I originally wanted the Powerbeats Pro, but couldn't see myself spending $275 on a pair of wireless earbuds. I mean I would, but it just wasn't the right time. So, I looked at these and also the Epic ones. Finally decided on these and they are great. Sound is excellent, bass is spot on, they fit well in the ear, the loop over the ear fits well. Just one little issue that is almost enough for me to take them back and get my money back. The left earbud stops working often...too often; like it loses connectivity. I head back to town in a couple days and I will return them for a new pair hoping it was just a dud. I really like wireless earbuds. I have Beats over the ear headphones, but I prefer earbuds over the others. We shall find out in a couple days if it's going to continue with another pair or if it was just this one pair.

These earbuds work very well and were simple to set up on my phone. The battery life on these things is outstanding compared to all of the wireless earbuds I've used in the past at 6 hours before needing to go back in the case. To be honest, they have not reached that point yet, as the longest I've used them continuously so far is only about 4 hours. I have two problems with these. The size of the case is larger than I would prefer, however the size of the ear loops is the clear reason for this. The call quality was fine on my end, but my wife says I sound like I'm talking to her through a tunnel. Apparently, the microphones do not work correctly. I can't honestly drop an entire star from the review for these reasons, but I would drop 1 out of 10, so this should be a 4.5-star review. I don't talk on my phone much when running or working, so call quality does not weigh as heavily for me. The sound quality of music or audiobooks is near the top of everything I've used. I am amazed by the bass on these, although I do not consider myself an audiophile.

These are great for someone who wants the wireless technology and something that stays in your ear. The headphones look good and stay charged. I love the charging case it actually keeps your headphones safe. I also like the sound quality options. Great deal!

Great earbuds for work and working out good sound and fits nice and snug under my motorcycle helmet. Nice bluetooth range and battery. Only downfall are the touch sensors they are annoying lol. but i highly recommend these

I lost my powerbeats pro in class a while back. Rather than saving up to replace them, i went with these since i really like jlab. For android users: these are FOR your phone, rather than an apple collab product. You can customize button controls, adjust an equalizer, etc. App is super glitchy, but eh it could be worse. Only criticism is that at times, these have a noticable limit to how they handle bass (sometimes cackles on really bassy songs). These are a really affordable alternative to some of the more expensive brands, and overall sound pretty dang good.

JLab Audio has been around since 2005 and is a relatively new player to the personal audio market. They (seem to) specialize in low- to mid-range (based on standards from 10+ years ago) budget audio and have a full selection of wired, wireless, on-ear, in-ear and bluetooth speaker products. I say "based on standards from 10+ years ago," because I remember a time when buying a decent pair of headphones or earbuds didn't require $200 price tags like we've seen more and more of over the last several years. No, I'm not that old, but I do sometimes miss those days. Most other times, though, I'm a bit of a nut about my music experience. Any new headphones or earbuds that I buy have specific requirements around quality, comfort and performance, and I'm blessed enough to be able to say that often times the price tag isn't my biggest concern. Still, I respect those products that deliver a great experience without a premium price tag--and that is JLab's top-line mission ("without the rockstar price," they say). The JBuds Air Sport True Wireless headphones are the first of JLab's products I've tested. The packaging is simple and elegant: not overly large, but still utilizing magnets for holding the box shut giving it a great premium feeling. Inside the box, the buds rest inside their charging case, and everything is a very lovely and minimal matte black with only a small, unassuming logo on each earpiece. The buds themselves are a single, continuous piece of plastic that wraps around each ear, and it has a small set of included alternate ear tips allowing for the best fit. Visually, these are among the most basic-looking earbuds I've seen in a while, but not in a bad way; they are simple and elegant, just like the box they come in. The charging case is large--easily 4 times the size of an Airpods case--but nonetheless compact considering what is included. When the buds are put in the case, they are held in with magnets, and if you're on the people who find the Airpods "snap" sound satisfying, this should also scratch that itch for you (if you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't worry about it). The bottom of the case has a cutout/channel that holds an included, integrated USB Type-A cable for charging the case, and I find this to be a bit odd. While I certainly understand how nifty it is to not have to carry an additional cable around with you, and I think I can imagine why it was designed this way, I do have concerns about longevity of the cable since it doesn't appear to be replaceable (although, I think the case is around $10 to replace, so maybe not such a big deal). Moving on to the buds, they are an in-ear style that sit in the ear canal, and the ear hooks are small…seemingly too small upon first inspection…but fit very comfortably on my ears. One test I like to do with earbuds of all kinds is to see how they feel when I'm laying in bed, on my side, with my head on a pillow--and these are surprisingly comfortable in spite of hooking on the ears. Speaking of hooking on the ears…make sure you read the directions on how to put these on. Once you do it a few times it gets easier, but it's not immediately intuitive and even after a week of use, there are still times that I struggle to get them on quickly. Once they're on, though, they don't move. And pairing was simple; no awkward paring one to the other is required, as they connect to each other as soon as they are removed from the case. Overall, the design is great, as is the fit and comfort. But when examining the performance, things start to get interesting. For starts, consider that these are truly wireless earbuds for only $70, so I expect a few tradeoffs when compared to the Apple Airpods or the Jabra's Elite 65t. The buds boast a 6-hour battery life, and I found myself getting through listening sessions without any sort of discomfort or battery issues. The included case claims 34 additional hours of recharge time, allowing for up to 40 hours of use before needing to recharge the case; this is significant for truly wireless earbuds. And they're Bluetooth 5, which is great for a more budget-friendly offering. The audio performance, although it has a few quirks, is somewhere between "about what I expected" and "better than expected," but I think is perfect for the user that JLab is marketing toward. These provide a very balanced listening experience with a slight bias toward lower frequencies, and even at full volume the sound doesn't distort (although, I think this is because they don't get crazy loud…they are plenty loud at full volume without being overly uncomfortable). One weird design choice/quirk regarding the performance is JLab's three, predefined EQ settings that are accessed via the touch gestures (which I'll explain more later)…there is no companion app, no real sound customization, just straight functionality with a few options when it comes to balancing your sound. JLab Signature accentuates the lows and highs and happens to fit my preferred listening experience; Balanced provides a more flat experience, and Bass Boost…you can figure that third one out. This is weird because it seems that JLab presents this simplicity of experience as a feature, and I think it's executed well. I get that some people don't want to mess around with apps; I'm not one of them, but considering many companion apps are hot trash, maybe JLab figured they'd stick with what they're good at. Next are gestures, of which there are a lot. Each bud has a touch-sensitive area that can be tapped or held in various capacities providing different results. Single taps on either side changes the volume, and single tap + hold will skip tracks. Double tapping on the left activates your smart assistant, while a double tap on the right is for play/pause (side note--removing these from your ears mid-track will not pause automatically as with some other truly wireless earbuds). A triple tap on the left cycles through the aforementioned EQ settings, while a triple tap on the right activates or deactivates "Be Aware Mode," which allows you to hear what's going on around you. And when your phone rings or you are on a call, the gestures for the right bud change entirely but provide opportunities for answering, rejecting, and hanging up calls. Or in other words, the most complicated (and thorough) single list of gestures on any wireless headphones that I know of. The functionality is great, and while there aren't really any missing features when it comes to gestures, it is somewhat tricky to keep them all straight. I was really hoping tapping one while rubbing the other would activate some sort of developer mode, but I was disappointed. The only real down side to these buds is "Be Aware Mode," which I think had good intentions but a lackluster delivery. I found there to be a slight delay between actual sound and what is pushed through the speakers, which can be kind of annoying. The onboard microphones are incredibly sensitive, which is in some ways good if you want to eavesdrop on a conversation that is slightly out of your active hearing range, but not so great for phone calls. The sound that is pushed through when Be Aware Mode is on is extremely mechanical and tinny-sounding as well. That said, I don't think this one misstep should be a deal breaker. At the end of the day, for only $70, you get a relatively advanced set of earbuds that are IP66 sweat resistant, offer Bluetooth 5 and 40 hours of play time on a single charge of the case, great fit and a sleek design. The audio quality is exactly what it needs to be when you're going to the gym or for a run, or even if you're just sitting at work. You can control them with a set of gestures more complete than pretty much any other headphone on the market, and they're comfortable. Sure, you don't get the best customization options when it comes to sound or the best call performance, but if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive truly wireless earbud, you should certainly give these a look.

I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant to try another JLab pair of sports headphones. I had the JLab Epic Air and I came away unimpressed at their durability. Mine clonked out and simply stopped working, I'm guessing due to sweat damage. But I think JLab fixed those issues and I am very much satisfied with the performance of the Air Sport. Their only limitations are those inherent with truly wireless headphones, but their advantage is the superior fit, which in my mind, makes all the difference in the world. I think whenever you are purchasing headphones that it's important to know how you're going to be using them. Are you buying over the ears for comfort? Noise cancelling? For workouts and/or running? Something small to fit in your pocket that's versatile? I personally have several different pairs of headphones for different situations. My two main activities where I use headphones, however, would be traveling (where I have my go to Sony noise cancelling headphones that never fail me) and "sport" headphones for working out. I've struggled to find a good pair of sports headphones. Sometimes the battery life just isn't there and requires me to remember to charge them all too frequently, or the fit isn't great and they come out of my ears during runs, or they have connection issues. What originally drew me to the JLab Epic Air was the "hook" design. Much like Powerbeats, the Epic Air was one of only a few sport headphones that had hooks to help aid in keeping them on your ears during workouts. Personally, I find the plug in your ear design to fail me during workouts when I sweat a lot. But as I alluded to earlier, my JLab Epic Air's basically died. And I found the touch sensitive buttons on each ear piece to be so sensitive that my sweat could trigger them. So I had a great pair of fitting headphones that simply wouldn't work. I can honestly say, however, that JLab fixed those problems with the Air Sport and has delivered what I will deem as close to the perfect workout headphones. SETUP Setup is easy peezy, after charging the case with the ear buds in it of course, using the attached USB cable, you simply pull the ear buds out and tap the ear pieces for 3 seconds and go into pairing mode on your phone. It took me no longer than 10 seconds to accomplish. FIT To me, this is far and away the most important aspect of any workout headphone. While truly wireless ear buds might work in a non-workout setting (as in they don't fall out) things change when you're sweating and bouncing around. There is simply nothing worse than adjusting your earbuds in the middle of a run or worse than that, having them fall out. Included in the box are small, medium, large and "air foam" ear bud tips. I highly recommend you take the time to figure out which size works best for you., For me, I got the tightest seal (which equals best bass response) with the large ear bud tips. I suspect once you find the right size, you won't have to worry about changing them out. The hooks of the design are simply the bees knees. Truly they are a game changer for those like me who struggle with in-ear headphones. I NEVER worry about these falling out. It's true that you might not get as tight of a seal in your ear canal as other headphones (and thus, less bass response) the security of knowing they won't fall out vastly outweighs the minimal bass gains. SOUND QUALITY I must admit that I'm no audiophile and frankly, for sport headphones sound quality isn't the most important feature of a paid of headphones. But I think I can say that even those that might have higher standards in their workout headphones will be more than satisfied with the sound quality. I found a good mix of clear sound with nice range and decent bass that's not too overwhelming. But again, that's not the main selling points of these headphones. FEATURES/CONTROL In terms of features, there's not too much, and that's not a bad thing. The main highlight is the case itself. It obviously recharges the headphones and will give you 30 hours of run time before the case needs to be charged (I found the headphones themselves to run for about 4 hours before needing to be recharged, which is more than enough for the average runner/weightlifter, etc.). But one of the best features is the built in USB cable on the bottom of the case. No more worrying about carrying a cable. This is a huge benefit that you won't really appreciate until you're traveling and your battery dies. These headphones can take calls obviously, I did it one time (I normally reject calls when working out) and I had no issues with the person hearing me or me hearing them. In terms of controls, I think these headphones LIKE ALL truly wireless headphones are limited. With small ear buds there's simply no space for all the buttons you might want, so you are tasked with memorizing which ear bud to tap and how many taps it takes to control your volume, change songs, activate assistant, etc. Frankly I almost always navigate my playlist on my phone so this isn't really an issue for me, but if you're someone who puts your phone in a sleeve or a fanny pack while running and change song/volume from the ear buds themselves, just know that you'll have to memorize the patterns (which isn't too tough) and the buttons are touch sensitive. I find ALL touch sensitive buttons on headphones to be finicky at least at times. DURABILITY As I've said a number of times, my previous experience with JLab sport headphones didn't end well. But I believe they've improved their game and have delivered a better pair of headphones. Ones that won't short circuit if they get too wet. I've worn these in a rain storm and I generally sweat a lot and I've had no issues with charging, skipping, etc. I really can't say what they've done differently, but the whole package from the headphones to the case just seems better built (even though it's lighter in weight). CONCLUSION If you are in the market for sport headphones, you have to look at these. I simply cannot emphasize how important the hook design is for workout headphones. You really don't have to worry about them falling off in the most intense of workouts. And the sound quality and battery life (especially through the case) are at the top end at least in terms of sport headphones. I would even go so far to say that these would be a great option for daily driver headphones that would work in all situations.

I find these to be average headphones. The good is they stay on your ears when active. Not once did I feel like that would fall off when I played basketball or lifted weights. They are super easy to connect and use. The not so good is the sound quality. It’s average at best. They have a couple different equalizer modes but none fit my tastes. Lastly, one time I used them the sound kept skipping as if losing connection for a millisecond. It has only happened once so far but it was so obnoxious and frequent that I took them out and just listened to my phone. Not sure why they were cutting out but nonetheless it was a poor experience. Great potential but for me just average.

Returned these after 4 days. Sound overall - 7/10 Bass quality - 8/10 Comfort - 6/10 Phone call - 7/10 User interface - 4/10 Reliability in wireless - 3/10 Overall experience - 4/10 Pros: Sound quality was pretty good. Rich bass. Clear crisp treble. What you should expect in the $50-$120 price range. The mic was good enough for me to take calls and be heard clearly while walking outside. Cons: I now understand why every bluetooth headset I've owned with an over-ear hook also has a swivel to rotate the earbud. The only way I made these ones work was to insert the earbud first, then pull my ear through the hook. Annoying, but not a deal breaker by itself. The fact I couldn't do that without pressing the touch sensor and messing with my settings made it worse than it had to be. I never successfully got them in a comfortable position without accidentally triggering at least a volume change. It screwed up Spotify a few times with one of the long press functions. Unfortunately, there's no way to customize or temporarily disable the touch controls. That's something they reserved for their upgraded models. I took them on a casual 1hr walk. The audio broke up or desynced the left&right channels for a second or two at least 3 times. I couldn't find a secure position for them without the plastic body pressing into my ear and causing serious discomfort by the end of the walk. I took them back the day after that test. Overall: Good sound if they fit you well and you can tolerate the controls. I couldn't wear them for more than an hour without serious discomfort. You may need to have your phone in an arm band or something closer than a pants pocket to prevent connection errors. Might be worth trying if they're on a good sale, but I would not recommend these anywhere near full price even if they do have great sound for the price.

I have been wearing PowerBeats for years and have sweat through 3 pairs of them. My latest pair stopped working right before these were announced. I looked at getting the new Beats Pro Wireless but couldn't stand the thought of spending $250 on another pair of headphones that I might sweat through. Once I saw these and the price I thought they were too good to be true. Well I got them in the mail over the weekend and I am blown away by the sound and quality of these earbuds. They are my go to earbuds now for working out. Thanks Jlab and keep up the great work!

I won't go into the details on how this works b/c all true wireless headphones pretty much work the same way. So, I'll just focus on the issues I've had with them so far. By the way, I paired these with an iPhone X, so it's a relatively modern phone running the latest version of iOS. 1. They would unpair when activating Siri through the tap mechanism 2. The taps are a little difficult to register, so sometimes I found myself generating a triple tap when I was trying to double tap 3. They were difficult for me to get on (wrapped around my ear). The ear "hooks" are semi-rigid, so there's not much play in them in terms of spreading them open to get them wrapped around your ear. Maybe this is something that would just take practice to perfect, but it's annoying nonetheless. 4. A lot of noise is generated when touching the ear hooks. You can hear the touching through the actual earbuds when you're, for example, trying to adjust the fit and pressing your fingers on the ear hooks 5. The cloud foam tips are cheaply made. One literally tore while I was trying to get it on the earbud 6. Having the left side do all different functions from the right side is confusing not to mention just plain difficult to remember. Okay, so what does a triple tap do on the left side? What does it do on the right side? I understand the manufacturer is probably trying to squeeze as much functionality into these things, but when it gets this confusing, it almost seems like these are less functional (because nobody is going to remember how many taps performs what function on which side).

These work great and are my first bluetooth headset without the wire between the earbuds. I really really not like having the wire there when running especially. The Cloud Foam earbud tips are pretty good for sensitive ears. Being more akin to earplug material than rubber, I wonder how these will hold up, but so far so good. Can use just the right ear bud when driving for instance, but lose functionality and controls that are done from left ear bud. Breaking these in by playing music through these when not in use helps with the tinny sound of these when new out of the box. I am getting about 4 to 5 hours of battery life out of these before they go dead, and have only recharged the carry case once so far. I think the product battery claims are pretty spot on so far. The charging case works well and protects great in bags, too bulky for anything but cargo pants/shorts though :)

Great headphones and nice for calls as well. Battery life is great too. Wish the base had an audio jack to transmit so you can use these to plug into airplane monitors.

My wife loves them. They fit her ears and dont fall out when exercising, sounds good too.

I was very excited when I learned about these headphones. Very respectable price point and the design was exactly what I was looking for. I was originally going to purchase the Powerbeats Pro but decided to give these a try because I could buy 3 pairs of these compared to one pair of the Powerbeats. The first 2 days of owning them it was like heaven. No sync issues what-so-ever, they were louder than my previous Bluetooth headphones which is always a problem for me as I LOVE my music loud when I'm working out. They stayed in my ears and the foam ear tips didn't pain my ears at all during my 2 hour runs. Touch controls were a little iffy but you get a hang of them pretty fast. You may increase the volume a few times by mistake or miss the headphones completely and be that person running just poking at their head but it was never an issue for myself. Here's where the real problems start to set in. I made my first phone call with them a few days after owning them and the audio quality was very sub-par. I had to check that my phone wasn't on speakerphone in my pocket and that both earphones were working. Now I don't use these for phone calls, only runs so this wasn't a deal breaker but still gave me pause to the overall quality. The real problem was only 3 days after owning the product I left for my run and noticed that the Bluetooth wasn't connecting to the device. I turned back home and put them back into the case and the right earbud wouldn't register in the case no matter how I moved it around. Originally I thought that maybe I left them on overnight and the battery died by accident. I plugged in for awhile and came back the next day to the case blinking one dot and not registering the right earbud. I followed the instructions of a reset on the device by tapping both earbuds 7 times and putting them back in the case. It worked on the left earbud but the right earbud was now unresponsive. After 3 days of having the product and going on 2 runs, the earbuds were now useless and defective. I contacted customer support about my issue and was told that I had bought a defective product and to return the product to Best Buy. So that's where I'm at. A lot of promise to start with these but unfortunately I now have a non working pair of headphones that I need to return for my money back. Hopefully it's not this way for everyone but I took my chance at the cheaper pair and didn't get lucky at all. The worst part was that I left a review on the companies website and after only 12 hours my review was taken down to give them a more favorable review. I'm a verified buyer and received an email verification that my review was posted...now it's deleted with only 5 star reviews and one 2 star that doesn't make them look too bad. Be careful who you give your money to. Looks like spending the extra money may be the best idea. Hope this helps someone! I may try them out again but my first time didn't go well at all.

I bought these for $34.99 on sale, they pair very easy and have 3 EQ settings. With power beats pros on sale for $199 you can get 5 pairs of these. I run and lift weights in these and they stay put and are comfortable. I've owned power beats 2's the blue tooth ones with the wires and they were great. My only gripe with the power beats and the reason I didn't go for the pros where they wired ones would last about 4 weeks and then I would have to send them back to apple to get a replacement because the volume rocker would stop working. Maybe since the power beat pros ate completely wireless they may have fixed that issue. Please be aware that the Jlabs are touch sensored which means they are controlled by tap commands but they are easily learned.
