Sometimes you have to take out both earbuds out of the case in order for the one earbud you want to use to connect via Bluetooth. 2. Phone calls are not always clear for the person calling you. She uses these a lot every day and needed a long battery life and these deliver! They connect well to her phone and the sound quality is good. I do recommend these - and will be buying her more - only because she recently lost a pair.
