Some great design elements, and good price!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review for JLAB True Wireless JBuds Frames These JLAB JBuds are really in their own category. They don’t go in your ears; they attach to the frames of your glasses or sunglasses. As someone who never finds earbuds fit well, these are a great alternative. The sound is basically projected into your ears from the buds. The sound quality is good, considering it’s not in your ear. I found the Bass Boost to really just be a Less Trebel setting, but the overall frequency response in either mode was fine for listening to tunes on a walk or while sitting still. The buds clip onto almost any frames, although I found my regular glasses, which have cylindrical stems, were a little tricky to get the clips to go over. The buds also come with little silicone sleeves that slip over the clips for very thin stems, but they didn’t help with my problem. Thus the one star ding. They also come with a nice soft, padded case that hold the buds, the sleeves, the charging cable, if you like, and still has room for your sunglasses. I thought this was a great idea, as an alternative to the ubiquitous charging case. The buds themselves have magnetic connectors for the charging cables. I was unhappy to see that they were not reversible. You can attach them only one way or the magnet doesn’t work. Run time is said to be eight hours, which if true, will be great! You can use them to answer a phone call with a single click or summon Siri or Google with a double click. Each bud has only one button, which is nice and simple, but multiple options means using the left or right button and single-, double-, or triple-clicks to maximize the features. Not hard, but does take some getting used to. For the price point, I found these buds to be a great deal.

Perfect audio for me!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I saw these Frame Audio clips, I knew I needed them! I wear in-ear hearing aids and work in a virtual world. I can either take my hearing aids out and use earbuds, or use over the ear headphones. These Frame Audio clips are the answer! Opening the box was the hardest part. That box is glued in every direction! I used scissors to cut along the 'scissor cut here' line, but even then I had to destroy the box to get the instructions out. The audio clips were easy to set up and configure to my laptop. You definitely want both clips in order to get sufficient volume of sound. I had them playing music and asked my husband who was five feet away if he could hear them and he could not. Talk about music to my ears! This allows me to use virtual meeting programs and keep what the other person is saying private. The bag is really nice and the clips come with rubber bands which slide on to keep them to the right size for the temples on your glasses. This is probablly the area that could be improved over time so that you don't have to change bands when you change glasses. Maybe more of a clamp? Anyway, these Frame Clips are wonderful for those who cannot use in-ear ear buds. Get a pair!

Interesting Concept - works for those w/ Glasses
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JLab - JBuds Frames Wireless Audio for Your Glasses - Black is a great concept that works great for those who wear glasses regularly. They eliminate the strain on your ears that regular and long day use of earbuds often give. While not completely private, the sound is focused directly towards your ears allowing minimal volume to go a long way! I found these JLABs to be an interesting concept and reasonably executed. I like not having to put earbuds in and out all day long and could still answer the phone or connect to webcalls without having to change what I was already wearing - glasses. Biggest issues I see is that they seem to be designed specifically for wire-frames or extremely thin plastic frames. My normal plastic frames have had the units fall off when I take off the glasses occasionally and the plastic clips are stretched a bit farther than I am comfortable! PROS - JLAB quality and innovation - Great overall sound - Easy Bluetooth connection - Quick charging, long battery life - Bulky but not heavy! CONS - Not ideal for frames other than wire frames. - Clips could potentially break easily.

Posted .Hi there, we're sorry to hear this! In your package should be some silicone sleeves that help the frames fit on glasses for a secure fit! Please give those a try as that should solve your problem! If you have any other questions about fit please reach out to support@jlabaudio.com or refer to this article: https://www.jlab.com/blogs/news/fitting-your-jbuds-frames -JLab

interesting devices
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.these JLAB True Wireless JBuds mini speakers for your eyeglass frames are an interesting concept. Mini bluetooth speakers which clip onto your eyeglass frame. I found these mainly useful to listen to phone calls, podcasts and other voice driven sound. They provide limited sound fidelity for music although they have two modes which are used to enhance sound through increased bass and another sound profile. Frankly I did not expect much in the way of audio capabilities. As for setup and operation they have a button on each speaker which is used to control various functions and with some common functions between each and others which are left and right specific. The speakers were a bit finicky to pair via bluetooth, but ultimately I was able to pair them and put them to use. One of the good things about these devices is since they are placed near your ears (not in or on) they do not affect your ability to hear ambient sound making you aware of your surroundings. For the same reason they are not immersive. Phone calls are clear and the microphones on these units do a good job of picking up your voice with good quality. Pros: - compact - discrete - 8hr battery life - good for spoken content - comes with a little storage bag Cons: - not great for music - finicky when pairing

Not the best sound...but a good idea...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont know what I was expecting from the JLAB True Wireless JBuds Frames, although I thought its a cool idea to have wireless speakers that attach to your glasses, thereby facilitating the ability to be aware of your surroundings rather than sealing out all ambient sound. The mounting is secure but only on the right kind of frames, I found they were more secure on thinner metal frame arms and less secure on thicker plastic frames and would sometimes pop off the frames. Charging is easy but its with proprietary magnetic charging ends rather than micro usb so if you lose the cable you cant charge your Jbuds Frames. Pairing is easy and so is charging but thats where the good news ends. Sound quality is sub par, no matter what EQ setting you choose inlcuding the "Bass Boost" setting. Volume, even at the highest setting is too low and its hard for the JLAB Frames to be heard over the ambient noise in anything but the quietest surroundings. They work for phone calls as well, but the same issues mentioned above make them less than stellar. I gave the JLAB Frames 3 stars as its a cool idea and if you go in with your eyes open I guess someone will find a use for them, me personally, not so much.
