Bought them for running. So far, so good. Sweat hasn't destroyed them yet, but they are a little too sensitive with my phone and that gets annoying from time to time.

Just for starters, this will be my second pair of completely wireless headphones and probably my last for a while. The comfort for me is great. I have small ears, so most earbuds hurt my ears but I am on my third hour of wearing and I can barely tell they are there. Sound, pretty darn good! I have worn many top of the line headphones and these can stand pretty close to those. The right amount of bass and treble with normal settings on Apple Music. They actually make me want to listen to music more now. I would like to also add that these headphones are completely noise cancelling. I can't hear anything around me while listening, which is great for me! Connectivity. This is very important to me because I have a two level home and most of the time I am not wearing clothes with pockets, so I don't want to carry my phone with me everywhere. I attempted to walk throughout the house and sad to say I lost connectivity in about 20 feet. Not a deal breaker for me but maybe for others. Once your back in range, it came back on and continued to play. Also, to switch bluetooth devices was a little rough for me. You have to push the small button on the inside of the headphone and then when the white light comes on, double tap and you able to switch to a different device. I was not able to get this but my 13 year old daughter did it flawlessly. Practice makes perfect. Battery. The product comes with a charging box. The flap to open is really thin, so be careful when opening. On the top of the box is a button to tell you how much battery life the case has. The best part for me about the case, the charging cord, which wraps around the box!!!!!!! I love this! I am constantly trying to keep up with cords and this cord attaches to the box. The best feature overall for me for these headphones! A little note, I really wish that there was a headphone symbol on my device with the battery level like I see on other headphones. That would be a great addition but not a deal breaker. Would I buy these headphones again, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! Would I recommend to friends or family, ABSOLUTELY!!!!!

    Look! No Wires!

The first ear buds I’ve seen with absolutely no wires to connect them together. They are extremely light and I’d be worried about them falling out and disappearing (especially when jogging in the dark) but the rubber ear hooks keep them firmly in your ears. The solid case they come in is really exceptional. The batteries should last 5 hours on a charge, but this hard case that you keep the ear buds in contain a storage battery that will keep them going for another 30 hours or so. You can also use the case to charge up a smartphone or any other device charged by a mini USB. The fact that the rubber charging cable is actually a part of the case means you’ll never misplace it. The wireless ear bud system is truly revolutionary, but that means there’s a slight learning curve. Trust me, you’ll NEED to read the included instructions to pair them with your phone or music player. It took some trial and error, unlike most newer Bluetooth devices but after rereading everything it’s all working fine now. They pair just fine each time now without any hassle. A couple of ‘cons;’ because the ear buds are small and not connected, and once again you’ll need the instructions to get to know your new buds, it’s really easy to accidentally skip ahead or back, turn the volume up or down when you don’t really want to by just touching the buds to adjust them in your ears. I’m sure I’ll learn to avoid that happening as I get used to them. Also for some reason the LEFT bud goes into the RIGHT side of the case, and vice versa. Since you need to make sure they’re going into the correct ear, both for fit and because the button on each controls different playback functions this takes getting used to as well. Bottom line, if you’re looking for good sound with absolutely no wires, long lasting listening between charges and don’t mind the ‘learning curve’ for these buds, I think you’ll enjoy owning these.

    Disappoing "totally wireless" headphones

Summary: The Epic Air headphones sound good, but comfort, size, weight and charging case issues left me disappointed. Background: I've used several sets of Bluetooth wireless headphones over the past three years, but they've all involved a "horsecollar," a wire connecting the left and right earpieces, or a traditional "over the head" design. I've also had an extensive collection of wired headphones, from in-ear monitors to mid-range over-the-ear phones. Headphones were tested with an Apple iPhone 7, using Amazon Music set to high quality. The Good: Once you get correct the ear hooks and ear gels selected, the Epic Airs actually sound quite good, with detailed bass and clean highs. Clean highs are a particular accomplishment, as several other bluetooth headphones lack detail in the high frequencies, or had audible aliasing or distortion. Battery life is good for this type of headphone, lasting four-six hours depending on volume, type of music, distance to audio source, etc. Includes a unique self-storing USB cable that wraps around the charging case. The Bad: Takes some experimentation to get the correct ear gels selected, though this is a problem common to any headphones that use an in-ear monitor type design. The Ugly: While the ear gels and hooks have a conventional fit, the Epic Airs have a large "body" that I found pushed uncomfortably against the back of my ear. Unfortunately, I could not get an arrangement of ear hooks the allowed them to fit comfortably into my ears. The earpieces are also surprisingly heavy, weighing noticeably more than other JLab headphones with a connecting cable between the left and right earpieces. The charging case is also fairly bulky compared to other totally wireless headphones (due to the design of the Epic Air earpieces); annoyingly, the battery level indicator on the case didn't work, so I never knew how much charge it had left.

Quirky design with odd controls. Every time you press the ear bud back into your ear it changes something (volume, song)
