So portability is grest because even though its big you got your strap throw it over your shoulder and you forget its there, loudness is perfect you might have to put the treble mids and bass up on the app, and switch your phones music to last night and it blasts for sure, bass is great when you have the mids and trebles all the way down (bass all the way up) battery is great, and quality is crystal clear love this speaker, i wouldnt pay 379 i would wait for a sale, mine was 229, take it to work everyday!

I didn’t get to test a demo model in store so the whole unit is a complete surprise. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. It comes with a carrying strap and it’s because it’s that big. The strap works perfect and it is very important part of the speaker. The photo shows the size next to a standard pen. The battery life is great and compared to other speakers I’ve owned even JBL models it last a very long time. The Bluetooth link up is super easy and after you turn it on the link up is instantaneously. The sound quality is what you would expect from JBL. The bass is very noticeable and the highs are crisp. I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s not very loud. Don’t get me wrong it’s loud but due to the size of it you would think it would be louder. I’ve had several JBL charges and for the size they are loud. Comparing to the Charge and the name Extreme this things should be LOUD but it’s not. If I was able to test it before I purchased it I probably would have looked into louder units.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. He wanted something portable for both the house and travel. Sound is great. Battery life has held up well so far. It's light enough to be absconded by a 4 year old who desperately wants to test its water resistance. Thankfully we haven't had to test out that feature just yet.

This thing is awesome! Still very portable. The strap is awesome. My girlfriend has been taking it with her to work, and it fills her restaurant with music while preping. The battery last pretty long even at loud volume levels. 10/10 would recommend!

One of the best speakers I own. The Xtreme 3 will your small gathering (6 to 10 people) with sound and bass. Very well designed for rugged use in any environment. Portability is great with the carrying strap, its not a very big speaker which makes it lightweight as well. The sound has been updated for a more brighter signature with crisp highs and deep lows. The only negative thing would be battery life, JBL did not really improve in this from its previous generation. A minimum of 20hrs for a speaker this size would be ideal. Other than that, this is the only speaker you'll need, I recommend it 100%

Had the JBL flip 2 or similar, lasted me like 7 years so I knew i was going to stick with JBL, if this one can last as long its worth the money, hits harder obviously than the smaller one but overall it sounds great.

Speaker is great always loved the jbl sound quality 350 dollars is a little to much for this speaker it use to be 300 for the xtreme models but guess they up the price on them everything is basically the same as the xtreme 2 just the xtreme 3 has better control over the bass where the bass isn't overpowering the sound it's more balanced Xtreme 3 •louder •balanced Xtreme 2 • slightly more bass • bass can overpower sound witch can make the sound less

Love it!! Upgraded from a old bose soundlink ii. Night n day difference. Much better sound quality, water n shock proof and almost double the battery life.

This item is worth the price I use it for football games on the field and partying at home. The battery never goes out. The sound is unbelievable. Very loud and crystal clear.

I love everything about this bluetooth speaker, although there is one thing i would like to change personally which is to constantly have the batery percent light to be on but that is just personal preference. Sounds great even in very large spaces which is why i love taking it to work. At work it takes a decent beating by falling off tall shelves and lots of metal dust and it looks and sounds just as if it was right out the box. The jbl extreme 3 is just a great product overal and sounds great which is why i gave it a 5/5

Speaker is great, I had a blue extreme 3 at one time I bought from Best Buy, turned around and came to buy another. I love this speaker and works very well. I dropped my blue one in a 10ft pool and still came out to work well. Love the quality, and love the speaker

Amazing clarity with some nice little oomph of bass for a little/medium-ish speaker. Dusk and water proof are a big plus. Doesn't float so get it a lifejacket!

One of the best speakers I’ve ever had, used it as a replacement for my car stereo as it was not working. Was just as loud.
