These JLAB JBuds Pods noise cancelling true wireless headphones are great. Incredibly compact and nice build with impressive sound quality. I really enjoy the compact size of both the buds themselves and their charge case, which makes it easy to take them anywhere. Design and build are top notch with an attractive true wireless configuration and low-profile look. They’re also durable and splashproof so they are built to last with quality construction. Design and Comfort Comma shape design keeps them low profile but easy to handle while inserting or removing. Multiple sizes of gel ear tips for custom fit easily makes these incredibly comfortable right out of the box. Very lightweight makes them functional for extended use without fatigue or sore ears after a while. The fit is very comfortable and secure with the included adjustable ear tip sizes which keep them in place without the need to insert them too deep into my ears. Black body with a small JLAB emblem on the gray insert really makes them aesthetically pleasing and sets these apart from other plain earbuds. Sound Quality Sound quality is fantastic! They deliver clear highs and deep bass for a well-balanced sound and enjoyable audio experience. Hybrid active noise cancellation works very well in crowded areas, noisy environments, or even just the wind while outside. Thie is especially noticeable for me if I’m outside working and receive a phone call, the person on the other end isn’t constantly bombarded by the noise of the breeze. 6 dedicated microphones help with this as well and make calls nice and clear. Battery Life and Connectivity Excellent battery life with 10 hours of playback in each bud itself and up to 56 hours of playback when paired with the charging case. They’ve never died on me. I charge them about once a week and haven’t had any problems. The case has its own battery that charges the buds while they’re in there and the case itself holds several charges in it, so if I just remember to put them back in the case between uses and then charge the case once a week or so, I never run out of juice. Also has an awesome feature of 10-minute quick charge to get 2 hours of playback time, perfect for if you do forget to charge them but want to use them for a workout, flight, or whatever, you can get those 2 hours of charge pretty quickly. These earbuds also support multi-device pairing with Bluetooth multipoint, which I love, so I’m not constantly switching the pairing when using different devices. The JLAB app is great for total customization and equalizer. An intuitive companion app for getting the best experience out of the earbuds without too much effort. Overall, I think these are a great pair of earbuds at an excellent price. Lots of features that all work well together to deliver comfort, call quality, and a terrific listening experience.

    Budget Friendly ANC

I’ve been using the JLab JBuds ANC Pods in black for a bit now, and for the price, they actually hold up better than expected—especially if you’re someone who values solid ANC and a comfortable, low-profile design. Right out of the box, the carry case is compact and clean, with a built-in USB charging cable tucked underneath, which I actually appreciate when I don’t want to go digging around for a separate cable. It charges via USB-C too, so it’s modern and convenient. Battery life is more than decent. I was getting around 8 hours on a full charge with ANC off, and just under that with it on. The case adds a couple more charges, so I rarely found myself running low. I’ve used them throughout the day—Zoom calls, music sessions, even while running errands—and battery anxiety wasn’t a thing. As for sound quality, it's good for casual listening. Mids are balanced, the low-end gives just enough thump, and vocals come through clearly. That said, things can get a bit sharp at higher volumes. It's not a deal-breaker, but I found myself keeping the volume a couple clicks lower than max to avoid fatigue. Thankfully, there's an onboard EQ built into the touch controls—three modes you can cycle through without needing an app: JLab Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost. I stuck with the Balanced mode most of the time. Fit was tricky at first. The default medium tips kept slipping out during walks, but once I switched to the smaller ear tips, they stayed locked in way better. Once you get the fit right, the ANC kicks in impressively well. It does a solid job at knocking out most ambient noise—AC hum, street sounds, even background chatter at the coffee shop. For something in this price range, the noise cancellation surprised me in the best way. There’s also a Be Aware mode that uses the external mics to let in outside sound, which came in handy when I was walking around downtown or waiting for my name at a cafe. It doesn’t sound too artificial or hissy like some other budget earbuds I’ve tried. One small thing I wish they included is auto play/pause when you remove an earbud. That feature’s missing here, so your music or podcast keeps playing even if you pop one out to talk to someone. But on the bright side, you can use either earbud independently, which is great for calls or just keeping one ear free while multitasking. Overall, the JBuds ANC Pods deliver on value. They’re not tuned for audiophiles, but they sound solid, the ANC is better than expected, and the case is sleek and pocketable. If you’re after everyday earbuds that can block out noise, give you control over your sound, and last through the day, these are easy to recommend—just swap the tips to find the right fit, and you’re good to go.

Really good so far. I really like the hybrid noise cancelling. My only issue with it is that there is a small delay of the music. Like a 0.7 second delay.

These are a decent set of earbuds if you are looking for something simple to toss in your bag and take with you. These aren't crazy bass heavy or over the top exciting in terms of listening to music but more so good for the price point. Sound is very clear and the app has a few preset EQ to choose from or a custom setting if you are using them for music. I appreciate the ability to use the app and flip between the different ANC options. These also offer spatial audio which is a nice addition. The app makes it easy to make changed quickly but it does seem to take a little bit to download and update when there is a firmware change. These charge quickly and hold a charge pretty well. I like the option to wirelessly charge as well as this coming with a cord. I can easily charge these in my vehicle on the go with the included cord. I like the small size of the case they come in and the included ear gels. They are pretty comfortable and on the smaller side which I personally prefer. They fit securely in the charging case. Sound is decent for music and podcasts. I haven't used them for watching movies yet but they do just fine with scrolling social media too. Solid offering for the price point.

Earbuds are a dime a dozen today with price ranges all over depending on what features you are focused on. Recently JLAB has begun standing out in the budget per performance category and that really shines with these earbuds. First right out of the box I was impressed with the premium aesthetics as they have a sleek stem design that has both a modern and minimalist look. The matte black finish gives them a sophisticated edge, while the ergonomic build ensured they fit comfortably and securely as I used these for both daily use and for exercising. For that reason the IP55 rating is perfect as you don`t have to worry about sweat which was perfect for my workouts. This additionally gives that piece of mind in those situations where you may have these in and it starts to rain. Also when discussing the physical aspect of the earbuds I greatly appreciate how the touch controls are thoughtfully placed to avoid accidental taps when adjusting the fit. Looking at the other component of the actual performance of the earbuds, this is where they truly standout in this price point. These earbuds create a rich and immersive experience. The inclusion of the various sound modes let me manipulate the sound to be more bass heavy or vocal focused depending on the genre I`m listening to. The hybrid active noise cancellation is the true standout feature though in that it is incredibly effective in blocking out distractions without compromising sound clarity. Overall, when you combine the build quality with the performance and throw in two days worth of total playtime on a single charge these earbuds check all the boxes, especially at this price point. Whether it’s music, podcasts, or calls, these earbuds deliver a consistently impressive performance with a premium look. For that reason I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new set of earbuds that are not wanting to break the bank from a price standpoint.

The JLab JBuds Pods ANC (Active Noise Canceling) earbuds are a compact well-made pair stem type of wireless Bluetooth earbuds. They are towards the lower to mid-tier portion of the Jlab line and provide great performance at a decent price. As with most earbuds included are other sized interchangeable tips, the default installed medium buds seemed to be most comfortable in my ear. The control buttons on the surface (opposite side of each bud) seem capacitive so little force is needed to initiate control taps. I found once I got used to the touch patterns, I could easily control volume, track control and some configuration settings. As with most headphones or earbuds active noise cancelling (ANC) there are various modes, This Jlab model including an active mode (with levels of noise cancelling controllable in the app) hear through mode (passes ambient noise through the buds for situational awareness). These were easy to pair to my iPhone 15 ProMax and laptop. The package includes a small instructional insert, the well-done mobile app really shines, providing a lot of information regarding the operation of these earbuds, controls and firmware for the earbuds. The buds sit in a little carry case/charging station, which charges the ear buds and provides a battery source for another recharge cycle if needed. The claim is for about 56 hours of battery life with reserve charging capacity provided by the USB-C rechargeable case. Sound reproduction which is a must have with a good pair of earbuds, these were accurate with a good deal of dynamic range. The mobile app also provides EQ tuning options and a Spatial Audio setting which provided value as opposed to being gimmicky, producing a richer sound experience for some material. I also used the buds on a few Zoom calls and was very pleased with how they performed. The six built-in microphones seemed to capture conversations with ease. At the pool (and in this heat) I found IP55 rating to certainly be appealing in sticky situations. Multiple devices can connect to these earbuds simultaneously, providing additional flexibility in not require you to disconnect from one paired device while connecting with another. Bluetooth 5.4 brought these up to current connection standards and the signal was rock solid indoors and out, without any dropouts, even when distancing from the connected device. Pros: - sound great - Flawless Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity - Nice, feature laden mobile app - Settings and more settings via the app - No pressure buttons for control - Large LED status indicator on the front of the charging case. Cons: - Not a huge fan of “stem” type earbuds - Awkward to place in charging case

    Near Perfection

JLab has created a near perfect set of earbuds! There is so much to like! Out of the box I appreciate the overall small form factor. The case easily fits in a pocket or go-bag compartment. The build quality is rather solid. The case is a sturdy plastic with a strong lid hinge that stays open / closed. Magnets hold the earbuds securely in place. The buds themselves are also excellent quality with a solid housing. The case can be charged via USB-C and also supports wireless charging, which is a fantastic feature not found on all earbuds cases. There is an external light indicating charging status as well. Battery life for both the case and the earbuds is excellent and some of the best I've ever experienced. I easily get all day use from the earbuds and multiple recharges from the case. The feel in the ear is comfortable, even with extended use. The buds stay securely with moderate use. I did notice some slight slipping with exercise and quick head movements, but this is not anything different from many other brands of earbuds I've used. The ANC is well above par and can go head-to-head with most of the bigger name, more expensive brands. This can be activated by the earbuds themselves or via the companion app. Sound quality is phenomenal. Deep bass, clear highs, solid mids, negligible distortion at higher volumes. These things even have spatial audio which works incredibly well. As good as these are, they are made even better with the JLab app. Hands down the best audio app I've ever used. Of course it will show you the standard things such as battery life and status, but there is so much more. There are noise control toggles, a customizable interval timer for your workouts, a 10-band equalizer, touch controls that can be customized to your preferences, modes for movies and music, and a safe hearing selection. The level of customization in this app is beyond impressive. I can't recommend these earbuds enough. Excellent quality all the way around. Pick yourself up a pair and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I was a little skeptical about how good these were going to be given the price point. I must say I would say they are on par with both my Galaxy Buds Pro and my Galaxy Buds at a fraction of the price. Packaging is very compact. Comes with a very short USB-C cable for charging, I use wireless magnetic charging so not a big deal for me. There are also 2 different sized ear tips in addition to the ones that are installed. Pairing was effortless. I downloaded the app which is very easy to use and has a lot of features including ambient sounds that you can play thru the earbuds for relaxation. There are 3 different eq. settings plus a 4th you can customize. Overall sound quality is excellent, bass is strong without being punchy, high end is just a little brassy but can be toned down with the eq. Noise cancelling is about the same as my other earbuds( to me noise cancelling on in ear style earbuds just increases the sound, not true noise cancelling like you get with over-the-ear style headphones) Touch controls work great, better than my Galaxy buds. Battery life is as advertised. I had them on for an hour at the gym and they were down to 90% which would back up the 9 hour claim. They are very comfortable to wear and stay in place well. You can see the battery remaining in the app. for each individual bud, plus the case. The touch controls allow you to raise and lower the volume, play/pause the music, access Siri/Alexa, switch eq. settings, adjust noise control and move to next track. In the app. there is a setting for spatial audio. There is also an adjustable interval timer for working out, a music mode and movie mode and an adjustment for setting the noise limits for safe listening levels. Call quality is great and easily accessible with the touch controls. The case has a pulsing blue light to indicate charging and a white pulse to indicate charging the case. Case is very compact and easily carried in your pocket or purse. Overall I think these are going to become my go-to earbuds and I could not be more satisfied

Straight out of the box, pairing was simple. There were no buttons to push; I just had to put them in my ears. The earbuds are comfortable to wear for many hours at a time. Battery life is over 8 hours with typical daily activities. When needed, the charging case is fast and efficient, and it charges via USB-C. The earbuds are built with a glossy plastic that looks nice and hopefully stands up to reasonable wear and tear. I am impressed with the app. It is probably the best feature of these earbuds, as it allows for a lot of customization, including the equalizer and button functions. Call clarity was good from both my perspective and the friends I spoke to. Despite having some background noise reduction, there is still some background noise. The earbuds do not handle wind well when talking on phone calls, so I have to stay in quieter environments if I want to use them for calls. When it comes to Automatic Noise Cancellation, I am not impressed. These seem to only filter out the middle frequencies, which helps, but does not do nearly enough. If the surrounding noises are loud enough, the earbuds clip as if they are overwhelmed and don’t know what to do, so they just pause everything for a few seconds. On more than one occasion, I had a better experience by turning ANC off because it was clipping so often. While these handle phone calls fairly well, they are not the best for music. Bass frequencies are quite weak. Mids and trebles are better. As someone who likes bass, I am not impressed. Last but not least, Bluetooth range is the shortest I have seen at about 15 feet or one wall in between. I am used to having at least double that range Ultimately, I expected more from this brand. They have been great with prior earbuds, but these are not my favorite. I would not recommend them to a friend.

JLab JBuds ANC Pods - Lend me your ears...

First off, the ANC on these is isn't quite up to the litmus test of..."The Bathroom Exhaust Fan". As such I would use them on my daily walks with the ANC on as I was still quite aware of my surroundings, e.g., traffic noise. The ANC will quiet the sound of a regular fan at a low to medium speed in my main listening room while I listen to music via the JLabs. In other words, different horses for different courses and for a handicapped senior such as myself who takes daily walks and uses IEMs (In Ear Monitors) for taking and receiving phone calls and listening to low level music? These are great! It is important to be aware of what is going on around you and the relatively low amount of noise reduction works well enough to take the edge of background noise all while allowing you to listen to music and take calls during your walks. The JLab's JBuds easily paired to my iPhone 16 Pro Max and their touch controls were easy to use to turn on/off ANC as well as for adjusting the volume, skipping songs and taking calls! In the real world, this is all one can ask of a genuine work horse of a product and that is what JLab's JBuds are! They are a QUALITY made, AFFORDABLE workhorse that does the job they were designed for! The carrying case (which when charged will also recharge the units should you need to do son when on the go!) is small and upon initially receiving them I charged it and the IEMs (by placing them within the case) overnight while I slept. The supplied USB-C cable is rather short but that wasn't a problm for me and I also charged them using a portable powerbank with USB-C capability! I used them throughout the day (you can even use just 1 JBud at a time if you are so inclined!) and the longest period of time I had them in continuous, uninterrupted use was just over 4 hours at a low but easily heard volume in my home while exercising in my garage gym and cleaning the house. That is the real world in which I live. I have no doubt they will last longer than that but for me that is pretty much the limit at this time in my life. The JLabs ANC JBuds were comfortable to wear and they really do reproduce music very well. Again, their ANC isn't their strong point but it is fine for general use such as I have described here, i.e., talking walks, exercising, cleaning your home, etc. They are quite the value in a comfortable and capable pair of earbuds. They are easily paired, charged and a delight in use! I have no problem recommending for someone that lives in the real world such as I.

Fairly impressive ear buds. THE GOOD ~ Amazing battery life ~ Sound quality ~ Call quality ~ Great fit ~ USB-C Charging ~ Look good THE BAD ~ Incomplete controls for music THE MEH (Could go either way) ~ Something awkward about placing them back in the case ~ Incomplete controls for music OVERALL I very much like these ear buds. I have been testing them for almost two weeks and I still have not had to charge the case. I think it is sitting around 55-60% of battery. For me, that's amazing. I spend a lot of time driving and on the phone as well as using the ear buds while at the gym every day. If you're an audiophile or a road warrior that spends a lot of time talking, you'll love the battery life. Call quality is very good as well. I drive a noisy vehicle. With my old ear buds, people would complain about background noise, even with noise canceling on. With these, everyone says they can hear me much better. The ear buds are comfortable and haven't fallen out while working out or doing yard work. It's always a little bit of a learning curve getting used to new music controls on a set of buds. These are no different. The Samsung pair I had been using were simple: two taps to advance the song, three taps to go back. As best as I could tell from the manual and experimentation, there is no replay or go-back option. Sometimes while working out, I want to replay a song that might be pumping me up for another set. Now, I have to grab my phone, open it, and do it. I would take off half a star for this if I could. There is something awkward about putting these back in the case. It's probably just my big fingers. The first week, I fumbled them a little. I'm more used to it now. Both of these things I just mentioned really can go either way, depending on what you like and/or are used to. I already mentioned fit, but I also like the design. They don't protrude too far out of the ear or have the same clunky look my Samsungs do. With the letter, I sometimes would accidentally bump them and hang up on a call or change the music (or make it play when I didn't want to). That doesn't happen with these. THE BIG QUESTION: Would I recommend these? Absolutely. I would recommend them to anyone, but I would tell my music-loving friends about the controls.

A Wonderful Pair of Truly Wireless Earbuds

The Jlab true wireless earbuds, JBUDS ANC - Black, arrived simply packaged for retail sale. In the box were the JBUDS Pods, 4 replacement domes, a short USB - C cord, a charging case and a quick start guide. I began by fully charging the earbuds in the charging case before testing them out for my evaluation and review. Once fully charged I found it very easy to pair the JBUDS with my smartphone and after selecting some music I like, began using the JBUDS. JLAB recommends that users perform a "burn in" using the available JLAB applications for IOS and Android. I later in the day began the burn in process as recommended. My first impressions listening to music through the JBUDS were quite favorable. The JBUDS provide 9-10 hours of Bluetooth use before needing to be recharged. The charging case provides 46 hours of charging giving a total of 56 hours of use before a complete recharge of the case and earbuds is needed. That is about the highest wireless use time in the business. Jlab JBUDS application is available for download on your smartphone IOS or Android store and supports 3 preset sound profiles plus a custom equalizer function to suit each user's needs. I found my favorite profile using the custom option. The JBUDS arrive with a hybrid noise supressing function built in as well as having controls built into each JBUD to control volume up and down, access to Siri/OK Google button, Noise control EQ change, answer call, hang up calls, and reject incoming calls. These controls are accessed by touching the JLab Button on either JBUD a specific number of times for each action. The charging case blinks blue when charging and shows a solid white color when fully charged. The lab quality sound produced by the JBUDS is excellent and equals or exceeds other earbuds I have used in the past. The JBUDS are much easier to pair, charge and use as well. They also provide These are a great pair of true wireless earbuds that should provide the user with many many hours of IP55 sweat and splashproof enjoyment.

The JLab - Jpods ANC are an affordable set of earbuds with hybrid Active Noise Canceling. They're not really meant to be a replacement for much more expensive, sometimes better sounding earbuds from other bigger brands, but they do very well at this price point. Sound quality and volume covers a great range of bass, mids and highs quite well from 20Hz to 20KHz. The charging case has a standard USB-C port and can also be charged wirelessly. Pairing them with my Android phone and laptop was quick and easy, thanks to Bluetooth 5.4 and multipoint support. I played a few Amazon Music tunes and YouTube videos and tried out the EQ settings and various pre-set sound modes available in the JLab App. The Active Noise canceling can also be changed with the App from Off to On or Awareness mode which will allow surrounding sounds to pass through the mics into the earbuds. They do a decent job blocking the ambient noise but you have to make sure the silicone in-ear tips form a good seal. Make sure you try all included sizes to determine what works best and is most comfortable for you. The touch controls are pretty intuitive and can also be customized through the App. I found the touch and swipe-up/down for volume to be a very useful feature. Also both earbuds have the same controls, so you don’t have to remember different commands for your left or right hands. Overall if you’re on a limited budget and are not expecting audiophile level sound, these will do a great job for music, movies and phone calls.

JLabs has established itself as the clear leader in value headphones in my opinion. The JBuds Pods ANC continue that trend, coming in at an extremely low price with impressive features. On top of that, they have excellent sound compared to other inexpensive earbuds that I have used. #Unboxing and first impressions# The JBuds Pods ANC come in a pretty standard cardboard box. Inside the box, you get the earbuds and their carrying case, a small accessories box with different sizes of the ear tips, and a very short USB-C cable to charge the case. Notably for an inexpensive earbuds set, the JBuds case charges wirelessly, as well. I haven't seen wireless charging on a set of earbuds anywhere near this price point so I think that's pretty excellent. In addition to the wireless charging capability, the case also reports its charge level to your phone when you have at least one of the earbuds in the case, which can be very handy and is not included in many lower priced earbud sets. #Using the JBuds Pods ANC# Pairing the JBuds Pods ANC to my Galaxy S25 Ultra was super easy. I just took them out of the case, removed the plastic that protects the charging tips, and then reinserted them into the case. When I removed them next, they were immediately in pairing mode. While in my phone's bluetooth menu, I got a prompt to add them (the easy pairing feature you see with a lot of BT 5.x headphones). Sound quality is greatly dependent on having the right size ear tips on the JBuds. I found the sound pretty tinny and lacking in bass until I put the correct size on them (the largest size was needed). Once I did that, the sound was very impressive for a value priced earbud. Solid bass that isn't overpowering, a decent noise floor, and overall a warm sound. I tried the JLabs app on my phone as well, which gave the option to try the Spatial sound profile, and I found that does give you a very open sound stage but a little too processed sounding for my tastes. The active noise cancelation on the JBuds Pods ANC is really impressive. I had the opportunity to use them on a relatively long flight across the country this weekend, and I was actually kind of amaze at how well they reduced the engine noise of the plane. Like some of the best ANC headphones I have used, the JBuds Pods reduced engine noise and made it easier to hear my child's voice in the seat next to me - something I don't often hear with overly-aggressive ANC headphones. The JBuds also have a "Be Aware" ANC mode that boosts all sounds, which can be helpful for in-flight announcements. You can switch ANC modes by holding your finger to the left earbud for a second or two. Comfort is very good -- I had no problems wearing them for an entire flight, with the caveat that the "stick" style earbuds do make it more difficult to lay your head against something without dislodgiing them. On the other hand, like many stick earbuds the extra protrusion gives them a lot of stability when moving around and they do seem to stay seated in my ear canal quite well for mowing the lawn and such. #Final Thoughts# The JBuds Pods ANC have supplanted my previous recommendation for a true wireless earbud for less than $100, and they do so at a far lower price. I've used many different earbuds during my time as a Tech Insider Member, and the JBuds Pods ANC are only beaten by earbuds that cost 3 times as much - they are a fantastic value and easy to recommend.

These are actually some really great, affordable earbuds where the sound quality is solid. The noise cancellation is great while listening to music. If you are using them to block out noise with no sound, they are good. You can still hear people chatting, but their voices are more muffled than without the earbuds. Still good though. While listening to music, the sound quality and cancellation are great because you can get lost in the music without disruption. My son, who is 14, thought the bass quality could be better, but I thought it was great. Just enough bass without overpowering the sound of the song. Different age groups and different perspectives, so the bass and sound expectations are different for everyone. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the earbuds didn't stay put in my ears or my son's ears. We tried every single earbud attachment, and every so often, while wearing the earbuds, it would slip out a little. That can be quite annoying if you're walking, working out, or even while sitting. It only took a little over an hour to charge the earbuds, and if using them most of the day, it lasted about 2-3 days. The earbud quality feels long-lasting, and other than it slipping out of my ear every so often, it is comfy to wear for a few hours. I would def recommend these earbuds.
