I had very low expectations about this device. I have gone through a few different ones so I pretty sure it would be the same story. Well...I was extremely wrong! This device outperformed any prior tripod device/hand held tripod that I have purchased prior. The fact that you can literally twist this thing on just about anything is A1! I am yet to find something I cant twist this around. And I have a big Samsung Note 10+ and it is in an Otter Box and it fits! I do not have to take off the Otter Box case. I highly recommend this tripod. Very easy to use right out the box. Nothing to put together so that is nice. This is just all around a great tripod. Do yourself a favor and get this one!!

I've been searching for something I could use to get pictures or video in odd environments. I found the cheaper version of this and started reading the reviews and one caught my eye in particular. It said go ahead and spend the few extra bucks and get this one and I am glad I did. I have some smaller knock off types I use for old iPhones, but they just aren't that reliable or sturdy. That's ok for an old iPhone 4, but not when your camera rig with glass and mic are over $1,000.
Pro's
Very sturdy
Very versatile
Can go from handheld to attached to a chain link fence in about 30 seconds.
Con's
I haven't found any yet
It handles my DSLR with no problems and does a good job.

I needed a stronger camera mount than the one I originally purchased. I saw this one could hold more weight than the camera I own, so I bought it. It is sturdy, stable, and I use it mostly when I am shooting remotely and do not have a level surface to set the camera on. I like that it fits in my camera backpack too. Also- the level on the camera shoe is a nice feature.

Great product to hold your camera or phone, but almost to big for phone use. Very strong and pliable to move around and fit any object. I purchased it on sale and I feel it was a better value at the lower price point, but it is quality made.

I own 3 Joby GorillaPod's. The smallest one I use for my Nikon KeyMission360 camera. The 1K I use for my RX100 and a6500 mirrorless. And I just bought this 3K tripod for my RX10 MarkIV and a7R Mark III.
Most impressive thing to me, is the quality of this ball head!!! I feel confident that when I set it, that is where it will stay. The rubber feet are very grippy on many different types of surfaces. The legs are strong enough to hold 3KG in any position you choose. However, I will add that if you put the legs in a position that allows a camera setup in the couple pound range, where a single ball gets to much of the work, then it will give out. Make sure to pick shapes, that allow the balls to work together.
I would recommend getting a standard Swiss ARCA receiver (like DAC-X1) and mount on their plate so that you can use standard ARCA plates (I use the Peak Design straps, slides, slings with their ARCA plates).
The ball head knob seems to do a great job tightening and I feel I get a lot of leverage due to its diameter and the rubbery grip. The panorama marks seem to be accurate, though if I'm doing really accurate panorama's with my a7Riii, I'm using a real carbon fiber tripod not the 3k (with that said, the panorama marks are more than sufficient).
Be careful with heavier set ups if using the 90 degree/portrait option on the ball head. If you have a heavier camera and the tripod is just standing on a flat surface, you could potentially tip it over. Just be careful. When using the 3K for vlogging, the classic upward arch is VERY comfortable in the hands and I don't feel like my camera setup is slipping left or right. Each ball has a ribbing of rubber that helps your hands grip it. I will note, that I have large hands and three legs together for vlogging feels perfect for me, though it might be a bit big for some. Maybe try one out at Best Buy with some weight on it first?

This tripod is one of the best I've ever owned. It has great flexibility to get great shots. The phone holder is also one of the strongest and well-built phone mounts I've seen in a while. I take this with me every time I'm shooting with my GoPro. It would also hold a DSLR very well.

I’ve had multiple stands for my phone and the amazing thing about this is the flexibility and the ability to grapple it on to so many random things!
The frame to hold the phone is also very stable and the design allows you to really change the angle.
I brought it to Disney with my family and was able to get pictures almost anywhere. I would say the only drawback is that it isn’t that tall. If you don’t have a place to claw onto, you’re sort of stuck with a really low shot.
That being said, overall very happy with this purchsse

Truly the best line on travel tripods! They can help capture some unique angles and are very light and compact. I have the 5k for my mirrorless Canon R5 and will easily hold while 70-200mm lens and battery pack attached to camera. The 3k will also hold with 24-70mm and also perfect for GoPro Timelapse! Must have for any serious travel photos/videos without bulk. Yes you cannot extend legs but if you’re a true photographer you’ll have the vision to make the shot work!

This is exactly what I needed. The vlogging tripod is the perfect size for Office Desk. I use it daily to stream videos on twitch and youtube. It's simple to configure and arrange and the material is very sturdy and capable of holding a dslr camera. Ultimately it's much better than my standard tripod and has allowed me to easily setup my DSLR for streaming from my desktop.

GorillaPods are the best of the best!

Speaking as a professional camera op and videographer working in NYC, I can safely say that GorillaPods are the best phone tripods out there. Super sturdy... wraps/morphs/conforms to just about any surface or mounting scenario... I never feel worried walking away from a cell phone on this tripod. The 3K version is every strong enough to support some light DSLR cameras, although I tend to stick to cell phones and action cameras (GoPro, Osmo, etc.). Only thing that upsets me is the phone mount is Joby brand and not Manfrotto brand (as seen in the picture).

The perfect tripod, sturdy enough to be your only tripod (not like a cheap mobile version) but also very easy to travel with and keep in bags, drawers etc. I love the level on the base of the tripod as well as the fact it comes with a phone holder attachment. JOBY makes the best stuff!

This tripod works great. It is very flexible and durable and it was made well. It is also the only tripod that allowed me to fit my phone with it's case into the phone mount holder. I would buy again. I also attached my selfie light and microphone for zoom and it worked great.

Works with my iPhone pro max and canon m50. Easy to pose and the build quality is solid. Highly portable and has many use cases. I’ve bought cheap posable tripods before and this is worlds apart in terms of quality. This doesn’t slouch with the added weight.

This acts as a tripod in places where its impossible to get a real tripod into! or bend all three legs and use it as a selfie stick. It is the perfect pod to do shootings for vlogs on youtube. The new 3k/2k/1k/5k models have enhanced glue on the ball joints so it won't go loose as quick as the previous older gen models. The panning mode on the ball head is perfect and comes in handy for those cinematic shots for sure. The material used is great and feels EXTREMELY sturdy in my hands. My Canon EOS M50 didn't budge one bit while on this pod.
