Convenient for outside or carrying around. Very loud, even in open spaces. Sun, water and dust proof.a little pricey but a quality product.

The JBL XTREME3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Black) is precisely what I was looking for. The sound is mighty, with rich, full bass and impressive clarity. I primarily use it connected to my computer to play accompaniment tracks while practicing violin, and it delivers effortlessly. In fact, the volume and projection are strong enough to overpower the violin when needed easily—an excellent speaker with far more power than I expected.

Great speaker for indoor and outdoor use. I use it a lot whne hosting gatherings at my place, great battery as well and sound.

JBL is one of the best speakers for sound for portable uses and this one is amazing, great sound, easy to transport around, waterproof too. Battery life is nice on this one too. Great speaker!

Color is super nice, super loud and powerful, they don't name Xtreme3 by coincidence, battery life is amazing, hours and hours of use, recharge is fast enough, sound quality is great, punchy bass, clear mids and a nice crisp high frequencies reproduction, superior sound, one of the best speakers I own. I love it.

Its a really nice bluetooth speaker. Not too big not too small, and it packs a punch too. I work in an industrial setting and can hear it with ear plugs in. Also love that it had a strap you can take it anywhere you want. Excellent battery life too. Would definitely recommend

Great Bluetooth speaker, we have purchased several Bluetooth speakers over the years and this is by far the best one we have purchased. Build quality of the speaker is durable and withstands everyday use, sound quality is even better! Still sounds just like it did the day we got it over a year later. Battery life is phenomenal. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

The Extreme 3 is a great sounding Bluetooth Speaker. This is my second JBL speaker I have purchased . My previous one is a Charge 4. The Extreme 3 Is about twice the size of my other one. It is a lot louder with more Base. I haven't compared the Battery life , but don't think it will be less. All around a good purchase.

I needed a speaker that was water proof and portable. I settled on JBL because it checked all the boxes. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that this speaker has a better sound and deeper bass than I expected. I was just planning on using it for work and work out sessions. I use it for everything now. The sound it awesome and useful for any purpose, such as, background noise for meditation and relaxing while reading. Not to mention shower tunes! I love this speaker!

Love this speaker, it’s super loud and crisp. The strap makes it easy to bring anywhere, it’s water/dust resistant which makes it perfect for just about anything. I use it for work, I can hear it clear as day over all of the other machines and stuff going on in the background. One feature that I absolutely love is the sort of power bank that’s built in, you can charge other devices with this bad Larry while you’re on the go! It’s a little pricey but I got it on sale, super happy with this purchase!

We love this speaker, and would buy again. We got it on sale and I wish we would have gotten two. You can use it with the JBL app, but it isn't needed. You can pair it with other JBL speakers. It sounds great, it's portable, and waterproof.

Great sound for such a small unit. Excellent bass response. Really happy with battery life. Overall appearance is very distinctive, and size and portability allows for wide range of placements in many locations throughout my home.

I already owned the JBL Charge 5 which is a surprisingly great little speaker. I work as an outdoor children's entertainer, and I needed a speaker with a bit more volume and bass than the Charge 5. Well this speaker delivers in that department for sure. It's got an overall more full sound for sure. But there is still something that I love about that Charge 5. The Charge 5 seems to have more clarity than this one, but I'm still preferring the Extreme 3 overall. My only real complaint about the Extreme 3 is that it doesn't come with a handle strap, only a shoulder strap. And there is no case like the the Charge 5 came with. JBL should sell a case AND handle strap as accessories if they can't afford to include them in the box. I ended up using my old bowling ball bag/case for the speaker, and buying a strap that I found on Amazon. This is an awkward speaker to pick up with one hand only, so it really should have come with a handle!

Super loud speaker with great bass sound. Easy to carry with an included strap. Best of all it is water proof.

This speaker blew my expectations! I love the fact it has a non slip strap to carry, and it is so loud! The music sounds so clear as well! I feel like the battery just lasts forever!

Bought this to put in my RZR when we go trail riding and this speaker is amazing! Can hear music perfectly over the winds and sounds of the engine! No problems with it being rained on or getting dusty, I really have put this speaker thru a lot. And the battery life is amazing as well! I recommend this speaker to all my side by side buddy’s. Very impressive speaker
