He said it has more power and can go faster then ones our friends own. He said pedal assist is awesome especially going up hill. Gives it a little extra boost. Some reviewers complained about the seat tilted at a weird angle. Seat is adjustable to change the angle by lessening the bolt under the seat. Overall he loves it for tootaling around in his little bike club at midnight around the campground. Wish it had a headlight. We just bought an aftermarket one and attached it

Its a good sized bike almost like a bmx bike, the handle and pedals being foldable saves lot of space and makes it easier to carry at only 40lbs. Not mentioned is the cool function of wheels getting locked when the handle is folded. Im 210 lbs and this bike can handle my weight and can handle a few groceries on the back. In the city this bike is fast. I love the pedaling assistance which can boost your speeds up. Going up a steep hill without pedaling can go slow but it will get you there but qith the pedaling it makes it a breeze! Takes it easy on your asthma. The wheels are also small but durable but doesn't have much suspension. Fair warning when u buy this make sure to remove tags around the brake cables so its not too tight to pop off the brake thingy on the bike. Also peoples say the bike gets hard to pedal without charge, but i havent had that problem yet. I've only had it charged but when i ride and its off it rides like a regular bike. It's likely you will enjoy at this price.

One thing I wish is that I didn't have to constantly hold on to the piece on the handlebar to make it go.

The J5 has both a twist throttle and pedals with pedal assist, so if you don't like holding the throttle, you can pedal your bike just as you would a traditional bike!

I use the peddles a bit more than the motor but its fast and strong. Comfortable ride and so compactful that it fits perfectly in the trunk of my elantra n. Light weight and easy to use for anyone just be careful because it does kick on fast and ive almost did a wheelie on it first couple times riding it.

Great starter bike for kids

Battery last for a decent amount of time and charges it up overnight so he can ride to school the next day. I added a brake light and an headlight which makes it more safer to drive at night. All of his friends love his bike and he loves using it. Nothing to say bad about bike and we have had the bike for 4 months

He uses it to scoot around the neighborhood and make small runs to the grocery store. Keeps charge great and pulls pretty decent hills. Very happy with this purchase.
