Think brought more so for the color purple (her favorite) and bcz of the warranty in the event these were to break just the same. She has had them several months and they still work. I like the fact that the cord is braided in a rope material and not plastic. I think she would prefer the parts actually covering the ears to be slightly larger;however, no other complaints.

Nice, but a bit small.
