They do not turn off when using the on/off button and the only way to do so is to disconnect them from the device to which they are connected by Bluetooth. The other option is to reset them by holding both the volume up and down buttons simultaneously. In addition, the light showing that they are charging/charged do not light up when they are plugged in to an outlet.

Didn't Last 3 months

This set didn't make it past 3 months. Headphones cut out on me when working out, would disconnect, and I could not pair it again. Much worse than the cheap ones I bought from "Geek" which were $5 and last 2 years. I got another JLab replacement, but if it does what the other 3 did--I'm done with this company's product.
