    Ive been using a Joby gorilla pod for over 7 years and they do last but after many years of use the joints become loose and you are no longer able to trust them. But id say getting 5-7 years of use out of one of these guys is pretty good!

    Use this for a sony zv1 as my webcam and had to finagle the arms dur to my set up. Workes great and is pretty ridged as well as well built.

    Used this gorillapod on a recent trip. It allowed me to be portable and easily use it as a handle to vlog as well as a tripod to use in small spaces. I even attached my camera to a railing on a tour bus using this Joby Gorillapod. Great tool!

    I personally think this tripod is great. I'm not afraid that the tripod is going to break, and my camera fall off because the feel of it is very sturdy. I have only own this tripod for 3 months so how well it holds up ,only time will tell!
