Multiple pairs multiple problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these because they were extremely comfortable and have excellent battery life. However the first pair I bought the left one would not turn on. Best buy let me exchange it, and I wasn't disappointed because I figured, ”hey these are 150 dollar earbuds so I probably got one of the rare bad sets". Boy was I wrong, both of the buds in my second pair turn on but the charger will not charge. So of course my bud battery life is literally just seconds because I cannot charge them. Two pairs in two days and haven't been able to use them at all. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of these very expensive earbuds. I'm exchanging them again but this time for a different brand.

AWFUL connection; great sound/fit/battery/case
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed- connection between the earbuds is so poor and unreliable that this item isn't useful to exercise in, despite all the hype about their awesome new BT technology. These constantly stop my music, beeping and telling me "earbuds connected" only to have no sound coming out of the second earbud, and to do the same thing every 45 seconds or so. A real shame because these are very comfortable with great sound, and I like the charging case. I had the first version of the Epic BT earbuds from JLab; they also had a terribly poor connection that made them barely-usable. I replaced them with some very cheap Photive buds that had a far better connection and comparable sound/battery. The connection isn't even reliable when sitting still at my desk. Done with JLab after this letdown.

Great fit, very comfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.But...and this was a HUGE issue for me. I would have rated higher otherwise. I researched all of the brands Best Buy sells and based on mostly positive comments from others who have purchased these JLab earbuds I went with the Epic Air. I wanted truly wireless Bluetooth earphones for doing yardwork using my iPod Nano (7th generation) that has built in Bluetooth. With wired headphones they sometimes get caught on the mower handle or some other hazard. I get the headphones as a Christmas gift and I complete the recommended 40 hour burn in per the instructions. You can get the app for your Android or iPhone from JLab that has a burn in tool feature. At 30 hours of burn in, the app stops working. It won't run past the opening page. After a couple of days, it starts working again and I get the 40 hours burn in time completed this past weekend. So, the first time I try to use them for music, I test them with my Nano, I get the Bluetooth paired, the headphones tell me I have medium power (50% charged) and I start listening to music. After about 5-10 minutes the headphones auto power off. This happens a couple of times again after powering the headphones back on and bluetooth re-pairing. I call JLab Customer Support and I am informed the headphones are not compatible with my Nano as the Bluetooth is not compatible, even though the JLab website states the Epic Air are compatible with Shuffle, Nano and Touch iPods. JLab Customer Service rep states they just found out a few days ago. It is sugested I contact Apple to see if they can upgrade the Nano Bluetooth to Bluetooth 4.2 Standard (I am sure they will get right on that especially since they have stopped production of the iPods now). Now I am testing on my phone per Best Buy Associate to see if the headphones will power off when paired with my Android phone. I listen to 2 hours of a favorite podcast and they work fine. I am now re-checking on my Nano. They played about 10 minutes and then I heard "Goodbye"...they auto powered off. I love the sound, the charging case, the fit and the feel, but I bought them to use with my Nano and not my phone. Looks like they will be going back to exchange for something else, which I hate, because I really love these earbuds. Don't bother buying them if you plan to use with an Apple iPod.

bluetooth connection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love everything about the product great fit very good sound and free of wires. I have used them for a week now trying to find a reason to keep them but the poor bluetooth connection is a deal breaker. I literally have my phone in my pocket and get very frequent sound drops. and the idea of keeping my phone on the side and playing basket ball is not even an option. if you can fix the connection you have a great product.

Everything I expected!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things rock! They are perfect for being active, super comfy and stay where they’re supposed to. They sound really good for earbuds. No, they don’t have hi-end over-ear sound, but I wasn’t expecting that. I don’t understand all the negativity in some of these reviews but since they just came out, maybe they didn’t take the time to understand how to use them. One earbud connects through Bluetooth and the other pairs to the first. You can do either step with either earbud, but maybe they tried to connect both of them to their phones? The touch buttons are super easy to use too. No regrets here!

Great Earbuds!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for true wireless earbud for some time now. Saw these on JLabs site and have been waiting and waiting! Received my Best Buy notice that they were available and immediately ordered them. Picked them up this past Sunday, used them all day Sunday, Monday at work and then for a run Monday evening. While the sound quality is not excellent, it is sufficient for me. I am no audio geek so bass, treble and mids have no influence on my decision. I just want to hear the music. These buds are comfortable, secure and have worked flawlessly for me. When I run, indoors or out, I like to only wear one earbud so I can hear my surroundings with my other ear. These buds pair quickly enough that I have no issues switching which bud is paired as the main and using just that one when listening to my music. I have been as much as 25-30 yards from my phone at work and have not lost my connection! I have had none of the connectivity issues that others have mentioned. In my opinion, this is a great paid of true wireless buds!!

Pleasantly Surprised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was kind of hesitant at first because I've had bad luck with ALOT of wireless headphones, but this one has actually held up pretty deeeeeecent. I use it at work, when I go riding on the weekend and I'm a fairly active person, so the fit in my ear was a worry too.. my ear gets really sore with some earbuds and this one is comfortable for longer periods of time, so I'm a happy camper. The charging case is a pretty cool idea too. I've been charging at night when i goto bed, so i have well over enough power to last all day while I'm ignoring my annoying co-workers.

JLab did an awesome job of designing a product for fitness users at a great price. I bought for the wife too and she said they fit well .

Epic Earbud for a reasonable price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Earbuds connect well and easy. I just turn them on and they automatically connect to my phone. I haven't had a problem with them disconnecting. I use them around the house, Running, and for rock climbing. They are very durable and have great range. I can leave my phone in my living room and head into the far end of the garage with doors closed and still get a solid connection. If you learn how to operate them lightly touching the outsides, it can be very handy. The battery seems to hold for a decent amount of time. I leave them in the case in my climbing bag for a couple weeks and can take them out and they still have a solid charge. I am very happy with this product!!! Thanks JLAB AUDIO for making a product that is affordable and works well!

Epic Air are excellent wireless headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are BY FAR the best sounding wireless ear bud headphones I have experienced. I have been using them for about 2 days now. The touch controls are a bit sensitive, but the sound quality from them is great. Battery life so far is also very very good. I highly recommend these headphones.

Pretty disappointed...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I struggled to give these a two star rating. This is actually my first review of a product like this. I felt like I should share my experience. First pair purchased on 11/10: ear buds would not charge and one would not come on at all. Returned this set for a new set Saturday 11/11. The new set charged great and turned on. No issues connecting to phone and then pairing second ear bud. First workout at the gym later that day. Secondary ear bud had connection issues. Would drop connection, go in and out for a second and then back to connected. The connection issues happen a couple times w the primary but not as often as the other. So that was a little disappointing however my plan was to continue to use the ear buds and see if this issue worked itself out. Now we're at Monday 11/13. I'm at the office and have tried to connect the ear buds about eight different times. No luck at all. I keep getting unsuccessful connection (iphone 7). Needless to say I'm really bummed and will probably return these this afternoon. This is my 100% accurate and honest experience. I really wanted to love these ear buds but I think there's still a few kinks to work out. On to the next option for me.

Epic?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So... they do fit. if your not a fan of the in ear buds then these might be for you. Im a little more finicky when it comes to sound quality and demand more IMPO. If priced right they are good to average. The bluetooth was odd in that it seemed to connect easily and stay connected to my newer devices but would drop out on my old series zero apple watch. There is massive competiton in this product category as of late and I think you def have to up your game to stay relevant, do something different and unique.

Great Concept Terrible Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I waited 90 Days before submitting this. 1st, Jlab Customer Service is top notch. They have been quick to respond and have tried to keep me happy. Also, the concept on these is great. I actually did not have connection issues or Sound Quality problems although, I did have to reset the buds once due to them dropping sound but after that, they worked as they should. I like the Ear Hook as it keeps them in place while running and lots of ear cup options make it easy to find the right fit. Touch Controls worked as they should and Sound quality although not the best was pretty good. Unfortunately the Quality has been Terrible. In 90 Days, Jlab has replaced my Charging Case twice, Two Ear Buds and now my Third earbud has stopped working. I never charge these when wet and I never charge the case and the buds at the same time. I want to like these but have just had too many issues. Sorry, but I think I am done with Jlab Audio.

Great fit without cutouts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these mainly for the gym and outdoor runs. The biggest concern was connection and fit. I paired with an iPhone 7. You can pair either the left or the right to the phone and then the other earbud pairs to that earbud automatically. There has not been any of the cutouts like others have mentioned. I could put my phone in my right or left pocket and run for over an hour without a problem. The earhooks are flexible rubber at the bottom end and a harder material at the top, so they form to the ear while still staying in place. They look a bit larger than anticipated but surprisingly fit my ears well (I have average size ears?). The buttons are great for running, they're touch sensitive and worked well even with heavy sweat. The sound is immersive with deep bass and clear vocals.

Great Potential But a Failure
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking forward to these earbuds for months and they are a huge disappointment. First, the good. They are very comfortable. I've always had issues with buds but these feel great. I could wear them for long periods if not for the negatives. Now the cons. Sound quality is alright, not as good as others. The charging case is a little cheap feeling. I can overlook those negatives but there is one thing I can't overlook and that is the poor Bluetooth connection. If you move your head, you lose sound in one of the earbuds. You adjust an earbud and you lose sound. The connection between the two earbuds just is not implemented well. I am very disappointed because I've tried so many different headphones and I was really hoping these would work. The connection is terrible and, therefore, I cannot recommend these.

Best earbuds for fitness
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a pair of wireless earbuds for my workouts and stumbled upon these little bundles of joy. Way easier to use that I thought they would be, and no wires means nothing to worry about when I'm running, jumping or lifting. On top of that, I can sweat all over them and wash them off in the sink when I'm done, then just pop them in the case and throw them in my gym bag. Since the case charges them, they are always fully charged each time i go to work out, but since the battery life is so high, I barely need to plug them in. Love 'em!

Great sound, uncomfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that these stay in my ears when running and they have wonderful sound. I haven't had issues with charging or how long they stay charged. BUT I am returning them because the location of the power button presses into my ear and it is very painful. I can't wear them very long which I need a pair of true wireless that are comfortable for long term wear.
