I enjoy using this gorillapod for the phone but wish it was a bit stronger for camera. Can support a smaller point and shoot but likely won't do well with even an entry level DSLR. Purpose of this was to work with the phone and that worked seamlessly. One grip I have is that the rubber pad on the top of the tripod mount lifted as I tightened the phone mount onto it but it hasn't really affected performance much.

I actually preached this as a phone mount for my car. I chose this product because I could wrap the flexible legs around the grab handles in my car. It works really well! On top of that, I now have a phone mount I can easily use on trips to take pictures with when I’m out and about!

Excellent product. Perfect multipurpose size. I’d give five stars except that the spring loaded grip may or may not weaken over time. I have no way of determining this yet. If it holds strong for years to come then this is definitely a five star tripod. I love the multidirectional capabilities of this very sturdy tripod. I’ve only used it for my iPhone for which it is potentially overkill,strength-wise. I’m sure it holds even heavy cameras well.

The bendable and adjustable legs on this tripod are amazing they hold any position and any weight you put it through

This is a great little accessory for shooting photos and videos with a phone. The articulated legs allow you to attach to just about anything, or balance on uneven surfaces. It took me a bit to figure out the phone clip mechanism (it can be a bit tough to open) but once I did this thing worked perfectly. For the price, and for filming in various settings where a full-height tripod is not required, I definitely recommend.

Bought this tripod to replace a similar tripod that broke. Love the versatility of this item. I wrap it around my arm on hikes to keep my camera near but hands free. The tripod is very sturdy... the legs are extremely stiff, this keeps the camera in place where ever I put it.

Works great when traveling alone. Gets really nice photos with my phone and can latch on to almost anywhere. Great investments for taking pictures.

It was very easy set up just the right size and very stable.

I used to have static fancy old mini tripod and it broke while I was driving ATV so I decided to buy this product and now I don’t have to worry anymore because it’s so sturdy and can be hooked into rods or handle bars and keeping my phone safe and secured.

This thing is so useful. I ended up using it more than my DJI OM 2 gimbal. Wrap it around a tree branch, hang it upside down, whatever... This thing turns your phone or camera into a spider. Some of the adjustable points are a little stiff, but I'm not sure if that will get better with use or if it's a particular quirk with the one I bought, or if it's just how these are.

Bought this for my wife’s food photos/videos. She likes it, but it’s a bit flimsy. The links will pop out of socket occasionally, but they pop right back in. Great for light-duty camera phone work.

I got this tripod for my daughter for her Canon EOS which is slightly bigger than a GX7 and it holds it up not wobbly at all and it’s pretty useful you can even attach it to where you want it and it’s handy for traveling or public uses. Great purchase

This tripod is better than a traditional Standing Tripod, the options of creation of use are unlimited with the flexibility of the tripod’s legs.

Great Tripod. You bought this to use for my Public Speaking class. It was easy to use, sturdy, and easy to lock my phone in. It was a little stiff when taken out of the box. However, after a few usages it was more flexible.

This works great for making videos! I would recommend to someone who is interested in making content for the internet!

This did exactly what I needed - I was able to clip in my phone, wrap the legs around a tree branch, and get great family pictures.
