These Jlabs work suprisingly well. At this price point I was expecting something completely different than what I got.

Sound quality is good, pairs well to the phone. Battery life is a lie. Says 10-12 hours with use, no case needed. Mine last about 6-8 hours.

Today I am reviewing the JLab Epic Air Sport earbuds. In my testing, I used them with various music genres using Apple Music as the source on my iPhone and iPad. First Impression: My initial impression of these earbuds is that they are well made and well packaged. The earbuds come with 7 sets of varying sizes to get a solid fit in the ear. The charging case is solid, well made, large enough to not get lost, and small enough to easily carry. The built-in USB cord for charging is molded into the case and is a very smart design. By having it built-in, you will always have a charging cord available, but the flat-cable design embeds it into the case so it doesn’t get snagged or damaged like a typical attached cable. Fit: I went through the included ear tips and selected the ones that fit the best. These ear buds include a rubber ear clip that helps hold it in the ear. The ear clip does a good job of holding the ear bud in place while working out. I even shook my head while holding it sideways, and the ear bud stayed in place. While testing them, I left them in place to see how comfortable they were while being used for an extended period of time. My ears never felt tired or sore from extended use. Quality: The headphones are very well made. They feel solid and comfortable at the same time. The touch sensors on the earbuds also feel solid. The larger than normal touch surface makes it easy to use while working out. The charging case is also very solid. The door hinge is strong and doesn’t have any play. Both the door and the ear buds are held in place by magnets, and the magnets are strong and hold both very well. The blue power level indicators are bright and easy to see. Charging/pairing: I started with charging them in the case. Charging took about an hour. So far, I have around 8 hours on the ear buds and I haven’t had to recharge yet, but I am down to a single blue light on each ear bud. When the earbuds are charging, you can see the status with nice blue LEDs. After charging, I started the pairing process and they immediately showed up in the BT list on my iPhone and paired right away. I had the same result pairing them to my iPad and my wife’s Samsung A20 phone. App: These earbuds use an app called JLab Air ANC, available for Android and iOS. I reviewed this app while reviewing the JLab Epic Air ANC ear buds. My opinion on the app remains the same while using these ear buds. From my original review: “The app provides status on the earbuds and complete control of them. You can adjust the settings for noise cancellation and Be Aware status, create 4 custom eq settings for personalized sound quality, customize the button pushes to do what you want them to do, and update the earbuds. The app is easy to navigate, and probably one of the best earbud apps I have had the pleasure of using.” The only thing that didn’t go as expected was an update through the app on my iPhone. The app showed an update available to improve mic performance and auto play/pause performance. I was unable to get the update to install. I even updated the app itself but couldn’t get the update for the ear buds to start. Sound quality: To me the sound quality out of the gate had really good audio with voice, such as with a phone or audio books, and ok with music. With multiple genres, I found the sound quality was flat. However, the equalizer in the app does a really good job at adjusting the sound quality. You can change any or all of the presets and save your changes. Once you have created the presets, you can easily cycle through them using the touch sensors on the ear buds. Conclusion: I like these earbuds. They are well made and good sounding earbuds. Once tuned with the app, they sound really nice. I especially liked the app, very powerful and easy to navigate. The noise cancellation and Be Aware modes worked beautifully and controlling everything through the split surface touch sensors gives you complete control of the ear buds. I recommend these ear buds.

For $80 I was expecting much better quality but was disappointed with the sound. I've found much better sound quality with SkullCandy Push Active headphones and at a lower price. I did however like the direct charging wire integrated with the case design - that's a plus

Good Headphones quality wise. Only thing is if you are using with your phone and want to use with other device you have to use forget the device you previously used with.
