Good as a quick tripod for phone

I really only use it as a tripod, I've never curled the legs to grip around any objects. The top is a little wonky. If I tighten the screw, it still moves around.

Love this phone stand

It was even allowed in Disneyland versus a selfie stick. Very sturdy and reliable. I use it for every family trip to hit record and walk away without worrying about my phone falling.

Great Buy for Smaller Gear

I did end up returning mine only because the legs weren't long enough for some of the wrap-around things I wanted to do with it. The extra couple inches between this one and the original Gorilla Pod made a difference for me. But if the shorter legs are good for you, I would absolutely recommend this!

Missing verticle positioning for phone

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Base tripod is well constructed and perfect size as compared to 3K, however it was extremely disappointing that included mobile mount is limited for horizontal position only. This is very annoying for a high quality expensive product especially when 3K model of Joby comes with the rotating mount. Hope Joby reaslises this issue soon enough and start providing rotating mount as standard. Additionally, no blue tooth switch provided to operate mobile camera. Will return this product without using it even once.

Vlogging Setup

It's mainly used for handheld and table shots. It adds ease to my kids using the camera attached. The flexibility of the legs helps in those situations where I have to improvise by bending them to fit the space I have and for those walking shots.
