I like JLab products because they are a good value especially when you are outfitting kids. These headphones have a nicely padded headband that is easy to adjust up or down. The earcups are soft and molded for smaller ears so they don’t slip off easily. The cable that goes from the headband to each earcup is a rubberized ribbon cable which is much sturdier than many headphones which just use a thin single wire. The main cable is a braided nylon cable and I like it much better than the typical thin rubberized cable you get on headphones in this price range. Overall the build quality is quite impressive for the price. Inside the earcup there is a volume limiter switch which is easy enough to find but not easy to identify whether its on or off so I made sure the limit switch was on by listening to them myself. With the pc volume on high I noticed quite a difference when I turned the limiter switch on. There is also a track control built into the main cable but its lacking a volume control which I think might have been more useful. The only downside with these headphones is the length of the primary cable which seems about a foot shorter than the other headphones I have bought for the kids.

    Great kids overear headphones

These headphones were the perfect addition to our car trip survival packs. These fit comfortably over the ears of 2 or our kids and on the ear of our oldest who probably should be using adult sized headphones anyway. These plugged into our switch and were able to muffle the noise in the car enough to hear all the sounds clearly without needing to be noise cancellation. The also were comfortable enough to be able to wear for hours without any issue. These are basic wired headphones that just plug in without needing to worry about batteries or switching them to the right settings. The also fold up neatly into a small size to make traveling with them easier. My only complaint is that the way the headphones expand and contract to adjust sizes has a lot of gaps and one of my daughters got her hair caught in it pretty good and needed help to untangle it. This happens with other headsets as well so not a huge deal, but a warning that if your kids is one of those types that likes it on their head while adjusting the size, then it’s better to set it as too small and expand it on your head than the other way around. Overall a great solid pair of headphones that are comfortable to wear for hours.

We purchased these headphones for our 3 year old. They are to be mainly used in our vehicle so he can list to PJ Masks or whatever he is hooked on, while we can listen to whatever is not going to make us want to scratch our eyes out. :-) All joking aside, I put the headphones on and they are plush and comfortable. My 3 year old is not one to wear headphones, but he kept these on for two hours straight during a trip. The sound quality is solid. I don't think my child needs HD quality audio so these work well. The volume is slightly low at max, but I assume that this is done in an abundance of safety for little ears. The only negative I have for these is the length of the cord. When using them with a tablet, the cord will be long enough. However if using them for an in-car DVD system, an extension wire will be necessary. I would recommend these to friends and family.

Is says "Designed for Ages 8+" Doesn't work. Well, it's good that you can control volume. But, kids tend to use their stuff in a hard way, like, pulling cables. So connector on this headphones is rather designed to a person that responsibly and carefully will connect and disconnect. But not for a 8+ kid. My son braked this within few month. Avoid.

The covering over the ear is perfect as well as the sound. However, the jackplug is of poor quality. The tip broke off in the tablet which is really unacceptable since it caused high repair cost. For that reason I am not recommending this product

I got these headphones for my 4 year old. I know these are for older kids but they work great. They fit his head and are really comfortable. He says he really likes them. The cord being fabric feels durable and stops tangles. My favorite thing about these is the ability to regulate the volume. He's smart enough to change the volume on his devices so this is an excellent safe guard that he can't figure out. They sound really good. I feel like these are headphones that he will be able to use for a long time. I only wish that I would have gotten the wireless ones.

Comfy, Tangle-Free, Good Sound – Perfect For Kids

These headphones are designed specifically for kids, and it truly shows. It has the full seal of approval from my nine-year-old and from me, her mom. We compared it to her now previous headphones, a set of Sony’s that retail for just about the same price. Right away we noticed the comfort factor—my daughter said these JLab ones were a lot more comfortable with the pillowy over-the-ear earcups (versus the on-ear ones of the Sony’s and others she’d had in the past). They don’t press on her ears at all and fit perfectly over them. She was able to adjust the lengths of the sides with ease, and she also liked that the headband has a pillowy cushion as well—again, her previous headphones haven’t had that feature (they were usually just plastic), and she said that with these headphones, when she bends her head down the headband stays put on her head rather than falling forward. A big plus in her book! Now to the sound. She tried it with the volume limiter on (and I did as well) and the sound was just too muffled to our ears; it wasn’t clear, as if you’re listening to music underwater, so I turned it off and it sounded much better. Clearer and better than her Sony’s. There is a clickable mechanism on the cord for play/pause, answer/hang up, reverse/forward tracks (compatible with Apple/Android/PC/Mac), and a microphone, too. The cord itself is great because it is made of a tougher braided-type material rather than the standard plastic covering of all other headphone wires, and this prevents the dreaded, inevitable tangling of the cord. And the cord is only attached to the right earcup (versus typically having wires coming out of both the left and right earcups) so that also greatly helps in preventing cord tangling. All in all, a win in our book; so much so that I am going to get another pair for my daughter to keep at school.

These headphones are a little small for a person with a very big head but otherwise they are extremely comfortable. The sound range is excellent and the build is very nice as well. The only real gripe I have is the cord is just a tad short for me. They work great for calls and music. There is a little issue with the build when used by kids. They will work fine and last a very long time if taken care of. If your kids are too rough or fight over these then they could break.

Great headphones for my daughter. She uses them a lot for online school, and has no problems hearing the class. In addition, the microphone works great as no one has any issues hearing her. She has also told me that they are way more comfortable than the headphones she previously had. Some of the features include a button that can pause and change songs on the wire, and a hidden loudness control that is pretty neat. She'll never know the button exists, so she can never listen to her music louder than a certain level. I put these on and tried listening to music on them, and the sound quality is pretty good. Won't blow your socks off, but has good deep bass which is perfect for the music that my daughter listens to. The only thing they could improve is a lack of volume control on the set. Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to put a volume control on the wire or somewhere on the headphones themselves so you don't have to adjust on the connected device. Overall, great product!

These are very good headphones for kids. They actually sound pretty good, better than I was expecting from kid's headphones. They go over the ear, rather than on the ear. My son actually prefers these more, but I'm sure it will differ from kid to kid. Just beware, that over ear headphones such as these really tend to block out more of the surrounding noise than other types of headphones, so your kid really won't be able to hear much going on around them. My only real issue is with the cord. It's a tad short for my liking, but they're made for kids, so I don't think it will be a big issue for most people. Overall, this is a really solid choice for kid's headphones.

Bought these headphones for my daughter for school. As she took these headphones out of her backpack, the left side completely disconnected from the main base, five wires in all became disconnected from the circuit board. Very shoddy manufacturing for the price.
