Now my favorite for exercise
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried other wireless headphones and although the sound may be slightly better than that of this product, the fact that they stay in my ear and connect so seamlessly is good enough for me.

Solid sound for price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall good sound quality for the price point. Not quite as rich as apple AirPods but considering the price difference they are worth checking out. I specifically wanted then to fit under ear muffs when mowing- air pods stick out and pinch ears where these fit inside perfectly. And have spare when my AirPods die.

Great performance at a third the price of Air Pods
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been a little obsessed with Bluetooth headphones this last year, having picked up everything from on-ear headphones to waterproof earbuds to bone conduction headphones. While each of them has their benefits, the main drawback for all of them is how they handle the wire between the ears. Dealing with that wire has been one my big annoyances, as I can’t stand having the wire “pull” across the back of my neck and cause the earbud to shift in my ear. Traditional headphone style handles that by hiding the wire in the headband, and honestly that is one of the better ways to do it, but I’ve always wondered if truly wireless earbuds would be better. The category of true wireless earbuds has been growing, especially since the introduction of Apple’s Air Pods, but I’m not willing to fork over $169 for something that doesn’t even fit all that well. When I saw the JLab JBuds Air on sale during Black Friday, I decided to give them a try. I already have 2 other JLab Bluetooth headphones, and I’ve been really pleased with them, so I wanted to see how they would do with true wireless earbuds. With a retail price of only $50, the risk is a lot less. The JBuds come in a black plastic case which also doubles as the charging station. The earbuds themselves provide 3.5 hours of play time, and the case can charge them 3 more times for an additional 10.5 more hours. While I haven’t had them very long, this is a pretty convenient setup. Pairing the earbuds was very easy, but the first step is to pair them to each other, which is also incredibly easy. Like other JLab headphones, these have 3 EQ settings: signature, balanced and bass boost. While I wish that JLab included the ability to create custom EQ settings (like Jay Bird), I do like the signature setting and think it sounds very good. Speaking of sound, this is an area where the JBuds really shine, especially given their price. Compared to my other Bluetooth earbuds costing between $99 and $129, the JBuds are at least as good, and even better than those more expensive models. One reason the JBuds sound so good is that they fit in the ear very well and seal against the ear, creating much better bass. I was quite surprised at how good they sounded. Getting a good fit with the JBuds was refreshingly easy. After struggling with those other, more expensive models, I was expecting more of the same here. What a pleasant surprise that I only had to swap out the ear tips to get the right size and put on the cush fins and I was good to go! The fit is excellent for me, and the cush fins provide a great seal, resulting in the aforementioned bass. A slight twist in the ear “locks” them in and seals them. They’re very comfortable and can be worn for long periods without discomfort. JLab has implemented a pretty clever system of button presses for controlling your music. There is a button on each earbud, with different functions. For example, a click on the right one increases the volume, which clicking the left turns it down. Other functions are similar, except they use multiple clicks or longer holds. My only beef with this system is that the buttons are harder to press than I would like, but I suppose I can’t complain too much at this price point. Pushing as hard as you have to push is not comfortable when you consider you’re pushing the earbud deeper into your ear, requiring you to reseat the ear bud often. Overall, though, it really works well. Bluetooth connectivity is good, but the JBuds are a little more sensitive than other models. The BT receiver is in the right earbud, so they work better if the phone is on that side. When the signal is interrupted, it causes one of the earbuds to cut out, which is a bit disconcerting. While I wish they were a little better in the connectivity area, I don’t think this is a big problem, and it’s not too much different than other models. Surprisingly, the microphones are better than I expected. Callers told me they could hear me very well, so the JBuds are usable for phone calls. The only downside is that calls only use the right earbud, which reduces the overall volume of the call. I think JLab is getting it right by offering reasonably priced wireless headphones that have better than expected performance. The JLab Retro headphones showed what could be done with a budget-priced set of headphones with 80’s chic, and now the JBuds show that you don’t have to pay a lot to get decent performance in the true wireless arena. Do yourself a favor: pick up a set of these and pocket the savings!

Decent beginner wireless earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item on Black Friday for $30, which is a great price for an entry level wireless earbud. The case is light but sturdy. The lid snapping shut is rather loud, but it stays closed very well. The built in USB cord is convenient, but the connector being exposed is definitely questionable. I like that the light is very descriptive; it's easy to see on the front of the case, turns blue for each individual earbud when it is currently charging, and the white light indicates not only when the earbuds are full, but will have 1, 2, or 3 light depending on the battery of the case. The magnets hold the earbuds tightly in place. The battery can last a few hours on medium volume of my laptop before needing to charge, which is on the lower end. My Conico earbuds are in the same price range and can last around 10 hours under the same condition. Connecting to my computer is quick and easy. The sound and comfort are fine, but the biggest flaw is the fact that you cannot use the left earbud while the right one is stored in the case. Most earbuds now can use each one separately, so I would recommend the JBuds that are $10 more than this one since it feels like more of a complete package.

Great pair of headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these on sale for a great price. I could have spent 4 times more but I wouldn't be much happier. Sure the much more expensive ones are going to sound better but I didn't buy these for critical listening. For that I have much better phones. The sound is pretty good. You get 3 presets to change the sound. The volume is good, loud enough for most people. The range is also decent and the stay in your ears really well. All in all you won't find a better pair of headphones for this price. And if something happens to them or you loose them you could just get another pair. If you're on the fence about these just buy them. I don't think you will regret it.

Very nice, easy to use!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like these true wireless ear buds. Super easy to use. They pair automatically, charging case is awesome. Sound is good but I’d prefer more bass. I know you don’t usually get a ton of bass in ear buds but I’ve have other buds with a little better sound quality overall. So I can’t give them the full 5 stars but I do recommend them!

Good sound & noise isolation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good sound, connectivity and noise cancellation. I have especially been impressed with how it auto powers up and connects when I remove the headphones from the carrying case — it automatically connects with my phone and is ready to play. Have not always been extremely impressed with the duration of battery charge, but that is my only negative.

Great deal
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had originally bought the JBL in ear headphones and they did not work out. I decided to give these a shot since they were half the price and I had gift card to make them even cheaper. They were great. They get the job done for me and I am not particularly picky about the sound so I have no complaints. Never had any issues with calls and the charging case was compact and easy to carry around. It was annoying that you needed the right ear to be on to be able to use the left ear but for the price I can't complain. I did have some trouble four months in but I think they are still worth the price as customer service is pretty responsive.

Good sound, Stays in ear, Wish they felt snugger
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like these ear buds! The case contains the charging cable, so I can't lose it in 3 months. The sound is great. They pair quickly and hold a charge nicely. I just can't get past the smallest cushions still feel like they are not tight enough in my ear canal. They haven't fallen yet, but my fear is they might.
