Just $30 functional wireless earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You get what you paid for: just a functional pair of wireless earbuds. The sound is just barely okay, and the control is very confusing. It works, so if you are taking it to the gym, or only use it to listen to podcast or very casually listen to some music on your way home, it is fine, but if you have a slightly higher standard, you should look elsewhere. I own a number of headsets, from $10 wired earbuds to $300 Sony 1000XM series. The sound of these earbuds are not good to be honest. The mid range is fine, high is a bit dull, but the bass is just a distorted mess. I do not know what the manufacturer was thinking, but they somehow amplified the bass in such a strange way that you feel you are slapped in the face by it. In many tracks, the bass is so amplified that it is almost as loud as the voice track, which I have never experienced. And it is not amplified in a good way -- it sounds bad. You get a higher sound quality in $10 earbuds. The control is just terribly confusing. You can hardly remember which action to use on which earbud for a command, and sometimes you need to hold and press for no less than 1 second (literally, because a short pause does not work) for certain actions, which is very weird. There is understandably no touch control given that this is cheap, but I wish they reduce the command and make things clearer.

Good headsets at a Great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven't had these headphones too long but already had to replace a set after only having it for a day. The right ear piece would connect or turn on. Went to Best Buy and exchanged it for a new pair and it is working great. Like the ability to control my phone and music from the ear buds, and I can walk further distances with this headset than I could my previous headset. Used them at the gym and had no issues with working out and them falling out.

Can't beat it for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, truly impressed with these! Bought these on Black Friday and I was a bit skeptical but man oh man they sound excellent for the price. Very easy setup and just takes a bit of getting used to how to work them but for $29 bucks you can't go wrong!

Very easy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ear buds are very easy to pair. Once paired, they turn on and connect when you open the case. When you open the case to put them away, they shut off. The case is the charger. Simple, simple. Sound is good for the price.

Disconnects dozens of times per hour
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loses connectivity dozens of times per hour when attached to my laptop or desktop (Windows) systems. They seem to get confused and unpair requiring a re-pairing which sometimes takes several minutes. Sound quality is decent but the disconnect/reconnect makes them almost useless.

Amazing sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really cannot brag enough for these inexpensive headphones. I needed something a little more discreet with great sound while working. The overall sound is good enough for you to enjoy music while exercising or my favorite talk radio. The only problem is they can be uncomfortable for a long duration of time and you only get the right earphone for receiving calls. Overall, the price is unbeatable!

Not horrible for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these December 23. I've used them just over a month hoping they would work out. About 65% of the time mic for voice calls isn't the greatest I have to end up switching my calls to the phone speaker which defeats the purpose of these earbuds. My main purpose was use at the gym. I'm not one of the people that has to have their music blasting in my ears. Although I work out at planet fitness as with most gyms they have their own music playing throughout the facility. I can't get these earbuds loud enough to block out their music and they don't play theirs loud at all. I can hear people having a conversation from about 10' away. It also sounds as if they'll just start scrolling through the EQ modes without a voice prompt from the earbuds. Overall I love the fit as well as the case. But with these issues I'm going to look at other options.

High quality sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these to use so that I wouldn't need to bring my larger earphones to the gym each evening. I must say that the sound is quite excellent, and that does not take into account the pricing. I know that different people prefer different types of sound with their music, but these are again, quite excellent. Yes, there are those out there that claim to be audiophiles, but heck at 44 years old and as someone who has listened to and created music for most of those years I give them a solid 5 out of 5. The best advice I can give is to try them and compare to other ear buds. If they are for you purchase them, if not purchase what sounds best to you and fits your need.

Pretty good buds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is good. The charging is fast. The built-in charger in the case is really nice as well. The main issues are that sometimes you have to give the buds a push for the sound to return to normal. I think it has something to do with the seal maybe blocking the sound. Also, the rubber sleeve that helps the bud sit (not the rubber that goes in the canal), comes loose sometimes and needs readjusted. Also, I would not particularly recommend them for the gym. If you're sweating they will fall out with certain movements, and the sweat will eventually ruin the speaker and make the sound stop coming out completely. In all fairness, I did work-out and mow the lawn with them quite a bit before the sweat got to them. Overall, they work great as long as you're not too active

Good but have problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are good in some areas, but have problems in others. Setup and charging are easy and quick. Sound quality is decent, not the best, but far from the worst. The various EQ settings are nice and sound good. The worst part about these headphones (for me) are that they just simply dont stay in my ear and sometimes fall out, even with the sleeves that are provided. Next thing, and this is the deal breaker for me, is the delay in audio when watching any kind of video. Whether its YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, or even locally stored videos, there is about a half second delay in audio from the video. So if you're exclusively using these for music and not video, they are good for the price. But mine are getting returned due to the delay I mentioned above.

Decent value for earbuds.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these for over a year, but mostly use them during occasional workouts or weekly lawn mowing. After a little while, they can get a little loose in my ear, but I haven't taken the time to try 'em on with the other tip sizes they come with. Long phone calls do run down the battery faster than just listening to music. The ability to tap either ear to increase/decrease volume or pause/skip tracks is helpful, but the other functions are hard to remember, so hang on to the instruction booklet! Charging up is so easy with the cable built into the case. I have taken advantage of JLab's warranty for one of my other pairs, and after sending them in, they let me order a replacement pair for free. Having bought these on sale, they're a decent value.

Hard to find fault with these
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these for a couple of weeks now and I'm really happy with them. Setup was easy, the case is very sturdy, they give you several sizes of earpieces, it charges pretty fast, and the sound quality is very good. The buttons are fast and responsive, and the built in equalizer settings really enhance the sound. I can easily run with these in my ears and they stay firmly in place. If I had something to complain about, it's that you have to push the buttons really hard, but I guess it's designed this way to prevent accidental pushing.

Decent sound, but stopped working properly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these based on the reviews and the price point. The first day I had them, they worked great. The sound was actually decent and the lack of bass wasn't as bad as some make it sound. Unfortunately they only worked as they should for one day. The second day I tried to use them an issue started with the connectivity. The earbuds would not pair to each other. They would show up on my device as two separate bluetooth devices. I tried all of the reset steps as recommended on JLab's site, but nothing worked. I promptly returned these on the third day of attempting to get them to pair properly.

Posted .Hey chris,
We’re sorry to hear that you are having this issue with your earbuds not connecting, the problem occurs if you ever place the right in the left, or left in the right to charge. This makes them forget how to find each other. Please find the steps below on how to get them pairing back together.
1. Remove the connection from your device
2. Turn both earbuds off
3. Press and hold the power button on your right earbuds for 10-15 seconds. You will see a series of indicator lights which will include a blue/white alternating lights. Continue holding the power button until you see only a fast blinking white light.
4. Repeat the same process with your left earbud.
5. Both earbuds will blink only white while they search for each other.
6. Once pairing together, the left ear will show a solid white light. The right light will start blinking blue/white indicating it is looking for a device to connect to.
7. On you device under your Bluetooth settings there should be a new connecting: JLab JBuds Air.
If you are still running into issues, please reach out to us either via email support@jlabaudio.com or shoot us a call at 405.445.7219 Monday-Thursday between 8am-5pm p.t & Friday 8am-3pm p.t so that we may get you taken care of.

First Impression...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to receive these as a gift. Easy to set up and use. The sound quality was perfect for me. My problem was with the charging case. It kept rejecting the ear buds. They were not magnetized at all. In fact, they would slightly "jump" out when I placed them in the correct spot and the case would not completely close. Appeared as though the magnets were put in backwards during the manufacturing process. I had 3 other people try (thinking I was doing something wrong) and we were all unsuccessful. Definitely a defective pair. I will return and exchange them for a new pair because I definitely like the ease and convenience of them. Hopefully my next review will be 5 stars.

Perfect for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really want expecting much with the price being so low, but much to my surprise the audio capabilities on the earbuds are great. I love the easy touch controls and I have small ears and have a hard time getting earbuds to stay in sometimes, but once I insert them correctly they stay in, even while running errands and constantly moving. I highly recommend these jlab true wireless earbuds!
