Not to mention the app lacking EQ options. Honestly, the app is worthless IMO. I purchased this and the Sony XG300 and we kept the XG300. Side by side, the JBL sounded better out of the box, but after adjusting the low, medium and high sliders in the Sony app, I had them sounding identical. Difference is, the Sony's bass increased relative to the total volume as opposed to topping out at 70% like the JBL. And all this at a lower price. JBL, do better!

Great speaker to upgrade to from a smaller jbl

It was almost the same price as how much I paid for the flip 4 when it came out haha.

Convenient, portable,great sound.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great, reason for only 4 sta.rs is I only get about 7-8 hrs out of a charge.I do listen to harder more heavy music.I also keep the volume up pretty high as well.So maybe not too bad?I work 10 hrs a day.Need to charge before day is in.Also very nice to take outside as well.

Great speaker but nothing insane

It’s lackin bass tbh. But perfect for outside and amazing for casual listening but not a crazy speaker and it’s a little much for the lack of bass that it has. Maybe $300 flat would be better.
