The JLab Epic wireless headphones are great. The sound quality is phenomenal. They are extremely comfortable and fit securely on my ears. Especially when working out, I don’t have worry about then falling off while excercising. The wireless range is pretty good. I leave my phone and run the full length of a basketball court without any interruption in sound.

    Awful!

Must be within 5' of MP3 (which defeats the purpose of wireless); poor battery life; can use the left one by itself but not the right one. sound just cuts out for a few seconds a couple of times an hour. Don't waste your money.

Very disappointed in Epic Air Wireless

I had high hopes for these wireless, bluetooth earbuds. I'm a big fan of JLab Audio products and own a few of their earbuds and headphones (myself & my wife). My disappointment comes in the performance, sound quality and fit of the Epic Air Wireless Earbuds. I purchased 2 sets of these (myself and my wife) and we both have the same complaints. - the earbuds are not really that comfortable for long term wearing. The fit is really tight on the front of the ear and pushes up on the bone/cartilage in your ear. After a couple of hours, we both just have to take them out. I wear a Plantronics headset for hours every day without discomfort or ear fatigue (Savi 7 and/or Legend Bluetooth wireless). I could never wear the Epic Air's for as long as I wear either Plantronics headset Note: We're not using these for gym workouts, but rather wearing around the house, yard, etc. - Neither of us can find a gel tip that fits our ears very well, and none of them are tight enough to block out ambient noise. - The sound quality is really lacking when compared to other JLab wired earbuds we both have and use regularly. - The earbuds continually connect and disconnect from each other and our Samsung S7 phones. Even when the phones are in our pockets. I was hoping to use these on airplanes as I travel a lot, but I noticed that when I sit in my office chair and put my head back to rest it on the top of the chair, the earbuds disconnect from each other. Going back to my daily use of a Plantronics Legend Bluetooth Wireless headset, the Plantronics headset is bulletproof for connectivity - never disconnects and I don't need to carry my phone in my pocket. We're going to give these ear buds a couple of more days of testing, but I really think that they are both going to be returned. Very disappointed in our purchase :-(

Riding daily in a rai soaked city these amazing JLab beauties keep me rocking and energy filled daily. Sound quality and bass keep me pedaling fast and smiling ear to ear. JLab products keep my house pumping and keep my ride flow at an all time high.

The best one i've ever tried! Perfect sound, synchronization and materials. The diferencial is the real wireless and the huge battery power.

Good headphones for the price but, 10 days in the charging case indicator seems to not be indicating that it is charging. The headphones do infact charge but there seems to be no way to tell if that is due to the case having power from its last charge or the case is actually taking a charge. I will be returning this product. Can't tell if this is a fluke or bad manufacturing.

This was a replacement for my epic 2. Similar design but true wireless so I was excited. Well built but really poor design. The Bluetooth cuts in and out all the the time. Most annoying is the volume which randomly goes up or down without even touching the earbuds, which become unresponsive. Don’t waste your money. Compared to AirPods, these are trash.

I have been looking so forward to these and was so glad to see them available for purchase. I brought them home, paired them up and only to find that they constantly lose connection with each other. The connection to the phone seems fine but the constant disconnect one side from the other is terrible. I can only hope that maybe I had a bad one however I have returned it. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Absolutely awful sound - doesnt work out the box

Honestly ive had 15 dollar headphones work better. the sound is tinny at best with NO bass what so ever. Anyone on here that says the audio is great, well doesnt have a CLUE about audio. They didnt work out the box as i have read so many cases of. One bud connects to your phone (tested on multiple devices) the other doesnt connect to the main earbud (this should happen just by turning the bud on). These are going straight back to best buy to get a pair of headphones that A) work B)doesnt sound like an elephant falling into a pit full of pots and pans. DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES Id give it no stars if i could.

    Disappointed

I really really wanted to love the epic air headphones. The no wires and the over the ear look is simply not found any where else. I can't have any any headphones that don't wrap around my ears because they never stay when I work out. The Epic Airs have been an extreme disappointment. I have had to return my epic airs on 4 separate occasions now because they stopped working in some way without any damage or reason to stop. My first pair wouldn't connect to each other even after painstakingly following the directions with a best buy employee. My second one, the charger case was defective because both the input and the output chargers were loose, causing them to be punched into the the case upon the first attempt at charging. The third pair was ok for a few weeks. They worked, the touch controls were spotty at best but at least they connected and survived for a little. I loved them. When these headphones work they are the most convenient little gadgets. I noticed that even though they were "sweat resistant" the sweat from working out could cause the touch controls to simulate a touch, sometimes causing my music to turn down completely if the left side got even a little sweaty. Inconvenient, but a minor and unusual happening. Then one day out of the blue, with no reason at all, the case stopped charging the headphones. The case would be full charge, and yet the headphones would never exceed 10% charge, constantly saying "low battery" after an entire night of charging. I know there was no damage to the headphones or the case because this was my third one and I treated like my first born. My fourth one then had the same charging problem as the third, but literally the same day as I bought it. So it didn't even give me the few weeks. All in all, if they worked, they would be a 4/5. The touch controls are a bit rough, but they cannot be beat with convenience. BUT, I haven't found a pair that work yet. After 200$ (out the door) for headphones, you'd think they'd be high quality and I'm dissatisfied that they don't appear to be.

I'll keep this short and sweet and just deliver a heads-up to anyone considering purchasing these to work out in: they kinda suck. The sound quality is pretty good but they are not very functional when it comes to working out in, especially if you are serious about your routines like I am. The thing I hate the most is the "touch-and-tap" feature. There's nothing worse than sprinting out that last quarter mile while listening to your "power song", reaching up to adjust the earbud thats slipping out ("secure fit"? yeah, right) and accidentally skipping the track. Heck, even my towel lightly brushing against it as I wipe sweat off changes the tracks. If there were a way to turn off that touch feature, then maybe I would recommend these. Since there appears not to be, I highly encourage you to reconsider if you are looking for workout gear. Connectivity is also very poor and pretty darn annoying. Lots of skipping/disconnecting....lots....despite their claims. Bottom line: For casual use, they may be fantastic. For workout gear, heck no.

Do not sit well on or in ears. Touch sensitivity is touchy and sometimes too sensitive, other times not sensitive at all. They have a delayed reaction time. Do not support audio of video in Facebook app consistently, occasionally cutting out or not triggering headphones at all. Phone calls come in mono when you have stereo ear buds.

Great form and accessories, no bass

Tldr; don't buy this for the audio. since they aren't headphones who's function is listening to audio you should probably just not buy them. Pros: Excellent materials Great fit Easy to set up Charging case Cons: Audio quality. Price Audio control buttons are very touchy The bass on these headphones is basically nonexistent. I could probably look past that if they were cheaper, but at $150 this is pretty much unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and buy something else. For comparisons sake the stock iPhones wired headphones are free and sound substantially better. I don't know if that's is a fair comparison but if it isn't I will be going back to free wired headphones.

I bought these ear buds on Oct 25, 2017. I don't use them very often but they stopped charging 2 weeks ago. I tried to return or exchange them at the Best Buy I had purchased them from, but was told I had to go through the manufacturer. So frustrating. $150 !! So not worth the price.

    Horrible Bluetooth connection

Horrible connection with blue tooth and pairing. If you are in a gym that is crowded with lots of other devices....which is every gym the earbuds fall out of connection. I replaced them twice even called there JLABs customer service. Did all they said. Turned off the handoff mode, disconnected and reconnected while at the gym as told. Even factory reset after getting them brand new the same day. After 45 min your ears will get sore. Expensive product with all the issues. I Do not recommend this to anybody!! I do the typical gym, but also bike and hike. The product is horrible again in a crowded gym atmosphere.

Could be Great - But Falls Short

I was really excited when I got these earbuds. They have all of the features I wanted (wireless, loops behind ear to secure them, no string connecting them, and easy enough charging). Unfortunately my earbuds had two fatal flaws which led me to return them and get the Apple Airpods (which btw are amazing). Issue #1 was the majority of the time I only got audio in one earbud. Issue #2 was the left earbud refused to charge. I tried troubleshooting a bit, but wasn't interested in a product with issues out of the box.

Music constantly being interrupted between headphones. While using one headphone only reduces such nuance, it kinda defeats the purpose of being truly wireless. Ive had them for two days and im returning them tomorrow.

Brilliant design except they don't fit

I like nearly everything about the Epic Air, features, controls, ease of use, quality. My one issue is the ear hooks include an antenna so I can't bend them to fit my ear. The bud sits too far out of my ear canal making the audio sound hissy like an old transistor radio. If I could remove the hook they would probably be fine. Tried every silicone tip and there is simply no bass response. I don't have this problem with other brands that don't use an hear hook or have multi-size or an adjustable hook. Designers need to provide an extended silicone tip or comparable solution.
