JLab Audio Fitness Sport Earbuds are very attractively priced. They offer good sound quality for the money. The dangling cord was annoying and the earbuds were a little stiff, but for good quality audio at this price point, they are a good value oriented choice.

I'll start with my one gripe about this thing, and for someone like me who is not used to over the ear clips of this sort -- it takes me about half a minute to get the fit right so it stays, but it seems it will stay on better than other earbuds where it was always an issue on the treadmill (etc.) where one earbud or the other would fall out. The sound is nice, I like the range of frequencies. I did notice, in fairness, that on phone versus tablets (and I guess model of each) the sound quality varied. That may have more to do with the other devices/configurations.

These sports style headphones will help you block out the world around you while you when it’s time to work out. They are cheap and they do the basic job intended, pushing sound to your ears without wires or others hearing it. The Good: For a cheap pair of Bluetooth headphones, these are easy to use and have great battery life. The box indicates 6+ hours of playtime, and that was borne out out in my usage. These charged with a standard micro USB connection that don’t require a dongle or similar adapter that some, more expensive, headsets use. These are sweat proof for your workouts or in the rain. They are easy to pair, quickly linking up with your favorite Bluetooth source. The controls are large and easy to feel while you are wearing them. The Bad: There’s very little depth to the sound with these headphones. While these work well for podcasts, music suffers greatly. They reproduce mid tones well but there is a definite drop off in both high notes and low notes. The headset comes with several different tips you can find your perfect tips. It even comes with Comply foam for those that prefer to avoid silicon. These hold onto your ears with stiff wires. They generally work well, but can be difficult to get into the exact right position the first time. After fitting them, they are decent for 30-60 minutes of usage. The Rest: JLab has gone to great lengths to create a pair of affordable Bluetooth earbuds. These will meet the needs of books on the budget without much concern about sound quality. There are much better options starting around $50-$60 from JLab and others. Bluetooth can sound much better than what these deliver.

Overall, I'll stick to my more expensive, but better quality Plantronics BackBeat Fit and Fit 3100 series sets. At the $30 asking price, I think the JLab FitSport3 perform very well and definitely warrant a look depending on your needs. I've never been too big of a fan of the dangling wire on the "semi-wireless" earphones. At least this set comes with a shirt clip and that adds a star. I'm not a fan of the wireless buds with a neck band, adding the clip will keep the wires from jumping around too much. The sound is decent with great bass, a decent mids, the highs are pretty "tinny" sounding though; like talking through a tin can. Controls are easily accessible and provide enough functionality to not need to use the phone to do much other than provide content. Bluetooth connection seemed fine; I don't think I've owned a headset yet that if the phone is in a cargo pocket or back pocket and turn just right it cuts outs for a second. Fit? Given that the wireless charge lasts up to six hours, I don't think you would need to worry about it lasting longer if you are planning to wear them continuously. The "Flexible Memory Wire", while convenient in holding the buds in your ears, is not all that comfortable. More than 2 hours and I think you will be ready to move on. While I see the idea behind the "Flexible Memory Wire" I think the reality is that you will be having to adjust these each time you go to put them on as the "flexible" wire will flex in storage. It's a cost cutting measure for sure. In which you cannot argue with the cost for a "wireless" setup, with decent sound. If you are on a budget for semi-wireless ear-clip earbuds, I think you get a pretty good bang for buck. I recommend these if you are just getting in to wireless headphones, want a cheap pair to work in the yard or for fitness, or a cheap set for your kids. Looking at the other headsets in this price range, I think its the best option if you are wanting an "ear-clip" style and not an "ear-bud" with or without a neck band.

These headphones sync up with my Bluetooth perfectly. They play music and take phone calls just as good as the $500 headphones do. It is an honor to have met such a wise purchasing decision. I picked them because at the moment I didn't have the money and I needed headphones but I consider this one of the better mistakes I've made.
