They actually still worked but I'd used them so much the on/off button area has actually been worn away. They last 2 years of daily use. This is a newer version of those old earbuds and so far they seem just as good...better actually because the battery life seems much better than my old ones. These are excellent earbud for the price.

They connect each time with with issues and have a really great sound. I use these for a backup pair to my much more expensive Samsung Buds.
