A product for a golfer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5.0 out of 5 stars JLAB Epic 2's - Golfers Review, May 16, 2017 By Amazon Customer Edit Review Delete Review This review is from: JLab Audio Epic2 Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Sport Earbuds, GUARANTEED fitness, waterproof IPX5 rated, skip-free sound, pristine high-performance 8mm sound drivers, 12hr play time w/ microphone - Black (Electronics) Overall, this product surpassed any expectations I had set prior to owning them. I had previously owned a pair of wireless earbuds and I went back to the traditional headphones because of the connection issues and a poor sound quality. The JLAB Epic 2's have been perfect for a jog and golf practice on the range. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that I was 10 yards from my phone and still had crystal clear sound. The battery life was another feature that was a bonus. I had left them in my car for a few days and I forgot to charge them, when I turned them on there was more than enough battery life to complete my workout. This product has lived up to the expectation of the previous JLAB products I have owned and I would highly recommend the Epic 2's to anybody who is looking for an set wireless earbuds for an active lifestyle.

The Best Bluetooth Earbuds for the Gym
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I love Bluetooth earbuds, prior to using the JLAB Epic 2 Wireless Sport Earbuds, I have always found that they eventually come out of my ears at the gym. The over-wire design of the JLAB Epic 2 Wireless Sport Earbuds, however, completely alleviates this issues. JLAB uses their "memory wire" to allow you to shape the top of the earbuds so that they are both comfortable, and secure. Running is no longer an issue, as these earbuds don't move at all. Speaking of comfort, JLAB has started including 8 different earbud covers that fit everything from small, shallow ears, to large ears. I love the flexibility these offer, as I know that buying a pair of these as a gift for someone, I know they will have the perfect fit. The battery life on these is amazing. They will play music for approximately 12 hours. This means that they can survive a week at the gym without needing a charge. The in-line controls are great, allowing you to easily adjust the volume, change tracks, play/pause music, and answer phone calls. "Google Now" also worked very well with the Epic 2s. The sound quality is also great. It won't replace over the ear headphones for full bass, but no earbuds truly will. That said, these are my new go-to earbuds, and I can't imagine replacing them.

Excellent Product - Sound-Fit & Features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The premium Beats earbuds broke after 18 months of minimal use - Apple wanted $99 +S&H to repair these. After researching online reviews I decided to go with these. I didn't notice any difference in sound quality but the fit was much more comfortable with all the features you would want. The earbuds are comfortable, the wire is small and does not stick to your neck unlike the Beats. The ear wrap is minimal and comfortable. They also come with a 30 day guarantee - what's not to like - I love them.

Sound would be good if they stayed in
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound coming out of these headphones is good, as long as you can actually get them to stay in your ears. The positive: the sound coming out of these is very good. I don't think it is quite "Bose" good, but it is very respectable. Also, the controls are simple and easy to use. The bad: these are the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever tried. They are nominally for exercise, but if I move my head at all, they pop right out of my ears. They don't fall off of my head due to hooking over the ear, but they certainly don't stay in. There is a wide variety of tips for your ears, but trying these did nothing for me.

Not for everyone.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good - Easy to sync with phone and other devices - Great build quality - Comes with a lot of different ear pieces - The cable clips are good when you want to adjust the length Bad - Became loose during my workouts not very comfortable. Tried all the different ear pieces. (jumping jacks, running in place, jumping up and down in place, pushups, planks/ side planks.) - The ear clips made my ear sore after 10 min.. maybe I put them on wrong ?? too tight ? Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re going to use them for work outs. The fit was very disappointing. Other might have better luck.

Thin Sound And Difficult To Wear
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With so many bluetooth sports earbuds on the market right now, I was surprised how un-evolved these Epic2’s are. From a design point of view alone, I found them difficult to place over-and-in my ears - JLab provides a ton of different sized tips but the ear clip felt clunky and uncomfortable as it held the earbuds in place. Once they were in place, though, they stayed in place even during moderate activity - but they never felt comfortable on my ears. The instructions were sufficiently straightforward but the illustrations did not match the unit (they were reversed left-to-right) - I only noticed that because I went back to the instructions to see if I was doing something wrong placing them on my ears. Navigation and volume are handled using a small three-button switch - and while the switch functions correctly, I had trouble differentiating between the buttons by touch alone. And because the earbuds are ear-specific, left-handed people will need to navigate with their right hands. The sound, for me, was very thin and tinny - the sound for every type of music I listened to felt incomplete. I was also aware of strange bits of distortion that were not part of the music or of the bluetooth connection - like the sound of an FM radio in an area of poor reception (some distortion was unprompted and some came through when I took action on my iPod like navigating between albums or plugging-in for charging). Finally, these earbuds don’t feel terribly solid and since the ear clips like to catch on the cord, I worry about how long it will take before they unintentionally lasso a passing object and meet their end.

Good idea, but needs work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the headphones out of the box and charged them for four hours as directed. That afternoon I used them while I mowed the lawn for maybe 45-30 minutes and successfully powered them off. The next afternoon I used them at the gym for maybe 20-30 minutes and again powered them down. By the following afternoon, when I went to use them the battery was dead. I charged them that night for five - six hours. Two days later I tried to use them at the gym and the battery was dead. I feel like the battery should not die when they are not in use!!! I ended up taking them back. Other than that, they are nice and light. They fit securely over my ears for the one time that I worked out with them.

Poor Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones because my last ones started to malfunction after a year. Pros: Very good battery life. That's about it and I haven't even been able to use a full battery yet. Cons: The ear gels have the company logo extruded on them causing severe discomfort. There is a set that doesn't but they don't fit my ear properly. I used them anyway. Day three of having them and they have already started acting up. I am taking these back today. DO NOT BUY THESE!!! They are no good!

JLAB earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Started out really wanting to like these. I did the burn in to help the sound, but didn't make much difference. The sound is very flat, no bass at all but the volume is good. The really bad part is that after two weeks they will not turn on unless they are plugged in to charge and then it will tell you the battery is full. Really disappointed and was a waste of $100.00. Save yourself the frustration and look at something else because these will leave you disappointed.

Can't maintain a connection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow. I'm shocked by the high scores these headphones receive. I'm with the others that share my frustration with the connection. Constantly cutting in and out with any type of movement activity (iPhone 6 in my pocket, so less than 3ft away!). This is not my first pari of BT headphones so I expected, you know, for them to just work. I'm going to try the JayBird X3 next.

Piece of Junk!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm about to return my second pair of these earbuds in less than 2 weeks. They are flimsy, the sound isn't that great, the wire is a stiff plastic compared to the soft rubberized plastic on some other earbuds, and their weird wire ear hooks don't hold the earbuds in place. On the most recent pair they stopped working on the second charge. I'm hoping that with the extended warranty the store will permit me to replace these with something else. I don't want another pair of these. They are just awful.
