This speaker DELIVERS. I bought it to connect to a record player in a space where there isn’t room for bookshelf or larger speakers. The sound is amazing. I was so encouraged, I took the speaker along to an outdoor event. I played some music at regular volume and despite being in an outdoor venue, the music was enjoyable across the entire area without being deafening to sit beside. I am in love!

Awesome sound quality from a medium size speaker. This was a 4th purchase of JBL BT speakers. They all have excellent sound with deep rich bass. Excellent battery life also. A it’ll more expensive than other speakers but certainly worth the money. The only thing disappointed by was it won’t connect to my other JBL speaker Extreme 2. It only connects to the same exact model. Still very happy with it

The JBL Speaker has some really great sound and absolutely love the bass it has for a portable speaker. The other awesome positive is how I can also use this speaker as a portable charger whenever I forget to do so at home. The battery life is also great and can go for 3 days with my use without charge.

I have used this speaker nearly every day. It’s holds a charge for a long time. I have dropped it in the ocean while on a jet ski and it still works!!

Having previously owned the charge 4, decided to go for an upgrade and well its quite a change from a compact speaker to a more larger one, size does make a difference when it comes to range and sound quality. The extreme 3 is quite a performer, sound is amazing, bass notes are quite high and crisp. Its worth the buck for what you get, highly recommended.

It’s a great speaker. If you want it to be very loud hold the bt button and - button for 13-18 sec and the ring will blink it will turn base down and amplify speaker it’s crazy loud I’m in a over 90db area and you can hear it perfect

Sounds awesome, good battery life and easy to use. It blows my mind that it sounds so much bigger then it is with rich full sound.

This speaker is very solid. It is made well and is definitely water resistent, as it was used in a warm westher rain storm the very first weekend I made the purchase. It charges very quickly and I was able to get several hours of listening time over a two day weekend, without having to recharge it. The Bluetooth is very easy to set up and works very well even when walking around and not staying close to the speaker. The only downfall, if I can call it that, although the speaker has good bass...I expected it to be able to have a little more volume. It is a little quiet for the money. Overall, very solid piece and I am happy with the purchase.

I use this thing everywhere. Charge it up, crank it up and lose myself in the tunes. Easy to bring anywhere. Light, awesome base, clear sound and sleek modern appearance.

The speaker has strong bass and amazingly clear audio and vocals. The strap that comes with is handy when carrying it around. It is very durable and has great battery life.

Very good, it is loud and waterproof. Easy to take on adventures or to hang out at the park. It is long lasting and does not give any issues. The battery last a while compared to other speakers. Extremely event friendly. I completely recommend.

The sound is amazing and with the strap my daughter wears it while she bikes so everyone gets a bit of her taste in music. I have an older version but this one has incredible bass and is larger in size but not too big

I upgraded my JBL Extreme 2 for the JBL Extreme 3. The 3 has 5 watts more per channel than the 2,so it’s a little louder. The sound is more open than the 2,with less bass giving it more of a neutral sound. It’s also lighter than the 2. The only thing I’m upset about is that Best Buy increases the extended warranty from $49.99 to $89.99. I guess they were having a lot of returns before the 2 yr warranty expired. JBL really has to work on making a product that lasts,especially the battery which seems to always go bad after 2 yrs. I declined the warranty this time so if this speaker goes bad at the 2 yr mark I will be changing brands.
