Right off the bat, the pairing is bad with iOS 17.5.1 and Apple iPhone 15 Pro. I downloaded the app and followed the instructions. I connected with Bluetooth but the app still does not list it under devices. I’ve re-paired it and same thing. So this review will be using Android OS v14 and Google Pixel 8 Pro. I downloaded the app for Android and during pairing, it detected it. This was a better experience than iOS. The app review was concerning with low ratings. But after reading a few and using the app it seems many feel the app is unnecessary since you can do the same thing on the headphones itself. The JLabs app recognized it and lists it under the device list. The app is easy to use and laid out well. I prefer it over the buttons because everything is labeled on the app. For the headphones, they fit okay over my head. The pads are fine but may become uncomfortable after 30 minutes of use at least for me, I would need to remove it. My ears would get warm and fit feels tighter. This is a subjective take because my head and ears may differ from everyone else. The noise cancellation is fine. I’ve had better from other headphones. I also tried it on my MacBook Pro M3 Max. You don’t need an app installed but you will rely on the physical buttons on the headphones. It does not work as a wired headphone when connected using the USB-C cable. It would’ve been a cool feature. Let’s say the batteries are dead and you want to use it with your laptop, you would have to wait for it to get enough charge to use it again. I think this is a good Bluetooth headphones with noise cancelling. There will be better ones but at a higher price point. I would not recommend it with iPhone. But it’s nice with Android phone and MacBook Pro.

I bought these to replace my JBLs that broke for the second time. These things sound great and the price is unreal for the quality. Theyre also very comfortable, and the battery life is amazing

These headphones have a clear sound. The bass quality of the sound is perfect. These headphones come with a noise canceling feature. The noise canceling works well, however is not as good as other headphones in my opinion but gets the job done, you can enable and disable noise cancellation if you like. Also, has a “be aware” mode which basically allows you to hear the sounds around your environment better. So, for example. If you are walking outside and a car sounds the horn on you, you will be able to hear it. You can also install the JLab App on your phone which makes you create custom sound presets as well as control the features of your headphones. Initial setup via Bluetooth was easy using my iPhone 12 Pro, I didn’t experience any issues. These headphones only work via Bluetooth it has a usb-c port but is for charging only. Comfort is ok, not great. They feel good when you put them on but as time passes it feels a little bit uncomfortable. I prefer that these headphones were a little more breathable. They feel very hot in your ear when you use them for a while, but that is pretty much typical with all over-the-ear headphones. I guess it requires getting used to it. Do I recommend this to someone? Absolutely YES….For the price, I believe is a good buy.

I love these they have great noise, cancellation, and help me study with the good background noise that they offer. Great battery life and very comfortable. I actually bought another pair in a different color also.

I have owned many headphones at this point. Too many, so I know the spiel. If you assumed these were some junky headphones for $80, keep reading because these are not that. The packaging is rather standard. No carrying bag is included, but finding a bulk lock of drawstring bags on amazon is no issue, just do some measurements and you'll figure it out. Inside the pack was also a usb c to c cable that is used to charge but is also used for usb c audio for phones that support that (which is most phones). You honestly can't ask more for $80. The size and fitment is rather nice. The differently shaped ear cups actually surround my ears nicely and the plastic is nice and smooth. Does not have some cheap rubber texture to it and the head band is soft enough. These are very flexible and due to the profile can sit rather close to your head. They also fold up into a nice little ball that can be put into a drawstring bag or some kind of protective thing, I'm sure amazon has plenty of cheap bags you can put them in. Sound quality is just great. With the original EQ I can't complain and for $80 it's really difficult to say if you can find something better. Most companies that shoot for this price do what they can to compromise but these headphones feel like they only compromised on the construction. The sound is great even with bluetooth. Although I cannot personally say that the wired sound quality would be better it wouldn't hurt to try. I haven't tested the effectiveness of the ANC since it gives me a headache, however I can say that the pass-through is serviceable at best. It doesn't replicate what humans ears would hear, but if you just need to hear a question or a subway announcement, they will do the trick. Bottom line? Get them. Just get them. Doesn't matter if you pay $80 or less, just get them. These things are just wildly effective in cost and performance. Even if you don't need them, just get them, put them in a small cloth bag and chuck them in your bag. Just in case.

This has become my favorite pair of headphones. They are confortable, long lasting batteries, and it has noise canceling features that can be turn off or on so you have situation awareness.

I really like the headphones! They do a nice job with canceling out external noise. I use them for listening to audio books and podcasts, so i can't give feedback on using them for music. I am able to clearly hear and have been able to pick up more of the narration than without headphones. I recently traveled, and the headphones folded and packed up easily. Battery life has been fantastic!

I love these headphones! I was looking for something very comfortable,over the ears and a great battery life. I typically have them on 8hours daily and fall asleep with them on at night listening to my books. No issues at all and the noise canceling is great

These are probably the best over the ear set I own. They are comfortable with great sound-deadening capability. The 70 hour battery can’t be beat. I have no complaints about these phones.

Exactly what I was looking for. Battery last long, they are comfortable to wear and have several options for noise canceling and a “be aware” mode.

I bought the JLab JBuds Lux ANC headphones expecting a decent budget pair, but they’ve honestly exceeded my expectations. The sound is rich and well-balanced right out of the box, and the Spatial Audio feature makes movies and music feel much more immersive. Solid bass and the companion app lets you customize the EQ if you want to dial in your own sound. The active noise canceling does a surprisingly good job for headphones in this price range. It won’t completely eliminate every sound like some $300+ flagship headphones, but it significantly cuts down on background noise from fans, traffic, making it much easier to focus. The Be Aware mode is also handy when you need to hear what’s going on around you without taking the headphones off. The Cloud Foam ear cushions are soft enough to wear for hours without discomfort, and the headphones are lightweight enough that they don’t feel like they’re weighing your head down. Battery life is excellent too—I rarely have to think about charging them, and the quick-charge feature is awesome. My only complaint is that they don't include some sort of pouch or carrying case which means they float around in my bag taking a beating from the rest of my crap...I hope they are sturdy enough to take it without breaking! Bluetooth pairing has been fast and reliable, and I really appreciate multipoint connectivity for switching between my phone and computer without constantly reconnecting devices. The app adds useful customization without feeling overly complicated. (JLab Support⁠) Overall, if you’re looking for comfortable over-ear headphones with good sound quality, effective ANC, long battery life, Spatial Audio, and plenty of features without spending a fortune, the JBuds Lux ANC are an outstanding value. I’d definitely recommend them.

Battery last forever, the weight is incredible and sound quality is top notch!

They sound great and are comfortable for me to wear for hours on end and the battery lasts quite long, I only need to charge them about once a week and I use them for music on my phone, to watch tv and for gaming. I love these headphones!
