Simply put, I wish I got these a year ago... would have saved sooo much weight on my neck. These are extremely light weight, and sleek. not a lot of bulk. Very easy to pair (one button), turn on and off with one button. I use these with my MacBook, and they seamlessly work with Teams, Zoom, and just about anything else I have tried them with. The microphone is easy to position, up and down, and up mutes it. A simple center ear button turns the mic on and off as well. Battery life. I haven't drained it yet. I leave it on for almost 2 full days, and still has power. Uses the current USB-C cable that comes with it, and charges quickly. The voices are clear and easy to hear. These are NOT music headphones (and wasn't expecting them to be). So for videos and other items, you may not get the deep sound you want, but it would be adequate. For what they are at the price point... home run

    Really Good Office Headphones

These headphones are comfortable (important for office/remote office use), sound really good (they might not be quite audiophile sound quality but still very good), and are easy to use. Oh, and they work really well with my hearing aids. I did notice deeper base sound without those hearing aids, but overall the sound was more pleasing and better balanced with hearing aids in place. I had hoped to be able to connect to my TV via Bluetooth but was not successful in doing so most likely because I have an older TV. These phones come with a USB-C charging cable and a (short) mini stereo to USB-C cable, but do not offer any means of connecting up to your audio devices. A charge lasts long enough for all day use, but if you are concerned, you can still charge them when listening through them. A microphone is attached for use in those necessary video conferences. However, I did not use it, so I cannot offer an opinion about it other than it can be easily swiveled out of the way and will remain in that position. I found it to be a surprisingly good selection.

    Comfortable, Standard Headset for Work

JLab always puts out a quality product. They may not always be the flashiest or craziest thing out there, but they get the job done and do it well. This headset is no exception. Call audio quality is great, form factor is very comfortable for those long meetings we'd all rather skip, and they are bluetooth as well. If you're like me and you like to turn the camera off and pace around sometimes while a call is going, these will be a great fit for you. The battery life seems to be very good as well. I can get through more than a full week of work without charging. When they do need to charge, it charges pretty quickly, though not as quickly as say your phone quick charging. The only drawback to these that I can say is that you do need to take care of them. If you're rough on your electronics, these may break on you. They work well with a variety of apps including Teams, Slack, Discord, Zoom, and Meet. As long as your computer can handle a bluetooth connection, these will help your online meetings fly by without issue.

My higher dollar gaming headset suddenly stopped charging after several years of extremely heavy use and I didn't have the funds for anything fancy so I picked these up as a 'for now' solution. These are actually really nice. Easy to pair, extremely long battery life, fast charging, good sound quality but not noise cancelling (they do muffle a lot of sound) they don't hurt after wearing them for hours at a time nor do they make my ears sweat! Honestly I think I'll just keep using these till they die.

Great budget headphones with multiple connections

I really like these headphones, especially for the price. They have a nice cushioned adjustable head strap. They have nice soft cushion ear cups. The ear cups have independent movement so they can sit properly on both ears. The boom mic is mounted on the right earpiece and rotates up and down. It can rotate over 180 degrees, so if you want the mic on the left side, just flip the headphones around and rotate the mic into place. (Note that the stereo audio will be reversed if you do this.) One of the things I really like about these headphones is the multiple ways that they can be connected to your audio source. They are primarily wireless Bluetooth connected. If Bluetooth isn’t an option for you, they include a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone cable. You can plug the USB-C connection into the headphones and the 3.5mm jack into your audio device. Instead of using the Bluetooth, the headphones are now using the wire for audio. While they include a USB-A to USB-C cable as well, this cable can only be used for charging the headphones. There are however 3rd party companies that offer 3.5mm to USB-C or USB-A adapters. You can then use the headphone cable to get your audio from a USB-A or USB-C port. My wife currently uses one of these at work. Some of the PCs don’t have a 3.5mm headphone jacks. Instead of having to create a Bluetooth connection to each PC she works on, she can plug in the 3.5mm headphone cable or use the adapter to connect via USB. She really likes that option. Overall, the sound from these headphones is pretty good for the price. The headphones have 4 buttons on the earcup with the microphone. You have a power button, volume up and down, and a mute button which is located on the earcup where the microphone attaches. Using the buttons you can turn the headphones off and on, adjust the volume, track forward, track back, play, pause, answer and hangup calls, reject calls, activate Siri or “Ok Google”, hear yourself, pair the headphones, mute the microphone, and switch between voice and music EQ. It’s done with combinations of buttons, multiple presses of buttons, and long presses of buttons. It takes a while to get used to all the uses of the buttons so you will probably want to keep the manual handy for a while. I like the headphones. My wife likes them so much she is using them every day at work. The multiple ways of connecting them makes them ideal in her work environment I highly recommend these headphones for those on a limited budget.

Affordable, long battery, mediocre sound quality

THE GOOD - Long battery life - Passive wired auxiliary mode - Multi-point Bluetooth connection - On-the-ear design has benefits THE BAD - Average audio quality over Bluetooth - Active Bluetooth profile can get mixed up, resulting in garbled audio - Short aux and charging cables - Limited Bluetooth range TL/DR As a primary telephone/teleconference headset, the GO Work has great value in terms of raw performance for price. As an all-around headset for work, music, and movies, the limited audio quality and sometimes finicky profile mode with computers limits its appeal. DETAILS The first thing I really like about the GO Work is the on-the-ear design. Neither on-the-ear nor over-the-ear designs are inherently better than the other, but it is important to recognize the trade-offs they require. Full over-the-ear cups can house larger drivers which tend to recreate a fuller spectrum of audio. Combined with the natural passive noise canceling of encasing your entire ear in foam, over-the-ear headphones are the preferred design when audio fidelity is the primary concern. However, their very design also makes them heavy, hot, and sometimes the noise cancellation is a bad thing. Earbuds are much lighter and more portable, but the smaller size means a smaller battery and limited bass response ( not to mention the annoying amplified noise when you eat or chew gum when wearing them ). An on-the-ear design can still have good audio quality, but is much lighter, doesn't block out ambient sounds, and is often more comfortable to use when wearing glasses. All of these reasons make it a great option for work and office spaces. The GO also adds an impressive battery, a 4-pole wired auxiliary connector for passive operation, and multi-point Bluetooth ( it can be connected to two devices at once ) for about half the price of many other wireless headsets. So why only 3 stars? First, the included cables are rather short. The GO's advertised feature of being able to still operate while charging is negated by a 24" charge cable ( unless for some reason you regularly keep your head within two feet of your desktop/laptop ). You can buy a longer USB-A to USB-C cable for charging, but that starts undermining the GO's low price advantage. The proprietary USB-C to 4-pole 3.5mm cable for wired connections is only 36" long. That's fine if you're plugging into your phone in your pocket. But for laptop/desktop use, that doesn't even let you standup or lean back from a desk. Going wireless offers a lot more range, but not as much as I'm used to with other Bluetooth devices. Even going into the next room 20 feet away sometimes dropped the connection. The big downside of the GO Work is the Bluetooth audio quality. It's more than adequate for teleconferences, phone calls, and all manner of voice communication. If you want it to pull double duty to listen to music while you work, or watch videos after hours, you'll be disappointed if you have discerning ears. The GO Work sounds a little thin and tinny and only supports basic AAC and SBC ( no apt-X, LDAC, or any other high-definition codecs ). The less than stellar audio can be expected, even overlooked, for such a low-cost headset. However my sample had some weird problems defaulting to the hands-free/headset Bluetooth profile ( HFP/HSP ) rather than regular audio streaming ( A2DP ), especially on a Windows computer. For those that don't know, Bluetooth has many different protocols and profiles that specify how a device can use the limited bandwidth available between the linked devices. The A2DP streaming profile uses all bandwidth to send audio data to the headset, so the music you hear is as high a bitrate as Bluetooth allows. HFP/HSP splits the bandwidth for each direction, so your mic can still send audio to your phone or computer while you're also listening to something else. Less bandwidth means audio details need to be dropped in order to be compressed enough to send over the Bluetooth link. When I first used the GO Work, it seemed to switch back and forth, even when I wasn't using the mic, or any application that would want to use the mic. Audio would go from normal to poor quality, sometimes becoming nothing more than intermittent pops and tones. This happened on both my phone and computer, but seemed to happen more often while I was using the multi-point simultaneous connection. After a few hours of troubleshooting, I forced the GO to default to the A2DP profile on my computer, but that practically disabled the HSP and mic. After fully uninstalling the headset from my computer ( not just unpairing the headset, but wiping the drivers from Windows ) I re-paired the headset and things seemed to work properly. If you're having problems with Bluetooth audio quality on a headset, make sure your computer sees two devices: regular stereo headphones, and a hands-free headset. Set the stereo headphones as the default device and the hands-free headset ( both audio output and mic input ) as default communication device. Windows should then be able to use the proper audio profile for whatever application you're currently using. As for whether I'd recommend the GO Work, that depends on the application. For an office headset for calls and conferencing, I much prefer using the GO Work over Plantronic and Jabra models costing three and four times as much. As a "do everything" headset, it will do in a pinch, but I'd much rather spend a little more to get something more entertainment friendly with better audio quality and HD codecs.

The JLab - GO Work wireless office headset is a solid product for a great price. At first, I thought the ear cushions looked too small to be that useful, but I was wrong. Not only do they fit well and feel super comfortable, but the sound was much better than I was anticipating at this price-point. I did not experience any 'wear fatigue' at all. Being able to connect simultaneously to my MacBook and iPhone was great - and the sound quality for phone calls was excellent on both ends. For this price range, I have no complaints at all. Great product.

Jlab has made a great inexpensive set of headphones for use in a office environment. I guess great for the mobile office and trucker as well, now that I think about it. With Bluetooth connectivity, volume, track, play, pause, answer and hang up controls at your fingertips. The microphone is a boom mic that also rotates for the perfect setting. Type-C usb charging port, so they are on point with that. The Bluetooth also allows multiple connections, up to two devices! With the app you can adjust the EQ which helps some, but \don't expect to be blown away with the audio here, listening to tunes at a lower volume sounds okay but I would definitely only recommend these for talking on the phone or using during conference calls. The box says you get 50+ hours of worktime but I got 48 hours, almost on the dot. I hooked these up to both my laptop and cell phone at the same time and had zero issues. They do get a little sore after about 6 hours of continuous use but I find most headphones of this style do that. They come with a charging cord if needed, be sure to charge it up out of the box.

Good call quality, but not very comfortable

Pretty good on-ear headphones with boom mic that's best for calls, with the main drawback being somewhat uncomfortable fit. Call quality is very good, with excellent ambient noise cancellation by the mic -- testing it by shuffling and stomping my feet in gravel while on a call resulted in only a minimal scratching noise in the background on the other end, with my voice still coming in clearly. Sound quality when listening to music is decent, with clear high frequencies -- however, bass is fairly mediocre (not surprising for on-ear headphones) and mids can be a little muddled. Since these aren't over-ear headphones, you won't get the best sound isolation nor soundstage either. Bluetooth pairing/connection is quick and easy, and range is pretty impressive -- there was no dropout when I walked 50-60 feet away in my house around a corner. Build quality is solid, with no flimsiness or creaking. The arm length can be adjusted easily with satisfying clicks, staying that way securely. Buttons are basic and easy to reach, with a pretty standard interface. Charging is via USB-C. The main downside is comfort, for two reasons. First, these headphones are a little tight, and it doesn't matter how big your head is (I have a big one, my wife's is smaller, but we both found it a little uncomfortable after a short while). Second, the earpiece material (a sort of fake leather) doesn't breathe well, and makes my ears get warm pretty quickly (like within 5 minutes). So I wouldn't want to wear these for prolonged periods.

Great occasional headset, lacks all day comfort

I work remotely and typically spend 5 to 8 hours, per day, in meetings.  This makes me exceptionally picky about how comfortable and easy to use my headsets are.  The JLab GO Work is nice, lightweight, and has great functionality, the fact that I cannot wear them all day without discomfort is the reason for the rating. The headset comes with a USB-C cable and a 3.5mm cable for wired use, however this review is only based on Bluetooth connection.  Setup was quick and easy, I powered on, and searched for Bluetooth devices from my Windows laptop.   I liked that the headset was easy to connect with multiple different communication programs such as Chime, Zoom, and Teams.  The sound quality is great, and not one where you can't hear yourself speak.  The feedback from others was that I was easy to hear and nearby background noise did not come through.  The boom  mic swivels 180 degrees, so can be used on the left or right side.  Mute is the large button on the same side as the boom, with a red LED indicator on the tip of the mic as a visible mute indicator.  Sound control is also on the boom side with a plus / minus toggle button, power is a press and hold button just below that, followed by the USB connection port at the bottom of the ear piece.  This headset does not come with a ton of bells and whistles, but it does the limited function it does have very well.  There are two EQ settings, music or work.  Both are as expected, with slight notice that the music setting gives slightly more range and sound depth. The build of the headset is of sturdy quality.  I'm likely not to break them in the first month of daily use, which isn't something I can say about many headsets in this price range.  The headband adjusts to fit for size, the ear cups are light weight foam, but not replaceable. I found that no matter how I adjusted the headband I either had pressure on the top of my head or, more commonly, the pressure from the foam made my ears hurt after a few hours of steady use.  Overall, a great headset for ease of use, functionality, price, quality, and sound.  Unfortunately just not that comfortable if you are in it for all day marathons.  I highly recommend it for someone who is looking to use them for the occasional meeting.

For the Money these are pretty good

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

First I want to be clear that these headphones in no way compare to Bose Quite Comfort headsets or similar, however for the price this are a decent solution for my use case. I do have a pair of Bose that I was taking back and forth from the office. I have the occational need for headset at the office mainly for the purpose of reviewing audio files or simply block out noise and perhaps a video conference (which I have NOT used for that) I did NOT want to invest a lot of money in a pair that I may use only once a week or so, hence I purchased these. Had no issues pairing and using. The sound quality is OK and the battery life is totally fine for me. I have only been using for about 6 hours, and for this use case it is totally fine. Just to repeat for the money these are great BT headset, but if you are an audiofile or require noise cancelling technology you will need to invest more money. If you are needing higher end the Bose are great but the new Sony BT over the Ear Headsets are great too. Cannot go wrong with either in my opinion. If I had to say anything negative about these it would only be the blue color of the charging cables - Just a bad color -

Well... I typed my entire review and hit submit... the first time. But then I didn't hit it the second time. You can imagine. I really like the look of the headset and I like it's functions. Simple, but nice looking, bluetooth device - basically the headset with the attached mouthbar/piece. The headset is not too big, but rather the right size. You can rotate the mouthbar/piece up when not in use or down when in use. The controls are physical and on the right ear; except for one control, which happens to be my favorite feature. You can mute from the headset. You just tap the right ear to mute and tap it to unmute. The end of the mouthbar/piece illuminates red when mute is on. I just love that entire feature. Beware, the end of the mouthbar/piece is not in your natural line of sight so you will have to train your eye a bit with looking over to the right a bit. I say you have to train your eye because otherwise it will seem like you are always straining to see it, and you can't just turn your whole head because, guess what, the mouthbar/piece will turn with it. It only takes a few times to feel comfortable enough to not strain. So it's nothing. And despite that it is my favorite feature. Call and meeting quality is the same. You can clearly hear what is being said, however, it does not sound crystal clear. There is a slight muffle to the sound. Like I said, you can easily hear. But not crystal clear. Why only 3 stars. Well, the lack of crystal clarity is a rather small con. The big and most important con is this headset really hurts my ears and head. It is too tight on my head. I try to hold out, but then eventually I have to get it off of my head, literally within 30 minutes. My meetings are long so that will not do. And 30 minutes is me really trying to hold out. So it's a solid 3 stars because what good are the features if I can't wear the headset. And by the way, my head is not big, rather I use to be told that my head is small. So it's not a head-size thing. So do I recommend? At your own risk. But since I can't be neutral, then, no. They hurt. Simple. Peace.

I've been using these headphones for over a week and for the most part am very pleased. Most importantly, the fit is soft and comfortable and the sound quality is good. The headphones connect very quickly so that when I get a work call I can turn them on, let them connect, and still have time to answer the call rather quickly. On the downside, there have been a few times when the headphones have dropped the connection during a call for a few seconds. And there was also a time when they stopped working for my work calls (on Teams) but still worked for other computer sounds. I could not get them to work again until I rebooted the computer so I'm not sure if this is an issue with the headphones, the laptop, or Windows. I would also point out that for the microphone to work well it needs to be pretty close to your mouth. When further away others had difficulty hearing me. Overall, these are very good for the price and I would recommend. It is very nice to not have a corded headset for work.

For the past year, I have been working from home and staying in touch with staff through teleconferencing software. A set of headphones is crucial to work without disturbing housemates. These Go Work headsets are ideal, comfortable and effective. Pairing was painless and quick. The headsets have a padded headband and padded "on the ear" earcups and are very comfortable, even for extended meetings. The headsets work well, the sound is clear and the microphone does an excellent job of picking up my speech, my coworkers said they could hear me clearly. Teleworking is here to stay, these headsets make teleworking much easier.
