Not the greatest quality, but works for kids, you get what you pay for

We recently took a trip out of town so it was the perfect time for my 6 year old son to use these headphones. He loved them, I tried them on and they sound pretty good for how small they are. He thought they were very comfortable and really liked the fact that he could choose what sticker to put on the side of the headphones. my only gripe with the headphones is they feel really flimsy. For being a product made to be used and abused by kids they do not feel like they will withstand much. so far so good and would recommend to anyone looking for a pair for their kids.

We have been needing headphones for our autistic son who has been spending a lot of time on the family computer. We battle back and forth over the tv volume and computer volume so we decided to try these headphones for him. We really like the fact that these headphones limit the volume that they produce so my son does not hurt his ears. The sound quality is very good and our son likes them and says they are comfortable. We kind of wish there was an extra strap or something to add a little security from them falling off, but otherwise we have no complaints.

If your main concern is to limit the loudness to your child's ears, these are wonderful headphones. The volume limiter does effectively reduce the loudness of the sound coming from the headphones. When comparing them to a similar volume reducer child safety headphones I own, the sound is crisp and allows for a slightly higher volume, but within the range of a safe sound level. These headphones work best when there isn't a lot of ambient sound. They worked well in a car ride, but my child couldn't use them at a hockey game. The volume doesn't go high enough to compete with the loudness of the crowd. Otherwise, in other environments, like at home or at a restaurant, these headphones produced enough sound to be functional and safe at the same time. It may be useful to point out that these headphones include a volume adjuster/dial on the outside of one of the ear cups. While this does allow for easy volume control, you will need to remind your child that he/she may need to adjust the volume on the headset, in addition to adjusting it on the device. While my son (5 year old) got the hang of it, younger children might struggle to work both volume levels. If that's the case, it might be easiest to leave the dial on the headset turned all the way up, and have your child only control the volume using the device. Since there's a volume limiter, leaving the dial on max will still not hurt their ears.

My husband purchased these at an airport kiosk for our Granddaughter. Unfortunately and disappointing, they did not work at all. He obviously bought a pair that were defective but what a disappointment for our Granddaughter once she was on the plane! They also appeared cheaply made to me.

The volume knob broke within a week, poor quality.

bought these in store without reading reviews. They were for my son for a plane trip. They are horrible! Almost no sound comes out of them and the ear pieces are too small even for my 3 year old. Save your money and don't buy these headphones. Complete waste of money.

Don't waste your money and time. It stop working within 4 hours of use. The second pair I purchased stopped working about 10 hours of use. I returned both for exchange and they're discontinued. No wonder!!

Daughter did not like. We purchased them due to the small size for our youngest daughter. She only had them on for 5 minutes before she was complaining they hurt her ears.

this product design is pretty bad! When my son wear it, it always clipped to my son's hair! Every time! Have to throw it away... don't buy it!!!

These are a pair of headphones just for kids. They limit the maximum volume to protect there hearing. The max volume is not that high, if there is a lot of noise around, these what is being listened to will be hard to hear. On a just 9-year-old, they were more on the ear than over the ear, so maybe just older kids will have to deal with outside sound more. She said they were comfortable, and liked the stickers that came with them. For the price, they have a good build quality. The ear cushions can be replaced if torn up. They adjust easily for a variety of head sizes. With only one adjustable input, sound, they are easy for little ones to control. They do what they say, more options would cost more, and you don't want to spend a lot on a kid’s device. For a few tablets and a computer, we tried them on, the sound was good. Great for kids. There is a JLab burn tool for headphones, they recommend for 40 hours, but for some kids headphones, I don't think it's necessary.

Tear went on one trip with us, and worked fine. They then sat for a few months, and when we went to use them again, nothing. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for headphones for you kid.

Did not have these very long and my daughter broke the ear piece. The plastic fitting broke, so they could not be put back together.

Tried it before leaving the parking lot of the store. Never worked again. Complete piece of garbage. Also, 15 day return policy. We eclipsed that on our trip. Luckily, it wasn't a fortune.

I bought this one for my son. Used less than a week and not working any more/ working intermittently. Will not recommend.

When I test out headphones, I tend to blare Imagine Dragons through them and see how they do with the heavy bass. That's not really the appropriate thing to do here, although output is limited to 85 dB so perhaps it is still a valid test, but for other reasons. Instead, these target the 2-8 year old so your child doesn't drive mom and dad crazy while they're playing on their tablet or other device. These are built small so fit is a key concern. For the age appropriate folks I had my niece/nephew try them on, they fit great for the 4 and 7 year old. For myself and my above avg size 10 year old, the headphones are too small but we're not the product's audience. Besides fit, the other key concern is volume safety and that's where the revamped Imagine Dragons test comes in. They are compact when folded and are adjustable to grow some but not much. Great idea for the younger crowd.

The first pair I bought did not work straight out of the box so I took them back and traded them for another pair period that paired lasted about 4 hours and quit working as well

Now worth it. Poor quality. They stopped working after a week. It was used only for couple of hours a day.

I absolutely love these headphones for my daughter. On the day we got them she used them for the rest of the day, listening to music and dancing. They stayed in place and never shifted off her head. They also feel very well built and durable. She loved picking a sticker to place on them. Now the best part...the volume limiter. I always worry when she uses headphones that she will put the volume too high and damage her eardrums or hearing. These have a built in volume limiter so they never go louder than a certain point. I tried them myself on the loudest volume and although loud, not so loud that I was in pain. Very nice! They also have their own volume control on one of the earpieces which is nice. Overall I am very pleased with these headphones, I wish I had them when my oldest was a small kid.
