Sound is a bit thin and metallic unless you get close to it. Very much need to up close to take advantage of the proximity effect to get a fuller sound.

The unboxing is easy, open the box take out the mic, USB cable, connect, select in the app you're using the TalkGo mic and is ready to go. The mic is small but it comes with two major features, press one button and your using cardio press again for omni, it is going to depends on what you are recording and what set up you're going yo use, using a antipop filter would bring about the best of the mic. It has a mute button which is really helpful and you can connect a pair of headphones to monitoring the voice level and get the correct one. The mic doesn't come with any software but there are a lot of apps on internet, for example audacity is one of the most used free apps for audio recording, like I said above, it depends on what you need. In summary, the design, color, material quality and its recording sound quality make this non-expensive USB microphone a great option for beginners or people like me who don't like complications or super advance set up.
