FYI I got it for 220 on black friday 2023 before taxes so for price reference

JBL rocks!

Know to be able to handle the outdoor activities better than other portable speakers. This is literally like the 5 or 6 different speakers I own of these. And they all still work great, Highly recommend any of them.

Almost Xtreme

But I thought one LBJ Xtreme 3 would be as good, and less hassle than messing with two smaller speakers. The Xtreme wasn't extreme. It was good, but the two Charge 5 sounded better, so back I went to Best Buy to exchange the Xtreme 3 back in for two Charge 5's, and am very happy with final result. Glad I bought at local Best Buy.

We use this a lot for music and audiobooks. It is robust (read: NOT fragile), but it isn't too heavy for carrying around the house and out of doors.
