Wow! Does this tiny Bluetooth speaker pump out sound! And it’s not just great volume, the audio quality is deep and full, meaning whatever you’re listening to - music, audio books, podcasts, ambient sounds - will sound just like they’re meant to. And the RGB lights add that fun factor! Pairing/ connecting the Pop Party Bluetooth Speaker to my mobile phone was so easy. There is a JLAB app which you can use to turn the RGB lights on/off, along with fine tuning your audio with the customizable equalizer settings. While the app is pretty basic, it’s not necessary to use the speaker right out of the box. Versatile and portable, while also being IPX5 rated “water-resistant” so that you can use it by the pool or hot tub, on a hike, at the beach, on a picnic in the park … I myself am primarily going to use the speaker while I shower (or take a bath). This JLAB speaker’s design is really cool, too. The rubber loop ‘handle’ slides open to easily attach to a backpack strap, bike handle bar, shower door rod, etc. The rubberized “feet” on the bottom keep the speaker stable and help prevent it sliding around on a slick surface. This Pop Party Ultra-Portable Wireless speaker is of excellent quality, as I’ve come to expect from just about every JLAB device I’ve owned. Bottom line - while small in size, this JLAB speaker produces amazing audio, is an inexpensive option, and is super fun to use!

This is a very nice small speaker. I love that you can change the color thru the app. I did find that on some settings the colors do not match up. Like I had to select Green for instance to get pink. But small and still got it how I wanted. This speaker packs a punch for its size. At full volume, I was still able to hear and music without it distorting. Was easy to connect as well. I have this at work, where it can get pretty loud and I have no issues not hearing this. I have a light strip at work, which makes this a fun speaker to have as I can set them to be a similar light pattern. I like that this is small, which makes it very easy to pack and take with you. I have a niece who is just over a year old and loves to carry this around with her. keeps her entertained. It is nice to see companies move to USB-C to charge. This also seems to get pretty good battery life out of it. I run it most of the day as I work 8–10-hour days and this last all day. If I had to complain, it would be that the charging cord was not long. I would love to see a 6' cord if not longer. Also, that this does not seem to have wireless charging. But both of those are minor. Overall, great speaker, small but packs a punch.

The JLab - Pop Party Speaker is a handful of big sound. Don't let the size fool you on the sound. It packs great, big, beautiful sound into a small portable palm size package. The sound comes through loud and clear. The RGB lighting is bright, fun and customizable. Quick guide shows how to connect and operate the speaker by itself and the JLab app gives more options for sound and lighting. Connection to our phones via bluetooth was quick and easy. The ability to sync up to 100 speakers means sharing music in large spaces is not a problem. The battery lasts for hours and it uses a USB-C charging cable for quick charging. The strap for hanging is convenient, although I'm not convinced it will last long if used often. The size makes it so convenient to take anywhere and everywhere. Small enough to drop in a purse, keep in the car, on a counter or side table. It doesn't take much space and light enough to carry wherever you go. Great for using around the house, yard, garden, beach, park, car, parties, get togethers with friends. Wherever you want to listen to your collection of music, books, podcasts, etc...

A cute little speaker with a few nifty features. The build quality is decent, but not what I would call stellar. The plastic housing will certainly guard against general bumps and dings, and small drops onto soft surfaces. I worry that drops from higher levels or onto more solid surfaces such as concrete may prove too much. Connecting to devices is straightforward and stable via bluetooth. No dropped or lost connections. Audio is rather mid. To be fair, this isn't for the true audiophile. It's meant to be that speaker you set out for the backyard bbq, or for the kids to play their music while they play outside. It is decently loud for such use cases, but the audio has a very muffled tone. This can be somewhat controlled with the JLab app, but not to any great degree. The equalizer is great and offers amazing control, but the speaker itself simply diminishes the output quality. Speaking of the JLab app - this is where you can control EVERYTHING about this speaker. You can connect multiple speakers, change the power button press functions, toggle voice prompts, and control the lighting functions. Props to JLab and a pretty solid app experience. What about those nifty features? Well, really it's about device placement. First there is a flexible loop strap that allows you to hang the speaker from pretty much anywhere - a fence, chair, cooler, tree limb, ok you get the idea. The other handy feature, and one I appreciated the most, is the magnetic mounting capability. There are two magnets on the back of the speaker that allow you to slap this thing on any metal surface - though I'd avoid the side of your grill. Stick it to your car, door, desk, toolbox, etc. and off you go. The magnets are strong and the speaker stays in place. Overall this is a pretty handy speaker from JLab. Small and light enough to throw in your bag, great battery life, loud, customizable. Really it's not a bad little party speaker. As long as you don't expect to be "wowed" by the audio quality, I think you'll find this to be a handy little device.

Price is great. Sound is okay but the on buttons are non existent. There is no way to control the volume from the unti itself.

Well done, very well done. Very impressive little speaker. We were looking for a blue tooth speaker for our 11yr old daughter and stumbled across the JLab pop party speaker and figured we'd give it a shot. First impression is that it felt well bilt and was the perfect size for just about hand. It has multicolor and pattern RGB lighting around the face of the speaker which our kiddo loves. It has a built in lanyard the she uses to strap it on her backpack. Its a pretty loud little speaker. It has a good full range of sound, from crisp clean highs to deep lows thanks to its passive radiator. We quite frequently have to ask her turn it down. The ability to link upto 100 of these is wild to me. I couldnt imagine the sound that would come out of 100 of these, it would probably feel like being at a live show. Battery life is good too. Pairing and setup was super simple. There is an application that you can download to further control function. All in all this is a great speaker at an even better price point. 100% would recommend this speaker.

An oval shape and lightweight enough to easily fit in your hand. The plastic loop extends from one end that allows the speaker to hang from any number of things. I have mine hanging from a hook in the shower for podcasts. You can loop it to a backpack, gym bag, the back of a chair or your belt loop with a carabiner. There are magnets on the back so it will mount to anything such as a refrigerator also. It is IP55 rated so there is water resistance which is obvious visually by looking at the bass radiator underneath. It is a 5 watt speaker so you wont be thumping away but that isn't the point here. The lighting effects and app are outstanding. The sound customization options are there but probably overkill and the default sound profile seems to be the best anyway which they name JLab signature. It's lightweight and so fun to play around with all the light modes. There is endless customization. It is a product that again everyone should own with performance and features that outshine it's low cost by a mile. They will sell truckloads of these during the holidays.

The JLab Pop Party speaker is a small, inexpensive, awesome Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality, really the first measure of any speaker, is surprisingly good for a speaker of this size (and price). It offers excellent sound in a package the size of your hand and an amazing array of options for the price. The feature list is also pretty amazing considering the price. The Pop Party is designed for portability. It fits in your hand, with a loop handle and magnetic base for mounting on handlebars, pack rings, belt loops, or stick it on a metal surface with the magnetic base. Power it on and it's ready to pair, with voice prompts to talk you through each step. The Pop Party can be sync'ed with a second speaker for stereo, or with up to 99 other speakers for music distribution all over. The app (Android, IOS) allows configuration of the lighting, voice prompts, equalization and syncing with other speakers. Setup was trivial, power on the speaker, pair, and you're up and running. A lot of feature configuration can be done by multiple presses of the power button, but the app is so much more convenient. It adds access to a 10 band equalizer, preset sound curves, pairing and syncing options, as well as voice prompts and lighting configuration. I've used the Pop Party for all sorts of music, ranging from classical to metal, as well as using it with a laptop for a movie soundtrack. Sound never got muddy or distorted even at high volumes. The bass was surprisingly strong, although not gut punching, and the treble was clear and crisp, never squeaky. Using it for movies and Youtube videos with a laptop was a significant upgrade over the laptop speakers. Yes, lighting can be completely disabled, which I did while watching videos. I've actually ordered a second Pop Party (yes, they are that inexpensive) to use as stereo speakers with a gaming/AV laptop. The Pop Party can be set up as stereo speakers, with left and right channel assignment. Another cool feature! The Jlab Pop Party is an amazing Bluetooth speaker that will hardly put a dent in your bank. The sound and features put it in a class way above it's price. I can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for a portable speaker, it should be at the top of your list!

The JLab Pop Party speaker delivers exactly what I expected. This is a bluetooth speaker which features rgb lighting, a loop handle, magnetic back, and is IPX5 waterproof. Setup was fairly straightforward. You set it up like any other bluetooth speaker, using your device's bluetooth settings. Sound quality of this speaker was actually pretty impressive for it's size. The RGB lighting actually surprised me too. There are 6 different lighting effects by default, some of which are reactive to the music that is playing. These were my favorite lighting modes. The loop was also a nice addition. You can open it up so that you can loop it around something like a backpack strap or handlebars or something. It's really convenient in a portable speaker like this. Aside from that, the underside features two magnets so you can stick your speaker to something metal like a fence post or car door or something. Now, I noticed that the magnets aren't super strong, like you can't place the speaker upside down on something. The magnet is not strong enough to hold it. So I'd stick to flat or or slanted surfaces. Vertical is risky. As long as you don't bump it or something, it will stay put. One cool feature that I read about in the manual but couldn't really test is called LabSync. This is where you can sync up to 100 of these speakers together. This seems like it could be really cool in a party of club setting. For home personal use, probably not so much. But still a cool feature nonetheless. Overall I am very happy with this little speaker. It offers great sound quality for it's size and welcome features in a portable speaker, like the loop handle and magnetic bottom. The lights are also fun to play with, or you can turn them off if that's not your thing. I can easily recommend if you are looking for a good portable speaker.

Jlab is a brand that is synonymous with affordability and great audio. All their speakers are great, including the Pop Party Speaker! It's lightweight convenience, portability, and affordability make it an easy choice for someone looking for a compact speaker they can throw in their bag or pocket for an on the go lifestyle. The speaker is small but it puts out big sound. On the top is a speaker and on the bottom is a subwoofer. Now, being that this is a small speaker, don't expect the subwoofer to "thump" all that hard. If you are looking for that, you may as well go with a larger speaker. It also has an LED light ring round the top speaker that puts out different colors and patterns. The speaker has a strap on it that can be attached to a bike, cooler, bag, fence, or whatever you can loop it around. The speaker charges via an included USB-C cable and it is advertised as having 8 hours of play time (or 5 hours if you run the lights). It is splash proof making it safe to use with rain or pool water near it. The audio and light patterns can be customized via the Jlab app that can be downloaded to your smartphone. You can also customized the multifunction button controls from the app. Another cool feature is that you can, according to the box the speaker came in, link up to 100 of the Jlab party speakers together if you are having a large gathering with your friends or family. All in all, this is a fun little speaker with a cheap price point. It is easy to take along wherever you go so that you can enjoy music anywhere!

The JLab party pop is a party in the form of a speaker. With good sound, deep bass, a customizable light show, and rich app support, this is a great option for a speaker at a value price. The build quality of this speaker is great. It feels like a durable plastic, which is a great material for protection against something like drops. Also, the design has the party in mind. First, there’s built in RGB lights (customizable via app which adds a fun element to any party). There’s a built in loop on the speaker you can use to mount the speaker places. The loop also has the ability to be partially detached, which increases the flexibility in being able to mount on a number of surfaces. Also, there are magnets in the speaker, so I’ve been able to just stick it to a number of metal surfaces (even a street pole!) The sound quality, considering its form factor and price, is very good. It has a bigger sound than I expected considering its form factor. It was loud and didn’t sound distorted at max volume. The app is useful. It allows you to adjust the lights which was good enough for me. This unit was great. If you are looking for a great value on a portable speaker, I would be happy with this unit.

My dad loves listen to music wherever he goes. He is always carrying around portable speakers and listening to music. I gifted him his current speaker, and it has been great over the years, but I thought it was time for a new one. As I previously mentioned, his current portable speaker has been going strong for the past few years. So, I wanted something that will last him just as long. With this in mind, I had to go with a JLab portable speaker, as I have had a few of their other portable speakers for years and they are still going strong. Portability, battery life, and sound quality are a MUST! So, I picked up the JLab - Pop Party Speaker to give it a try. I am really happy that I decided to go with the JLab - Pop Party Speaker. Right off the batt, the JLab - Pop Party Speaker was a hit with my dad. One of his favorite features is the magnetic base that allows him to set his speaker on any metal surface. He loves planting, so the magnetic base allows him to place his speaker on the fence without having to worry about losing it. As for the sound quality, JLab did not dissapoint! For such a small speaker, it packs a punch. The lightshow is another added benefit to the JLab - Pop Party Speaker. The built-in loop handle allows my dad to take his speaker anywhere. Just places it on his belt loop and he is set to go with music just about anywhere. I highly recomment the JLab - Pop Party Speaker to anyone.

The JLab Pop Party speaker is a pretty neat little device. For a very inexpensive bluetooth speaker, JLab have added a ton of value, and not just the obvious items like the hanging loop and the RGB lighting. My favorite feature of the JLab Pop Party speaker is the magnetic back, actually. Thanks to the two magnets on the rear/bottom of the speaker, my kids can easily slap it onto the metal legs of their desk or bed. It's also great for sticking on the side of the fridge while listening to a podcast or audiobook and making dinner, so it's not just a kid's toy. That isn't to say the RGB lighting and silicone hanging loop aren't great features. The loop is a little bit too small in my opinion, but more than big enough to use on a shower curtain or bike handlebars. The RGB lighting is incredibly bright, and actually has a decent framerate for its animations. There's also a passive radiator on the back side to give it a bit more bass extension, and in general it sounds good enough to justify the price, regardless of non-sound-related features. Overall, this is a great little speaker at a very low price. I am probably going to pick up an another one or two of the same model for the party feature that pairs them all to the same source. Highly recommended if you want a fun and surprisingly convenient little speaker.

The JLab Pop Party is one of the best purchase for the price, I have had! It packs so much in a little super portable party audio voice. And it definitely fits its name of Pop Party. Anywhere can turn into a pop up party. Setup is as easy as can be. Once it turns on, it ready to pair. As is out of the box, the settings are fine. But if you want to adjust settings and equalizations, you do have download the JLab app. I prefer the bass boost equalization, however you can choose custom sound curves. You can also adjust the LED light settings. The JLab Pop Party is really fool proof. One power button for on and off. And one USB=C port for charging. It has a rubber strap to hang it somewhere. You can set it on a flat surface. BUT it also has a magnetic base the you could put it on any metal surface! I have it use right now, while writing this review. The JLab Pop Party is the best "bang" for the buck in all categories. I you are going to spend a few dollars, add this to your audio experience. Totally portable, water splash proof, and really good sound quality for its size. I'm glad I have this an audio option, beaches, parties, work use, or just to listen around the house. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!

I'm a big fan of this little speaker! I've got a few bigger Bluetooth speakers for hanging out with friends, but nothing I'd really want to lug around all the time. This JLab Pop Party Speaker is the first one that truly feels like it can go anywhere with me. It clips right onto my bag, super easy and versatile. I've used it at work, while working out, and even when I'm just getting ready to head out. Setup was a total breeze once I downloaded the JLab app. There was an update waiting for the speaker, but it didn't take long at all. The app lets you tweak the sound and even how the lights behave. You can even link a bunch of these speakers together for a real pool party vibe, though I haven't tried that yet. One thing I absolutely love about this speaker is the built-in magnets. I can stick it to gym equipment, keeping it off the floor for better sound. And speaking of sound, it's nice and clear with some surprising bass for its size. It's super portable, has a long battery life, and great sound for how small it is. Definitely an easy recommendation from me!

This Jlab pop speaker is one of many different product line JLab has available, since their development, the company seems to be on the forefront of new styles at affordable pricing. This party speaker continues their trend with having great sound while having an easy to use product. The bass does carry throughout their music where it belongs, but does sound better when laid flat to reflect the sound of the music while increasing its volume. The price of the product seems to be on point whether buying it for yourself, for kids, or teens to have as a daily use product or item. In this case, this is a perfect little travel speaker to hang or magnet place from your bag, tent, or cycle, so when you’re out and about at night you are easily noticed while being able to play music aloud at a comfortable volume for yourself, or small crowds/parties. The speaker is fully customized via the JLab app from sound equalizer, colors, and personalized settings. Charging is easy and last quite a while, around 8-10 hours last pending amount of use of lighting and volume. Definitely a valuable purchase and recommend.

I have several portable speakers that I've used over the years in varying sizes and usefulness. The last couple speakers I got were much larger than this and while they serve their purpose I was looking for something a little more portable for taking on the go. This has been a fun little addition to the speaker collection and I find we are using it the most in bathroom for bath/shower time and for playing outside. My kids are starting to develop their own taste in music and having fun listening to music more often. We use an alexa in their rooms but they wanted to have music during bathtime and I listen to podcasts while I shower. This has been a fun way to listen to music and the fun lights add a new element of joy to the experience. We've used this on walks and just playing outside and goofing around listening to music. The sound quality is pretty decent for the size, I wasn't expecting over the top performance without going to a much larger speaker. Jlab is always easy to connect to or setup and this speaker was no different than previous products I've used from them. I do wish the battery lasted a little bit longer but it's helping the kids remember to plug things in from time to time before the battery dies mid use. I think if you have kids who love music and want something compact this is a fun way to encourage their love of music.

My family and I love to listen to music and with something this portable, we can take it with us to the park, beach and wherever else we want to go. I wasn’t expecting it to sound as good as it does, considering the size, but I am very impressed. I hooked this up to my iPad and downloaded the app and began playing some music. I listen to all types of music so I wanted to test the genres that I normally play. I played everything from Adele and Pink to Jazz, Hip-Hop and R&B. Adele’s Hello is one of my favorite pop/R&B songs and it sounded great. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not going to be heard from around the block or bust any windows out, but it works perfectly for my family of 5. Jazz and R&B also sounded much better than expected. I finally played some Hip-Hop and it wasn’t bad either. There is a decent amount of bass coming through it and it did sound a little overwhelming for the little speaker, but after adjusting some EQ settings, I got it to where I was happy. The light flashes to the beat of the song and can be turned off in the app. It looks like you can also sync multiple party speakers in the app, but I didn’t have another device to test this. My device came fully charged and I was able to use it right out of the box. This is the perfect little speaker for on the go and around the house. I really like this and will most likely keep it in my truck for when we are out and about. I highly recommend this speaker and would get another one in a heartbeat.
