This was my 2nd try with different cordless headphones each time. I purchased Beats 1st--didn't last a week before they stopped working (would not charge). I purchased JLab next due to good write ups. Lasted 2 weeks before they would not charge. Earbuds with hook over ear was never comfortable for me. I run a lot and sweat. I was disappointed with these headphones as both were advertised to be water resistant and for sports.

I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to headphones. I'm constantly trying out new ones (different brands, styles, price levels, etc.). I'm also incredibly picky about my headphones. I've used over the ear, neck band, ear buds (both in ear and over the ear), and I've still struggled to find the perfect pair. This pair isn't perfect, but it hits a lot of the major points for me, and this is a solid pair of headphones. They hit my three major criteria (for wireless): 1) good connectivity 2) comfortable fit and 3) long battery life. First, I was able to easily pair the headphones with my phone and haven't had any issues so far with them disconnecting. Second, while not perfect, these headphones come with quite an assortment of tips to help you find the most comfortable fit. That's a big one for me because (I have to be honest) my ears seem to have a funky shape when it comes to in ear headphones fitting. The "standard" fit doesn't fit me. This gave me a lot of options. I still don't know that I've found the perfect fit which is the main reason I took a star off but better than most. Lastly, my biggest pet peeve about wireless headphones is short battery life. You're on the go and your phone has a full charge but your headphones die, that's the worst! These headphones have been going for the last two days and have about a 12 hour battery. Just charge them at night with your phone and you're good to go.

I purchased this about a month or two, had some issues like charging it then the next time I go to use them they are dead, like they did not even charge which was weird, but I did not do anything about it.. Few weeks after, the charge will not even work. Completely dead, got no life out of it. Does not turn on or anything, tried different USB's and still nothing. Not worth the $100. Garbage.

Do not expect these headphones to be ready to use right out of the box. It took quite a bit of working and reworking the ear wrap around to fit the shape of my ear at least enough for the headphone portion to actually go into my ear without me pushing on it and holding it in place. Once I realized the wrap around is flexible and (for the most part) stays in the shape you put it into, things got better. From there it was a matter of figuring out which ear tip fit me best. I was impressed with how many tip options came with the headphones, however only one option out of the eight fit in my ear. So it will suck when the times comes where one gets lost or ripped, I hope jlab eventually offers a tip kit separately. It also took A LOT of moving them around, like 2 songs worth of time, to get them to sit comfortably and not feel uneven. The sound quality on these headphones seems great. Especially for this price point. The base and tremble sounds right on. I am one that is picky about sound quality and I was satisfied with these, I tested them with rock music, both live and studio, and todays hits and edm. All were good. I was however not impressed with the noise cancelling, the tips that fit me the best did an okay job at outside noise cancelling. But when I have to use another tip in the future, the noise cancelling will be lacking for sure. I used these both outdoors and still heard an occasional loud car. And in the gym and heard some background noise from other people. The controls are very easy to use, I like how you just have to hold the up or down button to change the song rather than double clicking or anything. Also I like that it is micro usb chargeable, so many devices run on that change now a days and it is annoying when devices are not. Also nice to get a case to put these in. I had another pair of bluetooth headphones and I only made the mistake of putting them in my gym bag once, because all sorts of small debris stuck to them, but with a case that will not happen with these. I was least impressed with the range as far as distance. At the gym I often leave my phone at the machine while I go get a paper towel and my $30 bluetooth headphones never lose connection when I do that, however these were skipping in and out of connection just 10-15 feet away. At one point after it kept struggling to stay connected, I had my phone in my hand, and the headphones still said lost connection, out of range. And the battery level on both were good. Overall my two biggest complaints are the comfort level and distance range. Sound is great. I like all the extras that come with them. But I would give up the case to have these be more comfortable in my ears.

JLab Audio - Epic2 Sport Wireless Earbud Headphones Included- 1 set of wireless headphones with universal mic that has track and volume controls, mini cable clips, USB cable, travel case, and 7 additional cushion tips. It also has a 1 year limited warranty. Setting up the wireless headphones Bluetooth is easy. My phone found the device with no problem. The voice prompt will tells you it's ready to pair and then when it is connected. It will work with Androids or Apple. The gel cushion tips easily switch out from one size to another so you are able to customize the fit for you. The 24" wire can be shortened and clipped to keep the extra length out of the way. There are warnings that the optional clips may affect the Bluetooth connectivity. Once the buds are in your ear, you are supposed to wrap the wire behind your ear. This is where I have the biggest problems. I can get the earbuds in, but they do not stay for very long. My long hair gets in the way of the wire, and any time I move the earbuds pop out. I can't get the wire to bend and stay wrapped around my small ears. That's obviously a huge problem since these are supposed to be sport earbuds. That's the biggest reason I had to mark them down. I also don't like the placement of the controls. It's located on the wire where I've found it difficult to find, not displace my earbud, and push the buttons I need to. I like the little travel case where everything fits inside nicely. The sound was acceptable too. But I own a pair of Bose Soundsport and I like them so much more than these. There is room for improvement for JLab Audio - Epic2 Sport Wireless Earbud Headphones. They just not functional for me since I can't get them to stay put.

Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review of the product. When I got the email saying there were Bluetooth sport headsets available to request and review, I was super excited. I've been using my wired Apple Earbuds at the gym, and the wire sometimes gets in the way, and had actually been thinking about investing in a Bluetooth headset not just for the gym but since I know I will be upgrading to the newest iPhone this fall and it won't have a headphone jack. Anyway, back to the product. First, the box/packaging is like a Rubix cube. It took me longer to open up the box and get the headphones out than it did to set up and sync the headphones. Second, the controls of the headset are in a SUPER awkward position (back behind the right ear), and I'm not really sure how you are supposed to use it for phone calls, since the microphone is back there, as well. Third, LOVE the fact that it comes with so many different earbud options (a la Skullcandy earbuds), but I couldn't find a pair that fit well (a common problem I have with earbuds, not exclusive to this headset). Fourth, simply sitting still on my bed with my phone next to me, I was getting cut outs of sound. Last night, I took them to the gym and used them on the elliptical, stationary bike, and some weights. Other than my ears sweating WAY more than they usually do with the Apple earbuds, they stayed in place and I only had a few cutouts - on the elliptical and bike. When I started doing weights, the only thing that kept me wearing them was that I was able to listen to music without being physically attached to my device. They started slipping, the sound was constantly cutting out, and by the time I made it back to the locker room at the end of my workout, I was thoroughly annoyed. My final verdict? They're decent for cardio, but don't bother if you do a lot of movement in your workout (i.e., weights). For $99, I expect more from the headphones.

The earbuds have over-the-ear “hooks” that are supposed to have ”memory” but the only memory they seem to have is NOT to remember where and how they are shaped. I get one in my ear and while I am attempting to install the second, the first one falls out! Perfectly USELESS!

These are decent ear buds for the price. As is the case, you get what you pay for. These are good for walking, and lounging, but i would not recommend them for running. They have a bendable ear wire that is mold-able to your ear, which i like. And this comes with multiple ear gel cushion tips, so you are bound to find something that fits. I have weird shaped ears, and most headphone like this that go in the ear do no fit or stay, but i was able to find a combination that worked for me. Like most other wireless headphones, this has buttons on the wire to turn the volume up/down, as well as answer calls. Sound is decent, has 12 hours playtime, and works with android, and apple. Not much to complain about. Im only giving it 4 stars vs. 5 because if you wear glasses, you will have a difficult time fitting these over the glasses. Overall these are good, recommended headphones.

Stopped charging. I contacted the manufacturer and they seem to be willing to replace but it looks like a HUGE hassle including mailing the defective product back at my own expense and if I jump through all the right hoops, I may get a new one in several weeks.

Firstly, I was ecstatic to receive my first pair of nice inner ear buds; however, my excitement was quickly evaporated. I’ll start with the good, the set-up for the earbuds was very user-friendly. I had to charge them first which didn’t take long. Thereafter, per the enclosed instructions, I synced them to my smart phone without any hiccups. I have about 300 plus songs in a folder in Dropbox (my bestie). I chose Katy Perry’s “Roar” because I wanted to hear how the bass would measure up. Well, this is where my bubble burst due to the fact the blue tooth intermittently disconnects from time to time. Also, with phone in hand when I would go into another room the blue tooth would cause the music to cut out as well. Another, minus for me is where the controls are positioned, they are not comfortable to access. The only thing I can give a true measure up with regards to comparison is my Gumy Plus by JVC, which does an OUTSTANDING job and only costs $5. I have several pairs and they hold up quite well. Yes, they are wired but they don’t cut out and deliver just what I need. I guess my lesson learned from this experience is that expensive is NOT always better!
