Great kids headphones!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headphones for kids with volume limiting and extra stickers for the outside of the headphones! They fold up nicely for storage in a bag...but that's not included. Overall they're very nice at a good price.

Good Child's headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these for my 5 year old son and he absolutely loves them. I like that he won't be able to hurt his ears using these as they only reach a certain decibel. They fold up into a nice compact form.

Great first set of headphones for young children
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jbuddies headphone's big selling point is that it limits the sound volume below 85dB to ensure a safe listening experience for young children between the ages of 2-8 years. There is a volume regulator on the exterior of the right ear cup to control the maximum volume for the headphone. Despite being constructed entirely of plastic, the adjustable headband is very flexible. These are considered on-ear headphones since the earcups rest entirely on the ear. I was concerned at first that the on-ear headphone would be uncomfortable for my eight year old daughter, but the cushions were soft and she was able to wear them for over an hour without reporting any discomfort. The ear cups measure 2” in diameter. However, I would have preferred that Jlab designed the headphones with over-the-ear earcups to maximize comfort for children's ears. My eight year old daughter really had fun with the headphones. She enjoyed sticking the monkey stickers and the Jlab logo stickers that came with the headphones onto the exteriors of the ear cups. As a parent I liked the fact that even at the maximum volume, I'm re-assured that the headphones really don't get that loud. I also liked that the headphones can be folded compactly to facilitate storage and transport. In general children tend to be rough on things. I'm not sure how long these headphones will last. The weak link in any wired headphones is, well, the wires. When the wires go bad, you will either lose audio to one or both sides of the headphones. This is true for all wired headphones. It would have been nice if Jlab designed the headphones with a detachable 3.5mm audio cord. This way you can simply replace the wire and wouldn't have to toss out a perfectly good set of headphones just because the wire went bad. In terms of audio quality, for this price range, you really cannot expect too much. They are average sounding, consisting mostly of mids, with a tad of bass. It is definitely lacking in clarity and crispness, but heck, these headphones are designed for kids, so they won't know the difference unless they are offsprings of audiophiles. All in all, the Jbuddies headphones will appeal to young children and parents. It is comforting to know that the Jbuddies headphones will help keep the audio to a safe listening level.

Work perfectly for what their made for
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't expect super high quality speakers, but for the price these are perfect for young kids. The design is colorful and fit my four year old very good. The sound can be a little hard to hear, but I like the limiter that keeps it from playing too loud in little kids' ears. This is a great starter to get kids used to wearing headphones. It is worth every penny to give parents some quite time while the kids watch their shows.

Great for kids
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fit my 2 year old perfectly. He only tugged at it for a few seconds before he settled in and watched an entire movie on a road trip. The fit is adjustable. When I slipped it on myself it was comfortable and the sound was excellent. Only thing that would make it better would have been to make it wireless.

Great Headphones for kids!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son absolutely loves these. He was especially excited that they came with customizable emblems, so he could make them his own. I personally like that these have volume limiting capabilities to protect his hearing, and that they fold up so they fit nicely in his backpack.

Great for kids!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things are great for kids overall. My child is 4 and went crazy for them when he saw them. As a parent I feel they are very appropriate for the age and safe for child use. They packaging is barely bigger than the headphones and is rather straight forward. Upon opening, the device itself is perfect size for children and is an on the ear form factor so it will allow a decent amount of sound to come in from the outside. The stickers come in a variety of designers that the child can put on the ear portions. The stickers shift shape when you move them. The blue design is fun for kids, they are lightweight, and fold up for travel. Sound quality was a bit hard to test since it was hard to wear them as an adult. Surprisingly there is a good amount of bass on these, there is very little detail on the higher notes though and sounds a little flat. For what they are they are pretty good headphones overall and I am sure kids will not be obsessing over sound quality, I would rate them at a 6/10 when compared to a good pair of adult headphones. Concerning safety, the maximum volume is relatively low to protect kids hearing. The build quality feels above average compared to similar products. They are made of plastic but feel much sturdier than others I have tried and will probably stand up well to toddler abuse.

Kid Jams
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's for kids so no, it doesn't have any high tech features, it doesn't deliver very low and very high frequencies. It's like listening to a mid range speaker. It's made for kids between 2-8 years old. 2 year old, really? Not for this daddy. Call me old fashioned. It's a good thing it has a volume limiter which the kids discovered very quickly. It's an on ear type of headphone with cushions for the ears but no where else. The top of the headphone is just plastic but the kids aren't complaining. It has a right angle connector, well more like 100 degree, which is nice. The cable has a rubbery plastic feel to it and a gold connector. The headband is adjustable for a big adult head. Really. Oh and it comes with 3D stickers that the kids can stick on the headphone or the wall. It's built well and it really feels like it can take a beating. The kiddos really like it.

Great headphones for the little ones!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great for kids, they can fold up and they come with stickers to customize. The box says for 3-8 year olds. I had my 6 and 9 year old test them. They both liked the headphones and found it comfortable. The earbuds they sometimes use doesn't stay in their ear well and tend to fall out. My son immediately took it and plugged it into his iPad and used it to watch Minecraft videos on YouTube. I tested them out when he finally put them down and they seem sturdy and the volume did not go up too loud. Now they can take this with them in the minivan to plug in for the DVD player in the back. No need to fight over the wireless headphones that come with the minivan! Overall I'd say this is an excellent choice if you're looking for headphones for the kids. Fairly inexpensive, sturdy and kid friendly.

Better than average kids headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone through a significant number of kids headphones in my house, between a 10 year old, a 6 year old, and a 2 year old, they are hard on headphones, both in the car and otherwise. These are holding up to their abuse quite well and I they are well made! I like the smaller earcup design. This limits the comfort zone for the users - my 2 year old is perfect in them, 6 year old doesn't mind them, and the 10 year old thinks they're too small, which is okay since she's out of their recommended range anyway. I like the folding action - this is the number one most common cause of crushed/destroyed headphones in our family. The folding action causes you to have to constantly adjust the length of the sides of the earphones, but this is a small tradeoff. Decent construction, well made earcups, adjustable sizes with a snug fit, inline volume controls with volume limiting, these check all my boxes for a good pair of kids headphones.

My Son Loves These!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son loves these! I can’t believe we finally found a pair of headphones he likes and is willing to wear regularly. He‘s an 8yo who uses these for homework and while entertaining himself on his tablet during the evenings and road trips (which are common for us). Before these, we tried several headphones but he kept tossing them aside. They were either too heavy, too tight, or kept falling off his head. These fit snugly on his head without being too tight. He likes them so much, it has helped motivate him during his computer homework time.

Perfect for little ears!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 8 year old LOVES these headphones! He plugged them into his phone and initially thought they were broken but it turns out there is a separate volume control knob on one side. Once he turned that up I couldn't get him to take them off! The cord is also a good length and allows him to move around without having to keep his phone in his hand at all times. These do have a lower volume limit so they can't be turned up super loud which is perfect for little ears.

My son won't take them off!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these for my (almost) 4-year-old as the cheap pair that he received for Christmas are almost trash-can worthy. So far, the build quality of these is much higher than other "kids" headphones I have seen which should (hopefully) allow them to last longer. The sound quality falls quite short of good but is acceptable for the intended audience. I do like that there is volume limiting circuit built-in to keep him from blasting too much sound into his tiny eardrums. Overall, I'm quite happy with these and hope they will provide much enjoyment for my little guy.

Ok headphones, nothing really special
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my 5 and 6 year old sons try these out and its kind of hard to determine whether they liked the headphones or the fact that they got something new, but they both said they like them. The main thing I liked about these headphones is that they limit the maximum amount of decibels that can be heard through them. My kids both have tablets and when we are on road trips, i prefer they use headphones so my wife and I don't have to hear them. I give them four stars only because of the sound limiting feature. Other than that, these are pretty basic headphones.

Great Little Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these headphones for my son. He really likes how compact they are, and how easy they are to fold. The sound quality was pretty good. They come with stickers, allowing kids to choose the sticker they want to place on the outer portion of the headphone. Great way of allowing them to customize the look they prefer.
