I may be partial to the name brand but these have things that one doesn't but also they have things this one doesn't. Get these if on a budget, worth it.

I have a house full of teenagers often and I can still hear them with the buds in! Also not certain what the “be aware” prompt means - it’s just annoying. Maybe I went to too many concerts in my younger days and I’m hard of hearing, but I would definitely expect more volume. I’m about to steal my son’s Beats which are perfect! (Just kidding- won’t take his cooler stuff away from him). Regardless this doesn’t compare to the Beats volume.

Posted .Hey there! "be aware" mode is when the noise cancelling turns off and amplifies sounds around you so you can hear what's going on. I would make sure that is turned off and that will certainly increase the volume of your earbuds. -JLab Audio

Fortunately, I was proven wrong and have enjoyed every aspect of these since I purchase them. The amount of features and extra peripherals that are included right out of the box are excellent.

They are similar or same as the competitors. The price point, for music and maybe gaming, is great. Use one or both at the same time. Share one ear bud and listen to the same music together.

I love the fact that I can use them independently. So I run with one and my son runs with the other and we both listen to music. Only down side is the touch controls kind of suck.
