but wish it had more bass.

Extremely loud and powerful bass. Impressed with waterproof capabilities. Life of battery isn’t great when jamming at full volume but it’s understandable.

Upgraded from an older top model Bose speaker that quit on me after 8 years of heavy use. This JBL model is much louder, and the bass is fantastic. It’s also way more rugged, I’m very happy
