The Jlab on ear headphones are a really nice option for anyone looking for a decent pair of noise cancelling headphones without the high prices that come with the high end sets. In the box are the headphones, charging cord, 'instructions' flyer and a carrying bag. The bag is nice--not very high-end, of course, but it does the job. The basic controls are on the headphones--bluetooth connected to every device I tried almost instantly and with no issues. The volume controls on the headphones are a little tricky at first, but easy enough to get a handle on quickly. The headphones are nice, though like most headphones they're a little small for my large head. For being 'on ear' rather than 'over the year' they are very comfortable. I didn't have to adjust them much, which is a big endorsement from me. It didn't take very long to charge the set, and the battery never actually ran out the entire time I used them. I'm in the habit of plugging things in when I'm done with them, but I purposely waited to charge them several days while using them for at least an hour a day. I don't think the charge ever fell below 50%. They are entry level so there aren't a lot of extra features, but the basic features are nice and perform better than expected. Sound quality was very good for music or even movies if you use them with a TV set or computer, etc. I was very impressed with the sound quality on phone calls. I could hear the caller very clearly, and was told by everyone I talked to that they heard me without any issues. The noise cancelling is adequate. Obviously it's not the same as a $300 set of headphones, but it does the job pretty well. At this level they won't cancel all noise, but most noise is filtered. There is a mild effect on sound quality when it's active, I noticed, but nothing too detrimental. In a nutshell if you are thinking about a set of noise cancelling headphones but don't want to put a ton of money into it this is a great set of entry level headphones that will give you a great idea of what they're capable of, and will likely do the job for most people.

You're better off getting the cheaper version of these without the ANC, these headphones are not as loud as you would want them to be and they get even quieter with the ANC on, even though you can still hear your surroundings. They only lasted me about 6 months. Get the cheaper model

I have a few JLab products and I'm often surprised at how good they are. The Jlab Studio ANC Wireless is no exception. In fact, I was more surprised and it feels odd to say, but the noise cancellation is actually superior to over-ear headphones (blocks people talking in the room, not just background hum like HVAC and plane engines). I never expected the ANC on these JLabs to be that good and I think it's because the fit is comfortable but firm and really covers your ears. This has some extra benefits, no sweaty ears but the other thing is if you experience that "underwater effect" from ANC headphones you don't get it with these Jlab On Ear. For that reason alone, this could be the answer for anyone who wants ANC and struggles with in-ear over-ear headphones. Audio quality and noise cancelation is great. I do recommend you use the JLab app for the first go just to condition/burn in the headphones to get the speakers primed. It really does make a difference. Build quality is good and I think the JLab On Ear actually looks better and more premium than some of their other pricier products. Oh, and the headphones fold in to make a more compact unit when not in use. Things to know. It's micro USB charged (wish it was USB C). You can use Bluetooth and Audio Input, but it's a Micro USB to audio cable - so don't lose it. It does mean you can listen to in-flight entertainment in a plane though - which is nice. JLab does include a little bag to carry the Studio ANC's, cables, etc. when not in use. I really appreciate them including a bag. So thank you JLab! I honestly think these are the best On Ear ANC headphones I have ever used. I would give it 5 stars, but I really do prefer USB charging just so I can carry less cables. Just FYI, in my tests, you can't charge and listen to audio at the same time. This shouldn't be an issue (battery is rated at 30+ hours) but worth knowing.

They weren’t really that great, went with the Sony wch 515 instead

These are your basic on ear headphones. They sound good, better than average. The battery last quite a while, the Bluetooth range is great, even when your phone has a terrible Bluetooth connection usually. In the box there is an Aux to micro USB that allows you to plug in the headset to your computer or phone (if your phone has an aux port). The micro USB annoys me, I have preference to USB C, however, these match my kids headphones so and other older equipment so it isn't the end of the world. These are initially quite comfortable but only for about 45min for myself. When I wear my glasses I start to feel where they are pushing my frames into the side of my head. My ears stick out a little so they start getting soar as well. For a short amount of time they work great but these aren’t a headset that I would personally wear for more than an hour or so at a time. The noise cancelling is decent for on ear and the mic works but isn’t superb. Overall, these are okay and work. If your phone has a micro USB port and you are looking for a headset that shares the charger, these would work great for that. If you are looking for a good looking set for a kid these would work great for that. I could easily recommend this to someone with flatter ears and no glasses if they didn't mind micro USB.

Headphone not meeting my needs too cumbersome to operate

Worked great even though I never trusted the charging cord. It didn’t seem to fit into headphones correctly. Sure enough, as of December 2021 it will not charge the headphones. Up until then, the headphones worked ok.

I truly enjoyed the sound quality of these headphones but they sound button stuck about 25 days into purchase. With BB short return policy Im stuck with a pair of headphones that no longer turn on or off. What a waste.

Easy to pair with my phone. First thing I noticed was the base was on the weak side although overall sound quality was okay for budget headphones. Earcups are comfortable for a couple of hours or so. After that, many will need to take a break because their ears will hurt. Mine did. To be fair, so far, I have found only a pair of headphones that were always comfortable on my head and ears for many hours, and they were many times more expensive than this. ANC works to a certain extent, but it is far from perfect. Jlabs has better ANC headphones like the Studio PRO ANC to be considered if you really want that feature. Still, better than no ANC. Also, the Pro model has better base and overall sound quality as you would expect. I like that it is lightweight and batteries last a long time. I would not give too much credit for the E3 and Bass Boost features, but again, this is a budget headphone. So, I would recommend it for the budget conscious as it is a good value. If you like good base and ANC, go with another model.

After using these over the ear headphones, I feel that they are satisfactory. They aren't "knock your socks off" good, but they get the job done. I like the price point vs quality aspect. They aren't expensive when you're considering they are noise cancelling. The quality of the noise cancelling is sub-par in my opinion, but for the price it is adequate. They fold up which is awesome. Very portable! I think this is my favorite feature. The battery life is great. I recommend charging them with the included USB-c cable prior to use. Connecting to Bluetooth was a breeze! I also like the quality of the materials used. They feel like they cost a couple hundred dollars but they are much cheaper!

OUCH! These are painful! Average sound quality and little, if any, noise cancellation. Didn't test Mic properties because I'm returning them. Uncomfortable on two accounts: 1) Ear pads are small and headset is tight. 2) When ANS is turned on there is a strange pulsating pressure that hurts the eardrum. OUCH! I'm sorry I didn't spend more for the Sennheiser. I have their wired noise canceling headset and love them.

In the box is the headphones, the micro-usb to usb charger, micro-usb to aux cable for listening after the battery dies, a pouch for the headphones, and user manual. Straight out of the box, these headphones are slightly smaller than what you would imagine ‘studio’ headphones to be. Not to be confused though, these stylishly retro looking headphones pack a deep and rhythmic sound for their smaller size. I was thoroughly impressed by the bass from them, as well as the clarity. The ANC isn’t something to do a double take over, but works well for blocking out ambient sound in a room or listening outside. Now, the downside of the headphones being on the smaller side is prolonged listening may cause soreness around the cartilage of the ear, or depending how your head is shaped, the pressure slightly below your ear on the edge of your ear. The only way I’ve found to remedy this soreness is by adjusting the headphones forward, or up, slightly but this only transfers the sort of uncomfortable pressure to a different spot. Overall, the headphones still deserve a decent 4/5 even with the discomfort for their impeccable sound.

Needed headphones when Covid started. Thought these were reasonably priced. Stopped working fir me after 1 day. Did the same for my daughter the next day. Returned them.

Headphones did not last a full year. Heavy bass. Overall good use. Wish they could’ve lasted longer.
