      Sounds like a poor seal has been created. You should be getting nice clear sound at 100db, definitely loud enough to block out outside noise. Make certain that the unit is touching the back of your ear, or a good seal has not been formed.     After buying Airpods, my wife bought these as a cheaper alternative. Ten days later we bought Airpods.

      Hi there, in your product package you will find 3 different size tips, try out each and find the one that best fits.
