The sound quality is very good. I find the extra pieces attached to the headset wires annoying. Battery life is quite good. Quality seems good too. Pairing was easy and it does stay paired unlike others which constantly drop off.

    A Good Choice, HOWEVER……

This is a very nice headset. You can listen to music from most any source supporting Bluetooth. In addition, incoming mobile phone calls can be accepted or rejected. Music quality and balance is very good. The neckband design rests comfortably around the neck, as well as ensuring the device stays with you should you need to remove an earpiece temporarily. In addition, the battery provides hours of playing time. For my purposes, a good portion of my music listening is provided via Amazon Echo. My primary Echo device is in my living room, and I like using it for music via Bluetooth headset or speaker when I go out on my deck. The JBuds quickly paired with the Echo, and the music was sounding good. HOWEVER, unlike my other Bluetooth devices, when I went out to the deck, the headset sputtered in and out, rendering it useless for anything other than being paired to a source within about 10 feet. If you listen to music on your mobile phone or other device kept close at hand, the JBuds Headset would be a good choice for you. However, if you need some distance, this device is not for you. Because of the good qualities of the JBuds, I would recommend the headset, with the close to source caveat.

Solid Product for It's Style and Price

The JLab Audio – JBuds Band Wireless Neckband Headset is a solid offering. Set up was quick and painless and everything worked as described. Sound is good for both music and speech. The controls are intuitive and responsive and the longer battery-life is a big plus. A welcome addition is the ability to select from three different EQ settings. The only question is whether or not the neckband style is right for your needs. I found myself wishing the band came down lower so the controls would be a little more accessible. But that's an issue of personal preference. Otherwise, this is a very solid product for it's price range.

    Another solid product from JLab

JLab products around this price range have been solid products so far. You get almost all the features from the expensive alternatives. The JBuds is another solid product from JLab for those looking for a good pair of wireless with a price that is hard to beat. The sound is above average but for an audiophile person, they will be left wanting more. My experience so far with them has been mainly positive. Battery life has been good and the Bluetooth connection has been solid without any drops. They’re comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. Build quality is good so they should last for a while. The only shortcomings would be a much more clear fuller sound but for this price point that would be nitpicking lol. The cord might be too long for some but for me, it’s fine since I usually tuck them under my shirt. One feature I was surprised to see at this price point but glad that JLab added it was the vibration alert. There have been so many times I missed calls when having my phone pair to Bluetooth headsets since there are times I don’t have them on my ears. With the JBuds, I can have the earbuds out and not worry about missing a call. For equalizer settings do you have 3 options to pick from JLab signature sound (a combination of bass and treble increased), natural for a more flat sound and the last one is extra bass. I usually leave it on the JLab Signature sound which is also the default sound out of the box. For my test call, the caller said they can hear me loud and clear. Overall the JLab JBuds are good all around wireless earbuds that are great for working out or to just relaxing with your favorite album or podcast. What JLab has brought to the table is quite the bang for the buck. As long as your expectations are not Bose sound quality you can’t wrong with the JBuds. Pros: Affordable 8hr battery life Bluetooth 5.0 Vibration alert for calls IP66 Waterproof Magnetic earbuds to keep them snap together. Cons: Above average sound quality. Cord may be too long for some.

Basic Ear Buds That Sound Above Their Price

These JBUds may not cost a lot but do not let that fool you about the quality of sound you will be enjoying while you're using them. Fit in the ears are about what I've come to expect from ear buds these days. However, once the music starts you will be pleasantly surprised by the well above average sound quality. The sound is rather well balanced and a bit on the warm side. If I were forced to list any 'cons' for these it would be the construction quality. The neck band feels a bit on the flimsy side to me and I am not sure it'll hold up to a lot of abuse. But at this price point I'm not going to complain because the get the job done. One other thing about call quality, while callers sound clear on my side I had a couple of people complain they had problem hearing me clearly on these. For music they are great, for calls, no so mjch.

    Decent-sounding, inexpensive, neckband headset

First, these are quite different from other around-the-next headsets. While others have a hard plastic “band” that goes around the neck, and contains the battery, the JBudsBand Wireless Headset has a “twisting” neckband, with (I assume) small batteries at each end of the thicker “neck band”. Also, unlike those others, which have retractable earbud cords, the JBudBand has earbud cords that dangle when not in use…and this is NOT a good thing. On the plus side, each ear doesn’t dangle on its own, as each ‘bud’ has a magnetic back, thus the left & right get held together when not in use. Unfortunately, they hang so low that they could get caught in something else. Even worse, considering how thin the cords are, if the buds do get caught in something, it is VERY likely that either the buds will get pulled from the cords and/or the cords will get pulled from the “battery cases”. Speaking of “battery cases, the right “case” houses the controls, which are a bit confusing, as there are only three buttons. I say this because all three buttons have multiple functions. In typical fashion, the up/down arrows control volume up/down, as well as track forward/back, but they are also used for changing EQ modes. As for the middle button, it’s even more complicated, as it controls power on/off, play/pause, answering incoming calls, rejecting incoming calls, Bluetooth pairing, and voice assistant. A quick note on voice assistants – the JBudBand supports Google Assistant & Siri, but NOT Bixby (not that anyone is actually using Bixby, but felt it worth noting). For a headset that’s partially marketed for “sports” use (not FULL sports use…but minor), its IP66 rating (sweat) isn’t very good. Truth-be-told, I would have expected at least an IP67 rating. About the only truly good thing is the 2-year warranty (almost all other manufacturers in this price-range only offer a 1-year warranty, and some less than that). If you’re looking for an inexpensive around-the-neck headset, this is a good (albeit, NOT “great”) choice. At $30, they are less costly than all others of this type. Additionally, they have a warranty that’s twice as long, and the battery life (a claimed 8+ hours, although I did not listen to them long enough to prove whether, or not, this claim is accurate) is equal to, or slightly better than, others of this type. If all you’re looking for is an inexpensive around-the-neck headset, then these will meet your need. However, if you prefer something of higher quality, with better sound, and not-so-complicated controls, then your best bet is to avoid these, and look elsewhere. Disclaimer: This product was provided free, or at reduced cost, for the purpose of reviewing the product. Nevertheless, the above review, be it positive, negative, or anywhere in-between, is a 100% honest review, and the price paid played absolutely no part in my review.

First of all I prefer headphones over earbuds and this product just reinforces my preference. The ear buds came with some extra sponge things so that is nice and they are an easy sync to my phone. However, I do not know how to power them off and cannot tell if they are fully charged. The ear buds sound okay but nothing spectacular and there is no volume control (I can find) on bar thing. I do like that they are wireless as my primary purpose for them are to use while working out.

These are the ear buds I have wanted for years, They sound great and the charging and blue tooth connection is very intuitive. Honestly not much to say other than YES. Bang for your buck, any buck, these are the ear buds you deserve and have been looking for. I have never been able to give a review like this for ear buds, thank you for delivering.

The only decent thing about this headset is the sound quality. And even at that, it’s mediocre. The band that goes around your neck is formed in a circle in the packaging and it wants to remain in that shape when you wear it. I feel like I’m being choked and it’s too long. It was simple to pair to my iPhone.

I ride a SuperSport Bike with these just about daily in the summer time. at very high speeds the wind whips the connecting wire around like a rag doll, They just stopped working on me yesterday after 3 years of use. If I didn't ride so fast they would of lasted much longer. The sound quality is on par with higher end models such as Klipsch and Bose, I have had both and neither lasted as long as these JLab and the funny thing the JLab sounded just as good hitting the high notes excellent along with very deep base and the clarity of the over all music is astounding for a such a lesser price. I will be buying these again with in the next few days, "I can't ride without my Music". Don't spend all that money for a name brand it isn't worth the money when compared to these. I should add that I'm a 50 year old Male with allot of experience with audio products. I bought these in a pinch because my Bose ear buds bit the dust from riding with them and the JLab lasted over 2 years longer than the Bose. Take the advise or leave it, but live and learn
