Overall Good Ear Buds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JLab Audio - Epic2 Sport Wireless Earbud Headphones were easy to sync with the iPhone and changing out the ear bud sizes were especially easy. Just had to pop off the unwanted size and pop on the correct one. They fit comfortably in the ear and the wire behind the head was not intrusive while running and working out. Would have given then 5 stars, but the base was a little weaker than other sport ear buds that I have used. The sound was loud enough, but lacked a deep base. Besides that, they are great ear buds for working out and are comfortable and easy to use. Overall, really like them and will enjoy using them.

Meh?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I tested these with an iPhone 7 just for reference. This is a huge category with many big name competitors at similar price points. Unfortunately the Jlabs-Epic 2 just don't hold up to them. Pros: They are light weight, and the battery lasts. Cons: Well i'll start with the packaging. I thought I was going to damage the headphones while trying to cut them out of the impossible plastic. There is no included charger just a tiny USB cable. The ear wrap that's bendable is nice but ends up looking goofy. They are not waterproof (only sweat resistant) Lastly (and what I feel is most important) the blutooth cuts in and out. If the Epic 2's were marketed at a low end i'd say maybe. But for what the company's shooting for i'd say they need more practice

Lightweight and Fit in Ears Well
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the main things I look for in a pair of bluetooth headphones is that they are not bulky and will stay in the ear. I am a runner and the constant bobbing motion of running regularly jars bluetooth headsets out of my ears or at least are combersome where I need to deal with them regularly. This pair of bluetooth headphones is different. They are smaller profile and fit in the ears well. The sound is excellent and pairing them with a bluetooth device is easy. There are many options for bluetooth headphones but I would add these to the list to check out.

Best Sport Earbuds I've Owned!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Epic2 wireless earbuds are the best sport earbuds I've ever owned. Getting them connected to my iPhone7 was a snap. Once connected I picked through the variety of rubber ear pieces until I found the ones that suited me best for sound quality and comfort. The Epic2's sound great and I can wear them on my runs and while I lift. They are super lightweight and never impede any movement. I will definitely recommend these earbuds to my family and friends.

Excellent Wireless Earbuds on the go
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I primarily bought these earbuds to use while I am jogging and I must say that they hold out great. I have no problem using them while jogging. They fit great and the battery is long lasting. They are usually lasting me about 8 hours per charge. I havent taken them out for longer periods of time so I cannot say how long they will last while using continuously. They sound great and I did not had any problem with regards to signals.

Fair but not outstanding
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high expectations for these headphones. They looked like they would be a good cross between totally wireless and I'm afraid one will fall out and I'll lose it. The headphones were light weight but alrough there was a good assortment of tips for the earbuds, none of the 7 buds provided a snug fit. Positioning the earbud was also a little problematic in that once a fit was found, the memory wire would not help it stay in position (it would slip out partially). If you are looking for a headset that will stay in place for an active person, keep looking. The sound quality was acceptable for audio (like books), average for music and below average for cell phone calls. For the cell, ear volume was rather low and the callers had difficulty hearing.Overall, I would hope I can find a better option.

Great for the Active Person on the Go
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are very comfortable, i used them for a 4 mile jog on my treadmill and a 4 mile jog at my local park. They didn't come off or felt uncomfortable during my workouts. The cables are thin, and the mic doesn't take up too much space either. These headphones look really discreet, especially with the black color which i like, it looks like i don't have headphones at all. The wireless feature is nice too. I hate cords. I had to buy an arm sleeve due to headphone cords to have easier access to my ipod, but w/ these i don't need one, i just keep my cell in my pocked and jog, it doesn't eve effect the sound quality either! I sweat a lot, some people say more then the average person. I also like to stay active by working out 5 days a week. These headphone have been great for my daily jogs. They are "splash resistant" too. You can tell by how the mic is covered and the earbuds which is another plus. The only thing i would knock off these headphones is the sound quality. These headphones can get very loud, when it's loud the highs and lows don't sound too well that's why i am taking off 1 star. These headphones are just loud which is fine because when you are working out you don't pay attention to the highs and lows, you just want good loud music coming out of your headphones which these headphones do. So far, i like this product. They do what they suppose to do, and they are loud. They also look durable. I would recommend these headphones to anyone who likes to workout. I have a feeling these headphones will be my go to gear for workouts. I hope they last a couple of years with me.

weak bluetooth
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Standard bluetooth range is supposed to be around 30ft. These were sketchy at around 5ft. They were also very dependent on which way my head was facing. When they had a decent connection, the sound quality was good enough, but definitely not high-end. I didn't thoroughly test the waterproof claim (which also seems to be dependent on having the charging connection cover firmly in place), but they did survive a very sweaty workout without issue. However, the shape did manage to channel some sweat directly into my ear canal. Initially, I liked the over-the-ear configuration of the connecting wire because it keeps that wire out of the way, but it became uncomfortable after 15-20 minutes.

Great for the price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great bluetooth earphones for the price. The only feature they don't have that I miss is noise cancellation. So, they may not be the best for using on flights, but I think they'll be great for wearing during workouts. They have the IPX5 rating so they resist sweat and can be rinsed off after a workout. Best of all, once I got the right size gel ear pieces installed, they fit snugly in my ear and stayed there no matter how much I moved around. Staying in place during exercise always seems to be a problem with any slightly bulkier earphones I've tried to use. Making phone calls with them worked okay. The sound through the earphones was fine, although people say I sound a little "tinny" on their end. Also, any movement that causes the wire to brush against you causes unpleasant noise on the other end. It was a little tricky figuring out how to fit them properly at first. Eventually I found it works best to rotate them into place and then put the clip over the ear. As far as fitting in your ear, these should have a pretty good chance of fitting anyone. I've never had a pair of earphones that came with 8 different tip sizes before. They also come with a fairly nice, very compact case that also has room for the USB charging cable. Speaking of charging, they are advertised to have a battery that lasts 12 hours. I've not tested that yet, but given their small size 12 hours would be very impressive. Overall, I'm happy with these earphones and think they'll be great for use while exercising or doing yard work.

Average headphones at a midrange price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really hoping to like these headphones, but the sound just isn't there for me. They left me with a hollow sound wanting bass and volume. These headphones have many positives, but you buy headphones to listen to music not for just functionality. Here are some of the good things going for this pair of headphones: +Memory Wire - The memory wire is a great feature that makes these fit the outside of your ear perfectly. You mold them to your preferred shape and it stays. +Sweat/Splash Proof - This is something you come to expect from earbuds these days and these have this protection. Do not take these swimming or dunk them in water. They aren't waterproof. +Good Midrange Sound - These sound great if you don't like bass heavy music. This doesn't mean they are bad, they're just not for me. They sound good don't get me wrong. +Simple Pairing - These work with both Android and Apple and pair like any other bluetooth device. If you are asked for a password, it is 0000. +Simple Interface - The remote is simple to use and only has 3 buttons. +Customizability - In addition to the memory wire, you have a plethora of ear tips to suit you. The fit is key to getting good sound out of these. There are like 7 pairs of tips so you should find one that is good for you. +Battery Life - These advertise 12 hour battery life, but I was able to average anywhere from 8-10 hours on a single charge. Maybe after a few battery cycles this will get better, but out of the box I got 75% of the advertise battery life. This will also be effected by volume. I listened to mind at about 95% volume. +Carrying Case - This carrying case is pretty nice. Nothing fancy but it is built solid. It has room for the headphones and the charging cord. +USB Micro Charger - Some headphones use proprietary cords, but this one uses your typical USB charge cord. Apple users will struggle to find a cord if they are deep in the Apple ecosystem. Now for the things I didn't like. This is mostly personal preference, but for me I had a hard time liking the following: -Lacks Bass - These headphones are great but just not for me. I like more bass in my music so if you like good overall coverage of highs, mids, and just enough bass then these are for you. -Volume - These get loud, but they aren't powerful enough for me. If you like good powerful sound these are not for you. There is more than enough volume for the average user. -Price - For the price, there are a lot of better sounding headphones out there. This is a good price point for the midrange user market who don't want to pay top dollar for bluetooth headphones. As you can see, there are way more positives than negatives for these headphones. I would say try them out and if you like them keep them. Most places you buy from have a great return policy so you will have to find out for yourself. If you are not an audiophile and want solid value for your money get these. If you are an audiophile, you will probably still be using wired headphones. There are other earphones out there that offer better sound, but nothing like the good ole 3.5mm headphone jack. -=VERDICT=- Try them for yourself, they weren't for me but they are good headphones!

nice BT earbuds.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so far I enjoy these ear buds. I like that they have a part that goes over your ears. I am not a fan for ear buds that just go into your ears and hang. I have a ear that has a bump in it that makes it hard to use ear buds and cause them to always fall out. with these, they may not go in all the way in that ear but I can still use and not have them fall out. so for that alone I like them. I like that they came with a lot of tips as well. so if your ears are small they came with a couple small tips and styles. of if you have bigger ears. they also came with a bag which is great as well. fits the ear buds, charging cord and all the tips. sound is pretty decent. maybe not the best for bass but kind of expected that. I don't expect to get the bass that I would get from a 12" speaker in a car from a 5" speaker. so the same with ear buds. but still has good sound. like i said, i enjoy the over ear piece as i can move around and do things and they don't fall out. my only con so far, is that the cord to charge is short. i personally would not mind a long cord that allows you to charge and still use. if i am on a computer using for instance i don't mind plugging in. i also prefer to have the option to plug in a audio cord for times that you might not have BT. like older laptops, desktops etc. but other then that, i like them. and the caring case is small and can fit in your pocket.

Comfortable with Good Quality Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For me there are two things to consider when buying earbuds: fit and sound quality. I have had several other bluetooth earbuds in the Epic2 price range and this is the first pair that both fit consistently well and provided decent all around sound quality. The wrap around memory coil can be bent to fit your outer ear to help hold the bud in place. With a wide selection of soft rubber fittings, you should have no problem finding the proper fit for your ear canal. Once seated, outside noise is held to a minimum however these are not noise canceling headphones. While I have not put these buds through an extensive workout, I have worn them outdoors on a brief jog where they held up well while sweating. Like any bud, if you take them in and out while sweaty it can be a bit difficult to get them to stay put, but the memory coil helps with that. They definitely won't pop all the way out while exercising unlike some earbuds. I did have to go online to figure out how to pair these buds with my phone as it was not as intuitive as some other brands but once I figured out the pairing I was satisfied with the product. Sound quality: Average Volume level: Above average Fit (comfort): Above average Fit (tips): 7 sets (varying sizes) Battery Life: Above average (claims 12 hours) Reliability: TBD (owned for only 1 week so far)

These headphones are a miss.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always try to keep an open mind when newer companies enter an already crowded marketplace. My thinking is that they must feel they have a compelling product that could stand up against the Beats and the Bose of the world. The Jlab Epic 2's are an "attempt" to compete with in the bluetooth wireless headset market, but ultimately the product underwhelms in many different areas. First off I have to discuss the packaging. Even after I sliced the pieces of tape I found the initial opening of the product to be clunky and cumbersome. You should have a good experience opening up a product for the first time and the Jlab's experience was not positive. I workout 5-6 times a week and I wear a lot of different headphones, and I for the life of me could not figure out how to get these initially inserted in my ear. Once I opened the manual and saw exactly how to turn them I finally got them in, and then even then they were not comfortable They need to go back to the drawing board on packaging. The wire is stringy and can be molded around your ear but I felt like the headphones were buried deep in my ear canal, and after about 20 minutes or so my ears were irritated. Also they seem to be worn around your ears, so the wire naturally goes behind my head, but that's where all the controls are. I mean luckily you can adjust volume on your phone, but still. All of this could be overlooked if the sound quality was over the top, but to me the headphones are flat and tinny. Compared to the powerbeats wireless 3 or bose they just don't stack up. The battery life is acceptable, but if you don't even want to wear the headphones because they're uncomfortable what's the point. I wish that I had a better overall experience with the jlabs, but overall they're a miss. For the amount of money you're spending I wouldn't recommend these headphones until they get into the 50 dollar range.

Only Good As A Backup Pair
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup and pairing was very easy. The controls are the same as all of the other sport earbuds out there. It took me a little while to find the right size for my ear and then adjusting around my ear. They fit good and it is very lightweight which is very good while working out. I only thing I dislike if that my music didn't sound as good as it should have.

It's all about the fit!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many sport erbuds, those with the external moving hook, those with the flat ribbed piece, in-ear, and even those with the shaped earpiece, at any point in my run, they fall off or needs constant fixing. The good things about this one, it is SNUG FIT. Once you it on your ear, twist and it stays in place. Maybe it is my ear, who knows, but this one does the job. In regards to the audio. to me, they are all the same. Some earphones I used even claim to have better bass or audio quality--- believe me, and you know these, active people-- if the earpiece is not in the right position, it does not give justice to the output of the earphones. This one, I liked a lot. It does not disrupt my running pace. Bluetooth connection etc, no different from any other. This one stays in my ear and that's all that I need!

Basic, Lightweight Wireless Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JLab Audio - Epic2 Sport Wireless Earbud Headphones are lightweight and compact. They pair easily with my iPhone. Pros: lightweight and compact, charge quickly, hooks over ears, so should be stable when exercising. Cons: not as comfortable as other headphones I have used, even with multiple different earphone plugs. Does not have bass/treble adjustments like similarly-priced units.

So nice to not have an annoying wire
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I both tested these out as active people and enjoy listening to music while we work out. We were given these to try out in return for an honest review. We have both tried multiple headphones over the years for running and cycling. I liked these wireless headphones because my annoyance is the cord always in the way - how/where to tuck it, not too tight, not too lose. I used these cycling mainly so the ease of having your phone in your pocket was not an issue. For running I don't like having my phone as its too big so I prefer a mini ipod that is light - if there was a combination of something that small with wireless headphones - that would be the golden ticket. My husband doesn't mind running with his phone and although he thought these headphones were okay, he felt the weight of a cord helped keep the headphones in so he won't be converting. I appreciated all the ear piece options - there are a lot! It did take me a handful of times to find ones that worked the best as some seem okay until you get going. I also didn't read the directions and took me a few times to realize I could bend it around my ear more (I have small ears). Cycling with wind was not the best as it was loud but know with finding the right ear bud match it would be drastically improved from the few I used that would slide out over the ride. Like the turquoise color - helps me find them - and the case was perfect for traveling. Easy to charge. Easy to use. My husband had a hard time connecting to our spotify without being online but I was able to connect to a playlist without using data. Overall, I liked them. I didn't give 5 stars as I don't love them because it did take some work to find the best fit and even that I feel like I need to keep trying different buds as its not 'perfect/5 stars.' They work well and are my preferred headphones (mainly because no wire). I would recommend them for active people who are annoyed by wires and want something light, easy, and adaptable to a variety of ear sizes.

Practical running earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not usually into in-ear style headphones, but I've had good luck with headphones that hook over the ear, so I gave these a shot. I was really surprised how well these lock onto/into my ears once they twist backwards into place. They come with a really good selection of different sized ear plugs (that's not always the case), and clips to take up the slack of the cable that goes behind the neck. My only two negative experiences were phone call quality and comfort over time. When I get a call, I would have to speak somewhat loudly for the caller to hear me clearly. I also tried wearing them throughout my workday, and I noticed that after 2 hours, my ears would start to get really uncomfortable. Otherwise, I really enjoy these headphones.
