I purchased this for beach tunes. It's fantastic, but my son claimed it after unboxing. Our family adores JBL. He received one from IBM as a COVID appreciation token. That's the one pictured with him outdoors. Since he's not at home, the new purchase is with him, leaving only its box behind

I use this at home for a phone standalone speaker & it works well at any volume. The adjustable EQ is very handy.
