The only drawback is if they are used for multiple devices. One of the devices must be turned off because Bluetooth does not know which device to connect to.

Note that they are not like the little ones that are just inside the ear. They are connected to each other by a wire, and have some control buttons on the wire. These buttons allow you to turn them on and off and raise and lower the volume. That's really convenient when you're not really close to the sound source. I use them in bed so I don't disturb my wife. So what's the problem? This is my third set. Both of the first two had the buttons break after a few months. I bought a third set, but this time I paid for the service contract.
