Simply because who STILL wants that wrap around the ear type of ear buds? Reminds me of the early 2000s. I could not get them right, wouldn’t stay on & certainly not if you wear glasses.

It is an odd shape clip so I was not able to use until i made another trip to store. Product useless without this.

Before that, the sound was fine for the price point. Guess I’ll have to toss these into the graveyard, since I’m beyond the point of return. Nobody should be dealing with customer service mere weeks after purchasing.
