I would give zero stars if possible for both the product and JLABS customer service. For the first 6 weeks the earbuds worked very well. On the 6th week the left earbud would not charge. I did various trouble shooting operations as per the owners manual nothing work contacted JLABS customer service to file a warranty claim, best they can do is offer me a $60.00 credit towards a new pair purchased on their website. I paid $59.99 at Best Buy their website is charging $99.99, so I have to pay $40 additional to buy new earbuds. What kind of warranty is that? Also I sent all photos as the CR rep requested have not heard back for my $60 certificate. Wasted $60.00 be aware

These JLab earbuds are REALLY SMALL! Extremely tight around the ears. I've used JLab products for years with great satisfaction. But these are so tight the bud comes out of the ear when the loop is wrapped around the ear. Only 1 week after using, the right ear loop broke off when I tried to put the bud back in my ear! Very poor design. Very unsatisfied .

These earbuds hurt my ears, they grip on too tight. The touch controls are too sensitive. It has Tile built into it, but only for the headphones. Not the case they come in.

These earbuds offer a light, comfortable fit with comfortable ear loops. They can be worn for long periods of time without creating significant strain or pressure points on the ear. However, the drawback of ear loops is that the seal into the ear canal is not as good as it could be, and sound isolation suffers. This also creates high treble notes and less consistent deep base. When listening to a variety of music genres, I found that the earbuds work nicely across many different types of music. However, when the bass really needed to start kicking, I was significantly underwhelmed – especially if moving around and unable to push the buds back in to create a seal. Out of the box, the earbuds feel solid in the case and come with a built-in charging cable for convenience, plus a port if using your own cable. Paring is made simple by audio prompts. Re-pairing with Bluetooth audio devices is seamless and quick. Nice audio prompts upon connecting to Bluetooth indicate battery life, which helps with battery planning. The case feels well-made, and the buds fit nicely inside with good contact with the charging contacts. User controls are intuitive and easy to use. Pause and resume, as well as turning on and off sound isolation for ambient noise control, is as easy as toggling the left earbud. The earbuds are ideal for fitness activities such as running, lifting weights, or other high-intensity activities since the ear loops keep the buds attached to the ear despite a lot of movement. As previously mentioned, I think sound isolation suffers from that design. Users may need to swap the included silicone gel tips for different sizing configurations, but I have yet to find a perfect fit with ear loops in general. These earbuds are also useful for the work environment as they allow for decent sound quality while allowing for ambient noise to help the user be aware of surroundings. What I enjoy listening to most with these are audiobooks while exercising or cleaning the house. I can still hear voices perfectly, and I do not need them to be sealed in the ear since I am not listening to deep bass. Of course, since voices are easily heard, these work great for phone calls. That audio is crisp and clear. People listening to me are happy with my audio. I definitely recommend these earbuds for the uses I mentioned above. Within those restrictions, they are excellent! If someone wants constant, deep bass, these are not the answer. For that matter, I have not found any buds with ear loops that fulfill that requirement.

    Another solid entry from JLab

JLab does it again, but are we really surprised? The Epic Sport ANC 3 earbuds are everything you want in a pair of earbuds for the gym with nothing you don't. For those looking for quality audio, the Epic Sport ANC 3 had support for LDAC on Android and AAC on iOS, meaning that you won't experience the quality drop typical for most headphones on either platform. The noise cancelling won't win any awards, but for drowning out the noises at the typical gym during Resolution Month, they're pretty solid, I also tested them (briefly) for ambient mode while shoveling the recent Kansas City snow, but found they couldn't last very long in the blistering cold while exposed; under a stocking cap or ear muffs, they fared better in 5 degree Fahrenheit temperatures (-15 Celsius). Inside the house after they warmed back up, I got a few hours of listening to music out of them without even using half the battery. The charging case is where the most innovation with these earbuds happened over my last pair. First, it's more pocket-friendly that past versions. Second, the built-in cable is USB-C instead of a flat-plug USB-A. Third, on top of the built-in USB-C cable, there's also a USB-C port for an external charger wire and the ability to charge on any Qi-compatible wireless charger. The ONLY thing I would have liked to see added was a USB A-to-C adapter in the charge case, and there is room for it. Audio quality is very good, but depends on your phone more than anything else. iOS devices will use AAC streaming, which means that if your music is in AAC format or you're using a streaming platform like Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, or the paid version of SoundCloud, the audio conversion will happen inside the earbuds instead of on your phone. All other formats will be converted to AAC audio on the fly, including FLAC and ALAC lossless formats. For Android headsets, LDAC support requires the capability in your phone to encode this format, but you'll be able to enjoy hi-res lossless formats like FLAC, ALAC, MQA, and even files you might have in the uncompressed WAV and AIFF formats. The JLab app is also a must-have with these earbuds, as it lets you tweak EQ settings and more easily control the ANC and transparency modes from your phone screen (along with firmware updates to add or tweak features in the earbuds themselves). All in all, you really can't go wrong with the JLab Epic Sport ANC 3 earbuds.
