We got them on special deals. Each set exhibited the same behavior where the left side suddenly stopped working. We read online things to try to reset or resync and nothing worked.

Honestly, I was pretty excited to try these out with my phone, but the second I played a song on my device, I regretted it immediately. The touch controls are not that intuitive, sometimes triggering Google Assistant instead of controlling the volume. The volume itself is nothing to write home about as it always sounds low even when turned up to max. The "Custom EQ Sound" hyped on the box? Yeah, pointless. It does next to nothing. And don't even worry about getting the special app hyped in the "users guide", as it just acts as a selling page for other JLab Audio products and the whole "Audio Break-In" thing is a bunch of malarky. All in all, these are not worth $20...heck, they're hardly worth $10. Spend a little more money and get something better.
