I'm really enjoying my new Jlabs. There are a lot better than the last ones that I had. I workout a lot and hated it when my headphones fell out in. These are really secure and comfortable as well. Highly recommend!

Robust & versatile earphones that will last

Verdict: There are many things to really like about these JLAB sports earphones: awesome battery life, nice big robust case with wireless charging capability, and a heavy-duty design that looks like it will endure any sports activity. I broke my last pair of true-wireless earphones when I dropped them. I don’t see that happening with these JLABs. App. All earphones nowadays come with an app. The JLAB app is actually useful!! It allows you to fine tune your ANC and hear-through levels, it provides a decent equalizer, and most impressively, it allows for full customization of the touch controls, including full deactivation. The app also takes care of all your updates. Music. Overall music quality is great. It’s hard to complain about quality with something this size. I think the performance is pretty solid across the range. I appreciate the easy access to equalizer presets by triple tapping the right earphone. I prefer the bass boost EQ as it provides a fuller sound. The bass quality on these is better than my other earphones of this size. Exercise. I used these headphones for a 30 min run. They stayed perfectly in place once I changed the rubber adapters to correctly fit my ears. The ear arches definitely help to keep the earphones in on higher impact exercises, and give me the confidence to use these for everything, including mountain biking. I did not find that the Active Noise Cancellation provided any additional benefits for a running work out. Of note, it is not easy to use the earphone controls while running. Controls. I find that the best way to use the controls is to first place your thumb at the bottom of the part of the earphone that goes into your ear, and then naturally rest your index finger on the button and tap as required. For volume, I find more success sliding my index finger down across the button several times in a row, instead of tapping. I find the controls a little hard to use, but once you memorize the button sequences and you get used to finding the button on each side it works ok. I think the control buttons are the only aspect of the earphones that I dislike. Active Noise Cancellation. ANC is a niece to have feature, but I couldn’t really tell the difference when it was on and off in most instances of normal use. I think that it’s because the passive noise cancellation design of these earphones is excellent. When I put them on snuggly, the noise level is already drastically reduced without resorting to ANC. To test the capabilities of ANC, it is easier to adjust the ANC level with the app, and try to toggle ANC on and off while talking in a really quiet area. You will be able to notice the difference in the volume of your voice. Things I love: - Visible LED lights on the case that quickly provide battery life and charging status - Definitely a secure fit that gives me the confidence to use these for all exercises - Passive noise cancellation is excellent on these. Really doesn’t require ANC - Very easy setup; seamless. Also, I haven’t lost BT connection even once since getting these - Range is very good. I’ve walked as far as 50’ from my phone without losing connection - I love that these auto-turn on and auto-connect when removed from the case - Music sound quality is great for this size earphones - Phone call quality was fine, no issues - Auto-pause function when you remove an earphone is very neat. - 70 hours of battery life!! - Wireless charging for the case is awesome! - Voice assistant works well when activated by double tapping the left earphone - Very impressive app. The ability to customize all controls is exceptional. Thank you for that! Things I don’t love: - The controls are a little problematic for me. I would prefer a button with tactile feedback. I make a lot of mistakes trying to control these. Maybe I will get use to them - With the preset controls, there is no way to go back to previous track. Normally this is not a big deal, but since I make mistakes with the controls, I sometimes have to do this. Also, when you are working out, sometimes you want to repeat a motivating song. This can actually be fixed with the app. You can customize all touch controls in the app, which is a nice feature - I need hear through to be accessible much faster. It should be the very next option after ANC. When you need hear-through, you need it immediately. These earphones require maybe 4 seconds to locate the button and go through turning off ANC, and then getting to hear through - It would have been nice to have an additional charging port to allow USB-C, in addition to the wireless and USB cable option Conclusion. This is a solid option for heavy duty exercise earphones. Despite the awkwardness of the control buttons, I love these because I feel that I can put them through anything, they will be charged when I need them, and they will last through several hours of use. And the sound is really great. Overall, I would give these 4.5 stars. If you use a smart watch to control your music, these would be a 5-star experience for you. I do recommend them.

Heavy duty but too heavy, ear loops not adjustable

First time trying wireless ear buds. Never had much luck with any in-ear headphones, they always fall out. And so the appeal with these was the over the ear loop. I have a wired pair with them and they stay in pretty good but I rarely use them. The second appeal with these is being able to use them as a blue tooth to answer calls. They were kind of heave in my ears and the noise cancelling function was a bit strange sounding. I never got use to the various touch or hand motion commands where you can touch or tap these ear buds to skip ahead a track or change the noise cancelling function or change the volume. The main problem I have with these, beside the weight of them, is the over the ear loop is not adjustable and the angle of the in ear speaker is strange. There was a gap in the ear loop to my ear that was not rectifiable. No adjusting it. No way to make them hug my ear any better. I am including as many photos to show these angles as I can. The other draw back was the USB cable on the case is very short and was problematic when plugging it in to charge. I found it easier to just plug it straight into a battery pack rather than my laptop or an outlet adapter. Other features were nice, the various functions, being somewhat heavy duty, water resistant, etc. While they do feel heavy duty though, the weight in my ear was not pleasant. Even if the ear loops were adjustable, I probably would not have kept them.

This is by far the best bang for the buck. Fit is great, sound is great, and the Active Noise Canceling works very well. The amazing part is that all these features are offered for a fraction of what most other companies charge. Right out the box, they were a breeze to pair. I downloaded the app, and there was already an update for the earbuds. I love that they will be offering more updates. I went with the cloud foam ear tips, and wow! They are extremely comfortable, and the seal is rather good. It blocks out most ambient sound even with the ANC off. The case is small considering these are sport earbuds with the ear hooks. I love that it supports wireless charging and has a built-in wired USB-A cable tucked under the case. Sound is particularly good. I have been using a few other Bluetooth headphones from various brands all costing considerably more than these. Honestly, sound quality is on par with those other earbuds. I love that the app also offers an EQ with a few preset and gives the user the option to really dial in the sound to their taste. I have left it on the JLab Signature EQ and have been incredibly happy with that. That brings me back to the app. The app is where you will find a huge assortment of customizations. You can adjust the ANC level, and the Be Aware level. Both features work extremely well. The ANC works on the same level as my AirPods Pro, and the Be Aware feature also works as good as the Transparency mode on those other earbuds. The plus side here again, is that you can dial how strong either the ANC or the Be Aware features work. I love this. The app also allows you to completely tweak the touch controls. You can stay with their default modes or completely customize what each tap, multi tap, or long press does on each side. Finally, other than the updates being controlled within the app, the last toggle you can customize is the auto play/pause sensor. I leave this on because I love when I pop one of the earbuds out to listen to something around me, my music, audiobook, or podcast pauses, and then resumes as soon as I pop it back in my ear. The last thing I think is important to note on these earbuds is the Sport aspect. I have gone on 4 runs since I received these, ranging between 4 – 9 miles and I can say that they handle each run without any issues. The battery is insane, and I have yet to come close to depleting them. The hooks keep them secure on my ears; I am not worried about them falling out at all. The high IP rating gives me peace of mind that my sweat during these runs will not ruin them. When I ran on my treadmill, I used the ANC to drown out the noise of the treadmill, when I ran outside I left the Be Aware feature on so that I could hear what was happening around me. Both times the feature worked without any hiccups and helped me enjoy my run. These are an easy recommendation for anyone wanting quality earbuds with so many amazing features and great sound. The ANC and Be Aware features are top notch, I would not say on par with around-the-ear headphones, but great compared to other earbuds offering ANC. The sound quality is great and can be customized. The battery life is extremely high and the build quality for both case and earbuds are great. When you add in the wireless charging, built-in wired cable and app features, these are quickly becoming my go to earbuds for just about any occasion.

The JLAB wireless earbuds work as expected. The volume is fine for listening to music while on the elliptical, which is mainly what I use them for. I find the very short USB male connection awkward, though it works fine. I have another brand that uses a USB-C female connection which I prefer

If you are looking for amazing earbuds that stay put, noise canceling, active noise control, wireless charging and sweatproof just to mention a few, but are not looking to spend a lot of money then look no further. JLAB EPIC AIR SPORT ANC are great earbuds that sound good, are packed with tons of features and actually give you active noise control for a very reasonable price. These have become my new favorite earbuds. So let’s go over some of the features, sounds quality and things that need some improvement. So as I write this review I currently have my earbuds in and listening to some music and I cant hear a thing around me which is awesome, but what I did notice was that the noise canceling works best with the provided “Cloud Foam” ear tips they also make wearing the ear buds more comfortable, almost as if you don’t have them in and finally they keep them in place. So, thumbs up for the ear tips and the active noise control. The Epic Air Sport ANC are packed with features such as touch controls, Active noise control, Wireless + Usb charging case, IR wear detect senor, dual connect, calling, movie mode, AIR ANC APP and finally IP66 sweatproof. Touch Control- The touch controls on the earbuds work great for volume control, answering phone calls, and even brining up your virtual assistant on your phone. You are also able customize the touch controls to fit your needs. Active Nose Control- The active noise control on these earbuds work great along with the “Be Aware” option which lets you hear ambient sound around you so that you’re not completely absent but these options worked the best with the cloud foam ear tips. Wireless and USB Charging- When I first opened the packaging, I thought I was missing a charging cable until I started to look for the charging port and found built in charging cable under the case, with a perfect fit, along with the wireless charging symbol. Although the charging cable is a bit short, but it alleviates you from carrying around a charging cable with you and with the wireless charging you don’t even need to worry the length of the cable. IR Wear Detect Sensor- There are tiny infrared sensors built into each bud which allows you to automatically pause and play your music when you take them out and put them back in. Dual Connect- The dual connect option allows you to connect either one for both of the earbuds. Both earbuds have microphones built in so each one can be used independently. So, in case you lose one, you can still use the other one. FIT and Sweatproof- These earbuds stay put while working out and are so easy on the ears. I have owned other pairs of earbuds where they start hurting after a while but honestly I had no issues with these. The cloud foam tip made the experience even better. The ANC APP Now this is where I had some issues. The App is nice and it’s a great way to customize the touch controls, control the levels of Active Noise control and ambient noise, control the equalizer. Where I had my issues was with the update. Even though the app was showing me that I had an update and every time I tried to perform the update nothing happened or I got an error, but no big deal, the ear buds still fit great and performed well. All in all, solid earbuds for the price. I would highly recommended anyone looking for earbuds to check these out. You will not be disappointed.

This is my second pair of JLab earbuds, and at least my 6th pair overall. It’s been difficult to find a single pair that could do everything I desire- sound great, wear comfortably, endure workouts (perspiration and stay in place), control easily, hold a decent charge and look good. This pair does it all. They come up short on one category - controls and added a component that will only get better - customization via an app. The build quality is nice, the Epic Air Sport ANC True Wireless Earbuds (Quite a name) feel durable and of high quality, yet are light and comfortable on and in my ears. They are packaged with several cushions of varying materials and sizes so you can find the right fit. The charging case is a bit large, but also durable, and is no doubt the secret to the battery life. A nice touch- it features a permanently connected standard USB “cable”. No searching for another cable (nor having ANOTHER cable!). It has 4 LEDs on the exterior that tell you it’s charging and how much battery is remaining. They pair easily, but you can only have them paired to play to a single device at a time. Not a huge deal to me. The app was a great surprise. Customizations include: +Noice Canceling level +Be Aware sensitivity (passes through ambient sounds. Important for when you’re out and about) +Pre-set and Adjustable Equlization +Left and Right Earbud button control settings Most important, they sound really good. I listen to a lot of podcasts and there’s nothing more frustrating than poorly reproduced voices when listening to someone talk for 2 hours. I also enjoy a wide range of music genres: everything from instrumental Jazz to Alt to Hard Rock. Nice bass range, Treble that handled most of what I could through and of course, good mid-range. Finally, the over-the-ear loops performed well. COVID makes them frustrating if you have to wear a mask, but it’s not a design flaw at all. Super pleased with the product, and the price is really, really good.

I don't have really have much negative to say about these earbuds. They sound great, fit great, and have some great features. My biggest negative is really just about the Active Noise Cancelling feature. It's just not that great and outside noises don't sound much different with it on or off. Most noticeable thing about it when it's turned on is the static it creates, so you can't really use these solely for noise cancelling, it just works better when you're actually listening to something too. There's a reason small ear buds aren't really known for this feature, and its cool that JLab is trying with these, but there's still room for improvement. That's it though as far as negatives go. The sound coming out of these is of amazing quality, and with the added benefit of the equalizer that comes with the app, can be tailored to whatever your preferences are. The bass hits really hard too for little earbuds when you turn it up. The design of these Sport buds makes it so you never have to worry about them falling out and fit very comfortably. I actually have these and the non-sport version, and even though these are a little bit heavier, because part of it wraps around your ear I found these a lot more comfortable and natural feeling. Pick out the right size tip (of which these include a large selection) and you'll barely notice these. The touch controls work really well too, but best of all, you can change the controls with the app, making learning what side to press and how much simpler. And speaking of sides, one of my favorite aspect of these is that you can grab just one side if you want and it'll work. But not just one specific side, either one. Whether you prefer just the left or just the right, each will connect just the same and work on its own. Everything else works great too. The battery lasts a long time, and even longer with the charging case. The case is a bit bigger due to the style of the sport buds but can still fit inside a pocket comfortably. The charging cable is built in to the case so you never have to worry about leaving home without it. The overall weight isn't very much so even with the short cable it can easily dangle from a charging block plugged into a wall. The in-ear sensors not only turn the sound off and on, they actually automatically pause and restart the music or video you're watching. The mics work well enough that I'm able to take calls and haven't had any issues with people not hearing me. The only time it gets a little sketchy is when there's a LOT of external noise like driving on a noisy freeway. Overall I really like these earbuds and use them a lot. They're super comfortable and sound awesome. The noise cancelling feature isn't something I look for in earbuds anyway so for me, these are still worth 5 stars and I would easily recommend them.

Jlab Epic Air Sport ANC True Wireless earbuds are the perfect lightweight earbuds for on the go. Was quite excited to review these earbuds since I have never had true wireless earbuds and heard many things about them. The earbuds come with 6 different sized ear tips including the exclusive “cloud foam” tips. My favorite ear tips are the cloud foam tips since they expand in the ear to create the best seal. The earbuds fit snugly even during prolonged exercises thanks to the earhook which fits around your ear. Noticed immediately the incredible lightness of the product with each earbud only weighing 10 grams. Setup is simple, the earbuds connect right out of the box and I have had no trouble with them randomly disconnecting. A great feature is a sensor that detects when the earbuds are not in your ear and it automatically pauses your music, nice. It took me a few tries to get used to the tap gestures with the touch sensors, but after practicing they became second nature. Audio is the most impressive feature of these buds with drivers that can go from 20hz to 20kHz. Even at the maximum volume of 110 decibels the audio is still crisp and clear. The instrument separation is incredible and sounds extraordinarily good in VR gaming. The bass is punchy but never drowns out the other sounds. Touch gestures allow easy access to a few EQ presets such as balanced, bass boost, and Jlab signature. Through the optional Jlab Air ANC app, you can create your own EQ preset which is a welcome feature. The active noise cancellation is a big selling point of these earbuds and they certainly delivered. The “Smart active noise cancellation” uses 6 microphones (3 in each earbud) to lessen the pressure commonly felt on your ears while using active noise cancellation. This feature works very well, with having the least amount of “eardrum suck” out of any active noise canceling device I have tried. Be aware that the noise cancellation does not completely block out ambient sounds, as some still seeps in. But playing music drowns out the noise even more. There are three noise cancelation options which are, ANC on, ANC off, and Be Aware. All of which are easily accessible through the touch gestures. I especially like Be Aware, since it boosts surrounding noise to raise awareness to cars passing while on a run. The battery life is another stunning feature of these earbuds. They can last 11-15 hours (depending if ANC is on) on a single charge, and the carrying case holds an additional 55 hours of charge. Approximately 70 hours of playtime before having to think of recharging again. The earbuds and case have relatively quick charging times (3 and 3.5 hours respectively). The carrying case is made from a high-quality matte plastic which feels nice to the touch. It has 4 LEDs on the front to display charge levels and a solid magnetic lid. Wireless charging of the case defines what it means to be truly wireless, yet still has an integrated USB Type A port. Jlab Epic Air Sport ANC True Wireless are exceptional earbuds which checks all the right boxes.
