Its a great feature to be able to use just one for music or a call so my other ear can hear everything going on around me while biking. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars for two reasons: firstly because the bass could be a lot better, I have to turn it all the way up to get the regular base my other set gives me at about one third volume; and secondly I'm only able to get 3 to 4 hours of music out of them, not the 5 hours as advertised but 4 hours is still pretty good. And I used them for a 2 hour call once with no problems.

However, They're not the greatest for moving around too much, they seem to fall out pretty easily. (Which is why they get 4 stars) If you want to try a pair out you don't have to feel guilty if you lose one since they're cheap. I know I was afraid the open case would be a problem, and they're not. I really love that the USB is connected directly so I don't need to carry a cord, and it's not heavy enough to cause a problem while charging if plugging it into a wall wart.
